A 15 minute walk to Port Aventura, 7 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the town of Salou, these 2 bedroom first floor residential apartments are ideally situated for a great holiday. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, have air-conditioning and heating and are sited on a prestigious secure complex which offers outdoor/indoor pools, indoor gymnasium, hydro massage pool, sauna and steam room, outdoor Padel tennis court and children’s play area. The complex is safe for children with secure gates. Should you decide to hire a car there is secure underground parking (if available) (In July and August there is a charge of £20 per week). For a short break or busy holiday these apartments fit the bill, situated on the quieter side of town between the heart of Salou and Port Aventura. An ideal winter get away with the indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium and jacuzzi. Pop on the train and visit Tarragona (10 minutes by taxi or train) or Barcelona (1 hour 20 minutes by train). Why Ann Highgate chose Tarragona

Excellent location for all facilities. Great location for Port Aventura, only a 15 minute walk. Beach 7 minutes and the town 4 minutes. There is absolutely no reason for hiring a car. The train station is a 20 minute walk giving access to Barcelona one way and Valencia the other.

Great winter break with the indoor facilities. Ryanair fly to Reus airport which is only a 15 minute taxi ride away and Barcelona which is 1 hour away is serviced by many airlines. Ferrari land due to be completed in 2017.

What makes this apartment unique

Largest swimming pool in Salou and the only apartments with indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam and gymnasium.

3 nights minimum stay. Minimum charge £300.

The apartment was a home away from home. It was extremely well stocked and had everything we needed. It was clean and beautifully maintained. John very kindly met us when we arrived and showed us around. One of the things I enjoyed as a mum was the security. I felt the location and complex was very safe for families of all ages. We thoroughly enjoyed our week away. We hope to return to Salou again soon but in the meantime I will keep you details to recommend to family and friends. Thank you for your hospitality and all your help.

NEW FERRARI LAND OPENED EASTER 2017 - 15 MINUTE WALK FROM APARTMENT

Coast/Beach:

The Costa Daurada has 216 kilometers of beaches and is known as Spain's Golden Coast. Cambrils and Salou beaches are within a short walk and have developed into one of the main tourist areas in Catalonia, with facilities and entertainment for all ages, including various boat excursions along the coast.

Travel:

A car is not essential. The local airport is Reus, which is served all year by Ryanair and during the popular season, by other charter flights. The airport is approximately a 15 minute drive to the apartments by taxi or car. There is also a bus link from Reus airport to Salou town centre which runs on a regular basis. Barcelona airport is approximately 1 hours drive and is served by schedule and charter airlines. By rail the nearest station is Port Aventura, which is approx. 15 minute walk.

Distances:

Port Aventura Theme and Water Park takes approximately 15 minutes to walk. It is Europe's second largest adventure theme park. The latest addition is Shambhala, tallest ride in Europe - 76 meters in height and the longest fall with 78 meters. The indoor / outdoor Costa Caribe, the caribbean-themed water park also has a beach area. Aquopolis Water Park is nearby, it has one of the most modern dolphinariums in Europe. Aqualand Safari and Water Park is within easy reach.

Further Details:

We are registered with the Turisme de Catalunya. Tarragona is the nearest large town and takes 15 minutes by car, train or bus. It is the regional capital and has one of the finest examples of a Roman city. It has a well-preserved Roman aqueduct, cathedral, amphitheatre and museums. It has a good beach and excellent shopping facilities. Barcelona takes 60 minutes by car, train or bus. It is Spain's second city and has fashionable streets with cultural and tourist attractions. It has one of Europe's larges and best zoos. Parking is difficult, so it is adviseable to go by train. There are various excursions available to places such as Montserrat, it is the home of the Sanctuary of the Virgin and the Santa Monica Benedictine monastery, which, for nearly a thousand years, has been at the service of pilgrims from all ove rthe world. Llieda, which offers mountain trekking, balloon and helicopter flights, horse riding, mountain bike or jeep excursions and river water rafting. The many information kiosks in Salou will have details of how to pre-book before going.

Payment by bank transfer or PAYPAL (A 3.6% fee will be added to the cost if paying by credit or debit car via Paypal. If paying from a Paypal balance or linked bank account there is no fee to pay). Deposit of £250 payable and completed booking contract to secure booking. Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure together with the £150 breakages and cleaning deposit. The £150 breakages and cleaning deposit will be returned, in full, within 5 days of the keys being returned, subject to no damage to the property and having been left generally clean and tidy. Stay tax is included in the price, we do not charge extra for this. Guests may enter apartment after 3.00pm on arrival and must please vacate by 10.00am to allow apartment to be cleaned.

The outdoor pool is on two levels with a waterfall, the gardens are laid to lawn and palm tree lined with an outdoor shower and toilets. There is also an indoor pool, indoor gymnasium, hydro massage pool, sauna and steam room (available for everyone aged 3 and over) Swimming caps must be worn whilst using the indoor facilities (these can be purchased from the lifeguard or take your own). Outdoor paddle tennis court and children's play area. Tennis rackets and balls are available from the lifeguard if you fancy a game of tennis.

Fantastic apartment, in lovely clean complex in ideal location.

Fab apartment in great location. We were 2 adults and 3 kids aged 15, 14 and 12. The apartment had everything you needed and had lots of space. The pools were great and not packed. There are no loungers but then didnt have to get up early to book a space. Lots of grass to sit on and plenty of shade from trees. Couldn't be handier for beach, shops and restaurants. We took local buses to neighbouring towns, the train to Barcelona and the tourist train around salou (which is not hop off and hop back, as audio suggests) from just a short walk from apartment. We didn't go to park adventura but it was just up the road. Definitely booking again for next year.

Superb apartment !

We enjoyed a fantastic 2 week stay at the beginning of July in this spacious, well equipped apartment. The location couldn't have been better. Portaventura theme park is a mere 10 minutes walk away while 10 minutes in the opposite direction takes you directly into the centre of Salou town. We found the air conditioning to be really effective which was ideal as at the time of our stay temperatures were always around the mid 30's.The pool area did get busy on occasion (then again it was July) but there was always ample space to sit or lie around it. We also found the pool itself to be significantly larger than in any of the 4 star hotels nearby. Our 2 children aged 8 & 10 certainly made good use of it. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing 2 week stay and if there were any issues at all Ben and Betty who lived nearby were easily contactable and readily available. If we decide to return to Salou in the future we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. Thanks again Ann.

Perfect

My wife and 2 children stayed for 4 nights at this apartment. we picked the area so we could visit portaventura theme park. The park was only a 10-15 min walk and when we had finished the 2 days there a 5 -10 walk in the opposite direction puts you amongst all the bars shops and restaurants.

The apartment is very clean , spacious and has every thing need we will be returning.

Clean, spacious, well equipped apartment

We stayed in this apartment for an extended period having rented it a couple of years ago for a week with our two grandchildren. We loved it so much we decided to see if we could go back and stay for longer, this time just the two of us. The description of the property is 100% accurate so for newcomers to the property, there are no surprises , it's just what you are expecting, well equipped, clean and spacious plus everything else in the description. It is near Port Aventura with Ferrariland opened this year and about 10 minutes walk to the wonderful beach of Salou. Nearby are great places to visit all accessible by public transport, train and bus, which are nearby. Ann who owns the flat was as helpful as ever and really went out of her way to help and make our stay pleasant and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for her. There are amazing restaurants and cafes nearby. The ones we ate at were the Creta (great for children and families) which is on the seafront at the end of the road you walk down from the flat. It's a very reasonable price and the food is always perfect. The menu del dia is 12.95 Euros. Also The Terramar at one end of the beach. Specialising in fish. We also ate at Gorettis which makes wonderful pizzas and pasta. Coffee and croissants are the cheapest ever in the local cafes and the coffee the best. We didn't go to Port Aventura this time but could see Red Force the main attraction for Ferrariland from one of the balconies. It's great fun seeing the roller coaster in action. You get no noise from the theme park despite its proximity. Best of both worlds! Yes I would recommend this property to friends and have already re booked for 2018. Can't wait to go there again.

Beautiful Apartment

We had a great holiday. The apartment was lovely, and exactly as described, really spacious and well equipped.. Location was perfect and so near to Portaventura.( only 10-15 min walk) Ann was really helpful and all communication was dealt with promptly, and efficiently Our arrival at the apartment went smoothly too. I would definitely recommend the apartment to friends and family.

Great Property

Great location, well maintained apartment, great commuication prior, during and post our stay with the owner.

There's really nothing negative I have to say, the place is great, the pool area is well maintained, it's close to the shops and the bars/restaurant, beaches are 10 minutes away as is Portaventura...

I'll be looking at staying again and would certainly recommend this as a great holiday rental.
