Fantastic house and location

  • 5 of 5

A delightful luxury house in a great location just a short walk to Dartmouth town centre and less than a minute from the estuary. The house is very comfortable for 6 people and furnished to a high standard. It also has the added benefit of car parking for two cars which is rare in Dartmouth, especially in Warfleet part of the conservation area of the town.

We had a lovely week with our 2 teenage boys and our dog who was very much welcomed.

Steve the owner was very friendly and helpful , the property was clean and well maintained and everything was to a high standard, it was home from home.

The beds were very comfortable and the area was very quiet and peaceful allowing us to have a lovely Rest.

Dartmouth town was within walking distance and there were lots of lovely shops and restaurants to eat it.

Our Dog loved swimming in the creek and there were lovely dog walks nearby.

Look forward to returning in the future , Many Thanks.

Fantastic property, amazing location !!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic time at Kiln House which is situated very close to Dartmouth harbour and castle. There are lots of things to do, come rain or shine; beautiful beaches, quaint towns just a short drive away, indoor and outdoor pools close by, boat trips and a steam train. The house is spacious, yet cosy, with a modern feel to it and we all had our own en-suite bathrooms.

We look forward to our next visit !

Large, clean, functional town house. Extremely comfortable beds and beautiful quiet location.

  • 4 of 5

Easy to find on sat nav, with adequate parking. The house didn't disappoint but the outdoor space did. Not adequate for young children.

We found the location idyllic, quiet, beautiful, easy access to town, the castle and to the water ferry alll but a few minutes walk away. We will certainly return.

Owner's Response: Yvonne thanks for your review, were pleased that you enjoyed your holiday and you are more than welcome to stay again. The house is in the conservation area of Dartmouth and as it is right next to the estuary and beaches, like all of the houses in that location has an appropriate sized garden and decked area for the location. It does however have plenty of space for car parking which is extremely beneficial for Dartmouth.

Modern Townhouse near the creek

  • 5 of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kiln House and for a group of adults it is perfect as all bedrooms are ensuite. The location is excellent for dog owners as the creek is at the bottom of the lane and the creek is also perfect for a glass of wine in the evening as the sun goes down gazing across the river at Dartmouth

Modern property, with convenient location, very suitable for 6, and includes parking

  • 4 of 5

Well appointed modern property in a development just outside Dartmouth centre. Walkable to the main attractions, and very convenient Warfleet cove, and Dartmouth Castle.

Our party of 5 were well catered for in the property, each bedroom having it's own en suite - very helpful.
