15 MINUTE WALK TO PORT AVENTURA and THE FERRARI LAND OPENING IN APRIL 2017. The accommodation comprises 1 double bedroom, with fitted wardrobes and drawer storage, with en-suite bath and shower over, toilet and separate vanity basin, 1 twin bedroom, shower room with toilet and basin, separate kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and electric oven with grill and hob. There are plastic plates, bowls, beakers and cutlery for children. The lounge/dining room comprises dining table with 4 chairs, sofa bed, flat screen TV with English and Spanish channels, DVD player and books. We accept PAYPAL.

A 15 minute walk to Port Aventura, 7 minutes to the beach and 4 minutes to the town of Salou, these 2 bedroom first floor residential apartments are ideally situated for a great holiday. The apartments are spacious and comfortable, have air-conditioning and heating and are sited on a prestigious secure complex which offers outdoor/indoor pools, indoor gymnasium, hydro massage pool, sauna and steam room, outdoor Padel tennis court and children’s play area. The complex is safe for children with secure gates. Should you decide to hire a car there is secure underground parking (if available) (In July and August there is a charge of £20 per week). For a short break or busy holiday these apartments fit the bill, situated on the quieter side of town between the heart of Salou and Port Aventura. An ideal winter get away with the indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gymnasium and jacuzzi. Pop on the train and visit Tarragona (10 minutes by taxi or train) or Barcelona (1 hour 20 minutes by train). Why Ann Highgate chose Tarragona

Excellent location for all facilities. Great location for Port Aventura, only a 15 minute walk. Beach 7 minutes and the town 4 minutes. There is absolutely no reason for hiring a car. The train station is a 20 minute walk giving access to Barcelona one way and Valencia the other.

Great winter break with the indoor facilities. Ryanair fly to Reus airport which is only a 15 minute taxi ride away and Barcelona which is 1 hour away is serviced by many airlines. Ferrari land due to be completed in 2017.

Booking Notes:
Minimum charge £295.
Payment accepted by bank transfer or PAYPAL (A 3.6% fee will be added to the cost if paying by credit or debit card via Paypal. If paying from a Paypal balance or linked bank account there is no fee to pay). Deposit of £250 payable and completed booking contract to secure booking. Final payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure together with the £150 breakages and cleaning deposit. The £150 breakages and cleaning deposit will be returned, in full, within 5 days of the keys being returned, subject to no damage to the property and having been left generally clean and tidy. The stay tax is included in the price, we do not charge extra for this. Guests may enter apartment after 3.00pm on arrival and must please vacate by 10.00am to allow apartment to be cleaned.

The outdoor pool is on two levels with a waterfall, the gardens are laid to lawn and palm tree lined with an outdoor shower and toilets. There is also an indoor pool, indoor gymnasium, hydro massage pool, sauna and steam room (available for everyone aged 3 and over) Swimming caps must be worn whilst using the indoor facilities (these can be purchased from the lifeguard or take your own). Outdoor paddle tennis court and children's play area. Tennis rackets and balls are available from the lifeguard if you fancy a game of tennis.

Lovely Apartment, fantastic location!

Fantastic apartment. Perfect place to stay if you want to be in the centre of things but also want peace & quiet at night time. 10 mins walk to the beach, 15 mins to Portaventura. Apartment has all you need for a self catering holiday and was very clean & tidy. Our kids loved the pool area which was always quiet when we visited. Ben & Betty who look after the apartment met us at the airport & took us back again at the end of our stay, they were very helpful. Couldn't fault anything about this place and will be booking again for next year.

P.s. For a lovely meal at reasonable prices we recommend The Bell Tavern just down the road at Placa d'Europa roundabout, delicious!

Beautiful Apartment

The apartment was lovely,and was exactly what we were expecting. It was in a perfect location, and just a 15 min walk from Portaventura, Ann was extremely helpful , and everything went smoothly on our arrival at the apartment. We had a lovely holiday, and would certainly recommend the apartment to friends and family.

Lovely apartment

We have recently returned from a holiday in Salou and a lovely stay in Ann's apartment. The apartment was clean & tidy and was exactly as described/shown in photos. There are 2 balconies to the apartment which we made good use of - one off the living room/kitchen which faces out to the pool & gardens and the other is off the 2 bedrooms. Life was also made a lot easier by having a dishwasher and washing machine in the apartment. The apartment is ideally located - just a 10/15 minute walk to PortAventura (we thoroughly enjoyed it here and would highly recommend a visit) and a 15 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/bars. Booking was easy & Ann responded to my many queries/emails very promptly! I would recommend this property.

A wonderful holiday

The apartment is clean and spacious with balconies and occupies a perfect position between the beach and the Portaventura theme parks. Close to shops and a lovely big pool for swimming and fun which has a daily life guard and is well equip with facilities for guests.

I would return to this resort and apartment again.

Home from Home

We(family of four-kids aged 11 and 15) enjoyed a fortnight in Ann's apartment. The apartment is very central to beach, Portaventura and the town of Salou. The apartment is very well maintained and equipped.

There are balconies on both sides, so gets sun at different times of the day. One balcony overlooks the pool- excellent for keeping an eye on older kids. The air-conditioning in the apartment is very good.

There is a good sized outdoor pool and a smaller kiddies pool.

There is also an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym for resident's use.

There are no sun loungers around the pool but you can purchase them in Salou or use a towel.

inflatables are also not allowed in main pool but can be used in the kiddies pool.

The owner Ann couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.

The information pack in the apartment was very useful and informative.

Ann was very quick to respond to any queries or concerns and we would have no hesitation in recommending her apartment.

We enjoyed trips to Cambrils,a festival in Terragona (which is worth a visit) and the downhill biking in Salou was great fun.

Portaventura was a big hit with our kids but check the opening hours before going!

We enjoyed food in the Guinness Tavern, the Sunday roast in Dannys bar and the great food and hospitality in Lindas bar and restaurant :-)

Great apartment for a family

Clean and spacious apartment ideal for a family, washing machine and dishwasher were a luxury in self catering accommodation. DVD player was a hit with the children, and Ann left a selection of books which I thought was a nice extra touch. Easy walking distance to Port Aventura and to centre and beach of Salou. We did book John to collect us from Barcelona and he was outside waiting for us and made the whole transfer trouble free, Neither Ann or John could do any more to help. Would definitely recommend.

The Costa Daurada has 216 kilometers of beaches and is known as Spain's Golden Coast. Cambrils and Salou beaches are within a short walk and have developed into one of the main tourist areas in Catalonia, with facilities and entertainment for all ages, including various boat excursions along the coast.


A car is not essential. The local airport is Reus, which is served all year by Ryanair and during the popular season, by other charter flights. The airport is approximately a 15 minute drive to the apartments by taxi or car. There is also a bus link from Reus airport to Salou town centre which runs on a regular basis. Barcelona airport is approximately 1 hours drive and is served by schedule and charter airlines. By rail the nearest station is Port Aventura, which is approx. 15 minute walk.


Port Aventura Theme and Water Park takes approximately 15 minutes to walk. It is Europe's second largest adventure theme park. The latest addition is Shambhala, tallest ride in Europe - 76 meters in height and the longest fall with 78 meters. The indoor / outdoor Costa Caribe, the caribbean-themed water park also has a beach area. Aquopolis Water Park is nearby, it has one of the most modern dolphinariums in Europe. Aqualand Safari and Water Park is within easy reach.

We are registered with the Turisme de Catalunya. Tarragona is the nearest large town and takes 15 minutes by car, train or bus. It is the regional capital and has one of the finest examples of a Roman city. It has a well-preserved Roman aqueduct, cathedral, amphitheatre and museums. It has a good beach and excellent shopping facilities. Barcelona takes 60 minutes by car, train or bus. It is Spain's second city and has fashionable streets with cultural and tourist attractions. It has one of Europe's larges and best zoos. Parking is difficult, so it is adviseable to go by train. There are various excursions available to places such as Montserrat, it is the home of the Sanctuary of the Virgin and the Santa Monica Benedictine monastery, which, for nearly a thousand years, has been at the service of pilgrims from all ove rthe world. Llieda, which offers mountain trekking, balloon and helicopter flights, horse riding, mountain bike or jeep excursions and river water rafting. The many information kiosks in Salou will have details of how to pre-book before going.
