Located in Fuengirola town close to the superb Moorish Castle and just 400 metres from the beach, this is a beautiful, private, 3 bed, 3 bathroom property with fabulous panoramic sea views, private pool, gardens, 5 lovely terraces, all main UK TV channels and own private WiFi. All located in a cul de sac just 6 mins walk from the main shopping centre and largest supermarket in town. The property is open-plan, split-level, very airy and light, boasting high wood-beamed ceilings, two air-con units, underfloor heating, huge windows and French doors. The lower garden, porch/terrace and pool area are reminiscent of Balinese style with wood-effect tiling, natural stone and marble. There are 5 terraced areas around the villa providing plenty of separate space to do your own thing. Fully furnished & equipped, Villa Blanca is 25 kms or less from Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus, Torremolinos, many golf courses, Mijas race course, 2 aqua parks, Tivoli World amusement park and many other fun places/activities. Fuengirola has hundreds of bars, restaurants, night clubs/discos, boutiques etc.

Sky TV 'free to air' channels are no longer available in Spain via the Sky satellite but the Villa now boasts all four BBC and all four ITV channels, Channel 4 and 5, E4, Cbeebies, CBBC and many more channels via a very good cellular internet connection. The WiFi signal is 3G/4G using a fast MiFi router providing strong and fast download and upload speeds.

The location, size, standard and range of amenities of this property are close to unbeatable in Fuengirola, especially at the competitive weekly rates charged.

About the Owner

I am a British Chartered Accountant and I came to live and work in Spain in 1998 after a long-ish career in auditing and then corporate finance. On arriving in Spain, as a complete change of lifestyle, I opened a very successful French restaurant which I later sold very well. I then owned and ran a small, successful real estate office but closed it when the property market went quiet here in 2007. I speak fluent French and an improving Spanish too. I have been advertising here since 2007.

I am a friendly and approachable guy and I want to make sure that my guests are happy with everything and, thankfully, I seem to succeed in that. I expect high standards when I go on holiday and I always assume that my guests expect the same from me.

Fantastic for all the family

We were a party of 6, my in-laws in their 60's myself and my husband in our 30's and our 2 daughters 18 & 11yrs. We have very recently returned from a fantastic week at Villa Blanca.

David's villa is beautifully kept, well presented and his attention to make sure we were happy and knew all we needed to know about the property during our stay was very impressive.

This was our 3rd villa holiday and my in-laws first. In the past we have had keys posted to us or collected keys from a pin protected key box outside the property on arrival.

David met us on arrival and showed us around, he then popped back a few days later to see that all was ok, and stayed for a cuppa and a chat with my in-laws, a nice touch and was greatly appreciated.

We found the space and layout of villa to be perfect for family living. We each had our own space if needed. My in-laws loved their room with the en-suite.

The pool, pool area and all terraces are gorgeous, very well furnished and kept. The gardener called in twice during our stay and was very friendly and kept saying he did not want to disturb us which was considerate, but not necessary.

The view from the lounge terrace is amazing I really miss having my morning coffee out there. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped. Home from home.

The location of the villa was ideal for us as was not in the hussle and bussle but if we wanted some we could take a short walk to the beach front or myramar shopping center. Both were easy to find and I had used google earth to have a noisey around the area before we got there so knew what direction to go in.

We would like to thank David for his help and assistance during our holiday, we had a fantastic time and your villa is amazing1 The photos on here don't do it justice.

We will most definitely be in touch again next year to book again but for 2 weeks next time. Highly recommend to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

I have no idea what the reference to 'hilly' means except that, fortunately, the Villa is situated some 10 meters above sea level. Other than that, there is nothing 'hilly' about the location. SUPER VILLA

Have just returned after a fabulous 2 week holiday in Villa Blanca. I cannot praise this Villa enough. It is extremely spacious, immaculate and all you need for a wonderful stay.

The views are to die for, from the left is the beautiful castle on the hill which is lit up at night and the beach .

There is only a short walk to the beach, and a little further to the large Shopping Centre which is well worth a visit which also includes a large Supermarket called Eroski.

David the owner is a lovely man, and nothing is too much trouble. We were a party of 5 and there was a terrace for each person if we needed, which we didn't.

Look forward to returning to Villa Blanca in the future.

Best villa ever rented!

Family of 5, 3 growing up kids 16,15,14 years old. The villa was great, every one had enough privacy, more than enough space. The location was superb! Kids felt free, so we felt free. Beach was nearby, shopping mall nearby and city centre nearby. Just a short walk. Villa was very well equiped, Great (new) bbq, etc. We would certainly recommend and we woudl certainly come back if we want te visit fuengirola again. David, thank you very much for your warm welcome!

Perfecto!

A return stay to this wonderful villa which has so much space, privacy and incredible sea views - better than the pictures. The kids lived in the pool even at this time of year and we watched from the lounge balcony. We came back because of the pool, the terraces (about 6) and the 3 bathrooms so no queuing lol. Also, because it is a very beautiful place and this time we had all the UK tv channels, and wifi and also a brand new brick-built BBQ. The shopping centre and beach are only 5 minutes walk and we didn't hire a car this time at all. Fuengirola has become our favourite town because it has everything for kids and grown ups. I bought Villa Blanca because of its fabulously original interior layout and very high ceilings as well as the excellent panoramic sea views. Another factor was the location on the edge of town but so close to the beach and so many facilities including restaurants, bars, the Myramar shopping mall etc...perfect. I completely renovated it in 2004 and, in 2006, I extended it significantly and installed a super private pool of 32 m2. Most of my guests say the photos do not do the Villa justice especially the sea views and the beautiful garden. It is not necessary to hire a car as all you need is accessible within walking distance. However, the Villa is also ideally located as a central point to visit so many places of interest, sports and other facilities, shops, and other towns.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : at 20 Kilometres Nearest Train : at 1.6 Kilometres Nearest Beach : at 400 Metres

Coast/Beach:

The beach is 400 metres from Villa Blanca and is a 3 or 4 minute walk. There are no major roads to be crossed to get there because there is a very convenient foot bridge over the coastal road some 200m from the property. The beach here is very wide, made of golden sand, and popular and there are a number of bars and restaurants as well as the Beatriz Palace hotel.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 20 kms i.e. 20 minutes drive away from the Villa. From the airport, one can take a taxi to the Villa or the train which goes to the Centre of Fuengirola. Marbella is also 20km away in the other direction. The beautiful mountain pueblo of Mijas is just 5 kms inland, Gibraltar is some 110 kms and Puerto Banus some 25kms. There are many other super places to visit including the City of Malaga (20 kms), Ronda (70 kms), Tarifa (120kms), Granada, Antequera, Cordoba, El Chorro lakes,

Distances:

The Villa is located at the west end of Fuengirola. To walk into town is quick and easy. The start of the town's pedestrian beach-front promenade is approximately 350 metres away, about 3 minutes on foot.

Further Details:

The new Myramar centre is located within a 6-7 minute walk (about 700 metres) from the villa and comprises Fuengirola's largest supermarket (Eroski) and several dozen independent shops and boutiques selling clothes, jewellery, furniture, toys, electrical and many others. The shopping centre also has its own multi-screen cinema and a selection of restaurants and fast food outlets.

Booking Notes:
The minimum booking period is one week. However, if you would like to enquire about slightly shorter periods please feel free to do so.
From November to April, good discounts are available for longer stays.
To secure a booking, a deposit of 20% is required. Balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival plus a refundable damages deposit of 10% (minimum £250). To book, please contact the owner stating desired dates, size & composition of group (family, friends, couples etc & ages of any children). For weeks that overlap a month end, prices are pro-rated to the number of days falling in each month.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible except in the period from May to September, when we only take bookings starting and ending on Saturdays. Arrival time is from 15.00 hours and departure time is 10.00 hours.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Relevant for winter, there is underfloor heating in the lounge and master bedroom and bathroom. In the dining area and one of the other bedrooms there is heating and air-conditioning. The pool is not deep - about 145cm or 4 ft 9in with no deep end, so it is ideal for children but deep enough for all to swim in. However, as a simple safety precaution we ask that adults do not allow children to use the pool without supervision. The garden and pool will need to be maintained at all times and we would ask you please to understand that we will need to access these areas during your stay to ensure your continued enjoyment. We will of course respect your privacy and be as quick and discreet as possible. Outside: The private pool is 8m x 4m and 1.45m deep. Outdoor furniture includes a dining table and chairs and a separate table with benches. There are 6 sun loungers and a mobile BBQ. Around the villa there are 6 distinct terraces/patios giving everyone their own bit of private space when desired. There are sea views from most of the garden and terraces including the pool area. The garden is quite private and most of it is not overlooked. There are lots of flowers and plants typical of the region including some beautiful bougainvilleas as well as a good variety of roses, palmeras and jasmine. Utility Room: Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer to rear of kitchen. Plenty of cupboard space and double sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bed linen are provided fresh and clean at the beginning of your stay but also changed weekly if you are staying longer than a week. You may of course, if you prefer, use the washing machine and other facilities to do your own laundry. Other: Around the villa there are 6 separate patio/terraces.
