Farmhouse in Val D'Eguas, Nr. Almancil, Algarve - Tranquil Village Location

Traditional Algarvian farmhouse in secluded, tranquil setting. Conveniently located for Faro airport, the beach, golf, tennis and restaurants that can suit all tastes. Accommodation comprises of a spacious lounge/dining room with an open fireplace and a spiral staircase to a large secluded roof terrace. There are views to the coast and the hills, a well equipped kitchen, a family bathroom, 1 double and 1 twin-bedded room. The rear terrace, with an outside eating area and built-in barbecue, leads to an attractive courtyard shaded by an ancient olive tree, with access to the pool. The pool garden is surrounded by established fig, pomegranate, carob, almond and citrus trees, with a shady area for poolside dining.

The east/west motorway is a 3 minute drive. There are 2 waterslide parks within a 5 minute drive. There are 4 popular restaurants within a few minutes walk and numerous restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

Further Details:

The David Lloyd centre is at Quinta do Lago. There are public tennis courts on the road to Val do Lobo. A kart track is located a few minutes from the village.

Notes on accommodation: Wood for fire and heaters are available for winter lets. Outside: Beautiful, established garden is a feature of the property. There are several patios, some of which have natural shading, throughout the garden with patio furniture, sunbeds and shades. The 8m x 4m secluded private pool and garden can be lit at night. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned weekly and the towels and linen are changed weekly.

Almancil Farmhouse

Lovely property, very clean with everything we needed provided. The owners directions and information was very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed eight days there, only downside ( which the owners could not be responsible for ) there was quite a lot of barking from the neighbours dogs both day and night.

Traditional Farmhouse - great location and pool

Had a great stay. House is traditional but clean/tidy/everything works. It was over 40 degrees when we were there, so the desk fans provided did not quite cool the place as much as needed (note - there are no ceiling fans). Pool is lovely and huge/well maintained and not at all overlooked. Terraces and outdoor eating was perfect! Communications pre-stay with John were quick/efficient/clear. Almancil is less than a 5 min drive and has all of the amenities you'll need - supermarket, restaurants, cafes with wifi etc .Would definitely recommend as good value for the area.

Lovely Villa

Had a great time in the farmhouse villa. Great location as surrounded by Portuguese families and not to far from main areas in the location. Villa was very clean and the pool was a great size. Very relaxing holiday, we would definitely return. The owner was very helpful and flexible with when we departed due to our flight times in the evening, which allowed us to remain in the villa.
