Villa in Vence, Provence-Alpes-Cote DAzur, France - Set Amid Landscaped Gardens on a Quiet, Well-Kept Domaine

Very attractive villa with an upper and lower terrace for outside dining amid lush gardens, located a couple of minutes by car from Vence and a 40 minute drive from Nice airport. Easy access to coastal resorts and beaches. The swimming pool is heated and discreetly positioned so that it is not overlooked by neighbours. The villa is situated on a lovely, quiet domaine. The historic town of Vence boasts a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops within a picturesque, medieval walled old town, hosts a music festival throughout the summer and is best known for the small chapel painted by Matisse. In 2015, the whole interior of the villa was re-painted.

The most relaxing holiday in years

  • 5 of 5

This property is ideally situated just a 30 minute drive from Nice airport.

It is situated in a beautiful part of France, Vence, St. Paul de Vence, Tourettes Sur Loup only a short drive away all of which have some lovely restaurants and places to visit. The property itself is as described, spacious we had plenty of room with our 3 children ages 12, 10 and 4. Good size bedrooms and bathrooms. One of the major highlights of this property is the outside living space, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the garden, played cards for hours on the patio. The kids had a fantastic time in the pool which was a good size- the photos don't really do it justice. We didn't really do many activities as we were all happy to stay by the pool most days. A really fantastic family holiday and would strongly recommend it. We hope to return again next year.

What a place.Must be the best in Vence

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a long week-end and from the second we set eyes on this place we knew we had won the lottery.

The house is immaculate. beautifully furnished with all you need to either look after yourself, or just to lounge around. There are 3 really good sized bedrooms, two bath rooms and a great kitchen that is equipped with everything you need to fully cater for a large group.

We had breakfast and dinner on the delightful patio, and then in the evenings relaxed on the veranda, with is glorious views out to sea.

There is also a great pool, that is situated at the top of the garden. very secluded, and an amazing mural to look at as well.

The location is superb. 20 mins from the airport at Nice and just 5 mins drive into Vence. But in a lovely secluded complex that is away from the crowds and so quiet you can sleep with the windows wide open.

You would be very hard pushed to find a better property in a better location.

We will be back many, many more times.

Immaculate house and great pool...

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week with our 2 young children during August 2014. We found the house immaculately clean and very well presented. The house really feels like someone's home rather than a rental investment. The owners were very quick to provide us with a new cot and a high chair for our little one and both our children really enjoyed playing in the garden and especially the pool (which is heated and a really good size). The pool is particular good having a stepped shallow end for the kids. The garage is really well kitted out with pool toys and inflatables. The area is superb with easy access to Antibes, Nice, Monaco, Cannes etc and other centres or quieter hilltop towns. We were particularly pleasantly suprised by the old town of Vence which was really charming and full of restaurants. Would definitely recommend both the area and the house. There are quite a lot of steps in the terrace/garden/pool area and also lots of lovely ornaments in the house so you need to be careful with young children on both counts!

Truly wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

As a family of 4 (2 adults 2 children), we would highly recommend this beautifully presented villa. On our arrival we found Villa L' Estelle in a very clean and immaculate condition. Everything is catered for, from essentials in the kitchen to a plentiful supply of fresh towels in the bathrooms - with many wonderful personal touches. The garden is very pretty and the pool glorious! It is by no means like your everyday standard self catering villa! It is set in a most beautiful and peaceful area just above the lovely town of Vence - within easy driving distance of many picturesque places - St Paul de Vence, Tourettes sur Loup, as well as cosmopolitan Nice and even over the border to Italy. The owners are most kind and accommodating and extremely attentive in their correspondence. We spent a truly wonderful time at Villa L'Estelle - it felt like our own home in France! If only....!!

Lovely week

  • 5 of 5

Six of us stayed here for one week. The house is lovely; bright, clean, spacious and with gorgeous views to mountains behind and the sea in the distance. It is very well equipped with linen, kitchen equipment, books and DVDs. The verandah is wonderful by day, and the sitting room very comfortable in the evening.

The pool is well situated and to our surprise was heated even in October.

We spent our week alternating between walking in the hills and mountains nearby (we got an excellent walking circuit book from Vence Tourisme), exploring the many lovely villages and towns, and lazing at the house. We also benefitted from wall to wall blue skies virtually all week.

Thank you.

Highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

A fabulously well-equipped house with an impressive garden and pool. Feels like you are staying in the comfort of someone`s home rather than in a holiday rental property. The house is within very easy driving reach of the lovely towns of Vence, St.Paul de Vence, Tourettes-sur-Loup etc. A comprehensive guide to the house and local area is provided by the owner, as are an extensive selection of books and dvds in case you are unlucky enough to encounter any rainy days. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at this property!
