Stylish Modern Townhouse, Carabeillo Beach/Burriana Beach, 5 Mins walk to Nerja Town Centre - Ideally Situated Only 300m From Carabeillo Beach And 5 Mins Walk to Burriana Beach & the Balcon

Newly renovated spacious townhouse, 2 bedrooms, new modern luxury bathroom and new cloakroom. Located in popular area near the Parador and Burriana Beach. Located in a small quiet private urbanisation, ideally located 3 mins walk from the lovely Carabeillo/Burriana beaches & Calle Carabeo, plus only 5 mins walk to the town centre/Balcon. The gardens are well maintained & the pool only a minute from the house. This spacious townhouse is furnished & decorated to a very high standard with all mod cons including WiFi, Satellite, DVD/CD, Electronic Safe, Air-conditioning, Fans and dishwasher; ensuring your holiday is comfortable and relaxing. There is a sunny private patio for alfresco dining, in addition there is a private roof terrace with sun loungers. The floorings/staircase throughout are marble. All the windows and doors are fitted with shutters which help keep the house cool in summer, and make it completely secure, together with an electronic safe for valuables. There is air conditioning available and for the winter months there is heating available in all the rooms in the house. This townhouse would be suitable for a family with older children, couples or friends.

Please note this well managed, reasonably priced Townhouse has no connection with another in the same urbanisation - this amateur owner has copied the entire contents of my advertisement and some guests have consequently thought that the properties were connected in some way. Be warned - I have not heard any good comments from guests staying at this overpriced house, don't expect any customer service!

Lovely place right on the doorstep

We stayed at the property in July 2015 and I would highly recommend it. The house has everything needed for a really comfortable stay. Very clean and high quality furnishings, a real home from home and the location couldn't be better with everything no more than a few minutes walk away including the fabulous burriana beach. We will definitely be back.

My only criticism would be that air con upstairs would make it even better (we were there when the temperatures were in the 40's so it was extremely hot)

Great Townhouse - Excellent Location

My husband, 13 year old daughter and I enjoyed a fantastic 2 week holiday staying at Casa Azul. The townhouse is lovely and very well equipped with everything to make your holiday as good and as comfortable as possible. Everything has been thought of.

Casa Azul was perfect in every way, from the house itself to the location. It is very central and a short walk takes you to the lovely town of Nerja, the beach, supermarkets, local shops and also to the many bars and restaurants. It's such a lovely area. There is also a nice small private terrace garden and a terrace roof top area both nice places to relax.

Would definitely stay again and already looking forward to our next visit whenever that may be in the future.

Modern, smart and very well equipped Townhouse

Lovely house in great location, so close to the beach and the Balcon. Very comfortable and so well equipped, we couldn't think of anything that you had not provided. Lots of small extra things like, shopping trolley, hats, FirstAid & Sewing Kits, and Smoke Alarm! Lovely spacious walk in shower and downstairs cloakroom. Good to have the A/C for cooling off. Private sunny roof terrace and patio were great for chilling out. Also very good value for the quality and location.

Wonderful holiday

We have stayed in Nerja during the winter on several occasions but always in hotels before. We found that 2 months at Casa Azul was definitely preferable. Everything had been thought of at the house to make our holiday perfect. Numerous restaurants all within easy walking distance but also plenty of kitchen equipment if one should wish to cook. If we had any difficulties help was only a phone call away. Everywhere was very clean, and there was a cheap and efficient laundry opposite where we took the bedding. Apart from a couple of days, blue skies and sunshine which we enjoyed on the patio and on the sunbeds on the roof. We would certainly recommend Casa Azul to friends and have in fact booked again for next January/February.

Beautiful townhouse in fantastic central location

This is a lovely stylish townhouse located in the centre of Nerja, but quiet and relaxing. A car is not needed. Many cafes, bars and shops very nearby and a five minute walk to the beach/Balcon. Extremely well equipped, especially the kitchen, and very clean. Everything had been thought of, to ensure that guests feel like they are staying in a 'home from home'. The weather in November was fantastic too - so just a wonderful 4 week holiday. I would recommend this property to all my friends.

The location is fantastic for a relaxing holiday, a car is not required. This townhouse is so much more comfortable and spacious than an apartment, so there is plenty of space for all the guests. A real home from home!

Nearest Airport : Malaga - 45 minutes easy motorway drive to Nerja at 50 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Joannys, Cebellas and many more - 5 mins walk at 50 Metres Nearest Golf : Baviera Golf - Caleta de Velez, Malaga at 20 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : E15 / A7 from Malaga and N340 along the coast road at 5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Bacchas and many others very close by at 50 Metres Nearest Ski : Sierra Nevada (Granada) at 80 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Carabeillo, Burriana Beach and many more close by at 400 Metres Car: not necessary

Special interest holidays:

There are 2 water parks in the area, one at Torre de Mar, the other at Almunecar, both within 20-30 minutes drive.

This is a great area for walking in the Andalucian Mountains or the local hills which are preserved as a Nature Park, free of housing. Burriana beach offers water sports including a professional scuba diving school. Diving is particularly good along the coastline east of the beach which is a series of unspoilt coves and cliffs with Marine Nature Park status.


The nearest beach, only 300m away, is the lovely sandy Playa Carabeillo, this beach leads onto the famous Burriana Beach. The Burriana beach is one of the few 'blue-flag' beaches in Spain, and there are numerous beach bars, restaurants and shops along the promenade. There are children's play areas and volley ball area set up on the beach. Pedallos & beach beds can be hired.

Other beaches within a five minute walk from the house are the Playa Carabeo, Playa Chorrillo and Playa Calahonda.


Malaga airport is a 45 minute drive away, with motorway access to within a mile of the town of Nerja. A car is not essential, but there are many interesting places (Granada's famous Alhambra Palace) and uncrowded beaches to visit if you do have one. There is also a regular bus service from Malaga to Nerja (only €8 return). Granada airport is approx 1 l/2 hrs drive away. There is an exellent bus service to all nearby towns from Nerja Bus Station, only 10 minutes walk from the townhouse.


The award winning beautiful village of Frigiliana is only 5kms away (bus from Nerja town). The village of Maro and the famous Nerja Caves (well worth a visit) are approx 7 kms drive (or get the bus). Granada and the amazing Moorish Alhambra Palace are approximately 1 and 1/4 hrs away (you can also catch the bus).

Further Details:

The nearest supermarket, which caters for Spanish and international food, and an Internet cafe are 2 minutes walk away in Los Huertos. There is another supermarket right behind the house. There are several large supermarkets within easy walking distance. Most bars/restaurants now offer free Wi-Fi. There are very many Tapas bars, cafes, bars, restaurants and shops within a short stroll. Various banks and the Tourist Office are very nearby at the 'Balcon de Europa'.

Changeover Day:

Notes on prices:
Prices are for property per week (including NORMAL costs for Air Conditioning and Heating). This includes cleaning at start and end of rental, and an extra set of bed linen, bath and hand towels provided for more than a one week stay.   • Notes on accommodation: The townhouse is located in the most popular area of Nerja very near to the famous Burriana Beach and Parador Hotel and many other lovely bars and restaurants. There are also many shops, restaurants and bars conveniently located nearby, only 5 mins from the town centre and the Balcon. The townhouse is most suitable for families with older children (rather than very small children) couples and friends. Not suitable for disabled (stairs). Air-conditioning and dishwasher (which are very unusual in rental properties) are provided in the living area/kitchen, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. There is heating provided in all the rooms in the house for stays during the winter months. There are shutters and grills provided on all the doors and windows, these help keep the house warm in winter and cool in summer. They also ensure that the property is completely secure. There is an electronic safe provided for valuables in the 2nd bedroom wardrobe. Parking in St. but car not required. Outside: The entrance to the property has a lovely area with orange trees and wooden bench seating; there is also a well kept secluded lawn area and gardens around the property. The communal gardens and pool area (usually open June-early October) are very close to the house. The newly renovated sunny private patio area is walled with plants and climbing flowers and has a modern aluminium/glass table and 6 chairs, also including a sun umbrella and sun awnings. There is a new bbq ready for use on the patio. This area is ideal for alfresco dining. The roof terrace has 2 sun loungers, a small table, and sun umbrella. The 'Absolute Fitness and Pilates' Fitness Centre is also very close by with heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish baths, gymnasium and various fitness classes. Parking is available in the road outside and there is a very large car park (paying) just behind the property. However, because of the very central location, a car is not essential. Many shops/restaurants/bars nearby. Utility Room: A laundry/storeroom area is conveniently located on the Roof Terrace. There are also 2 sunbeds, and a small table. This area also includes washing machine and drying facilities (washing lines, pegs, clothes horse). Sunbeds & cushions are kept here. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: On your arrival the house will be freshly cleaned and serviced with beds made and a supply of newly laundered hand & large bath towels. For stays of more than one week, a fresh set of bed linen/towels will be left in the house. Please bring beach towels. Other: Also supplied is a steam iron, ironing board, hairdryers, weighing scales (for luggage & other items!), & smoke alarm.
