The village was gorgeous - not very 'touristy' - with many very good restaurants. The daily market although small has everything you need. Great location for seeing the Eastern algarve - would definitely recommend this apartment!'

the owner Joyce really nice and helpful wen booking manager Maria and staffat the complex nothing to much if you need help while you are in cabanas they are always willing to help you. The apartment with its wrap around balconies and roof terrace are so nice , you have shade wen you want and sun all day if you want roof terrace is really nice. We made full use off the bbq as the fish and veg market and the butchers are so reasonable to wat you pay at home. we always go to the continente supermarket in tavira and get al the groceries the day we get there very reasonable .restaurants and cafes in cabanas are all really nice and the beach to die for. one euro 50 return each and the beach café is very cheaply priced. will definitely be back next year thank you Joyce xxx

A fantastic apartment

The apartment was clean and modern with plenty of space. Within a few minutes walk of the town, it's perfectly situated in Cabanas for the boats ti the beach, shops and restaurants.

Joyce's communication before our stay was excellent and we felt all our needs and transfers were in good hands.

The kitchen had everything we needed and the bottles of wine in the fridge was a beautiful welcome gift. The balcony and roof terrace were excellent. We couldn't have asked for more. Highly recommended!

Clean with lots of outside space

This was our second stay here, a rarity that we book the same place twice! As ever, the apartment was clean and well maintained. The outside space is fantastic and the location is very convenient

Throughout the booking process, Joyce was helpful and responsive so thank you. Maria looked after us very well and cheerfully. The lady who cleans the apartment does a wonderful job too!

perfect holiday apartment

This apartment is just as advertised, it's clean,very well maintained very well located with onsite pool and pool bar and just a short stroll to Cabanas where you will find lovely restaurants to suit all tastes .Maria met us as usual on arrival and was on hand should we need and help .We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this property

Paradise in Cabanas

The property was clean, comfortable , relaxing and ideally located. Used BBQ 4 times great facility. Lovely roof terrace and nice and quite so had great sleeps with the air conditioning being excellent.

Will definitely be visiting again love the place.

We love Cabanas because it is our piece of heaven, perfect for the most relaxing getaway from it all holiday. There is the most beautiful beach of lovely white sand that stretches for miles. 15 golf courses within a short drive. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Faro airport less than an 40 minutes drive away.

Special interest holidays:

There are 5 excellent golf courses within easy reach of the apartment making it more suitable than most for golfing holidays. Benamor (3 mins drive). 18 holes, Par 71, 5,500m. Colina Verde (20 mins drive). 9 holes, Par 3, 1,145m. Quinta da Ria (10 mins drive). 18 holes, Par 72, 6,110m. Quinta da Cima (10 mins drive). 18 holes, Par 72, 6,256m. Castro Marim (20 mins drive). 18 holes, Par 71, 5,265m. Recently opened is the Monte Rei Golf Club.


Beach is 300 yards away from the apartment (3 min walk). The white sandy beach is an island style beach that stretches for 6km. There are water taxis that ferry people across to the beach all day long.


Faro is the nearest airport and is approximately 30 km away. During peak season a taxi would cost about 50 euros. We would recommend a car but it is not essential. Railway: Conceição, 1km. Beach: Cabanas, 500 metres.


Costa De Cabanas is 300 yards from the 'island' beach, bars and restaurants in Cabanas. Tavira is closest town and is 4km away, another fishing town and has lots of restaurant and shops, as well as host of other amenities.

The property is just three minutes walk from the fabulous beach front where you get a water taxi to the beach. If you prefer we have a private roof terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day long and the pool is only 1 minute away. If you like to BBQ there is a BBQ on the terrace outside the kitchen and you can relax and watch the world go by. There is a fresh food market in the village only 3 minutes walk away each morning for all your needs. In the village there is a great selection of restaurants to suit all tastes where you will meet the locals and some of the friendliest people ever all willing to help make your holiday the best ever.   • Notes on accommodation: The apartment is very suitable for children and has a separate shared children's pool. The pool is a fresh salt water pool. The apartment also has air-conditioning in the living area and in the bedroom and there is parking directly outside our apartment. Coffee shop open April to Oct with free WiFi. There is a safe in the apartment and an alarm system and a hairdyrer. Please remember to take out holiday insurance.
