Fabulous Week

  • 5 of 5

We were made so welcome by Francesca and Gloria. Francesca was amazing at helpfully answering my emailed queries in her perfect english before we arrived. The villa itself was very spacious and well equipped with everything we needed. They even supplied plug-in mosquito repellent! The pool and setting are beautiful, so quiet and relaxing.

You need a hire car to get around but that is easy enough. If you park in the free parking at Montevarchi is just 40 minutes to Florence by train- much easier than driving and parking. The supermarkets nearby are excellent and there is a restaurant in walking distance though i admit, we never felt the need to go.

We used a good insect repellant in the evening as there were mosquitos but not that bad., when you are by trees and water you have to expect that. There were 2 other families staying which was great and kept our young kids amused. The pool is wonderful, big enough to swim lengths but not too deep for my 8 year old. And there were pletny of loungers and deck chairs for every one.

I should also mention (though sorry to) the wifi was excellent!!

Owner's Response: I know that the ladies are disappointed with the WIFI ..... Sorry but it is fast and covers the apartments and the outside !!!!! I must remember to give the password to the mothers only ! Insect can be annoying, I know, I dislike them either, but in the farmacies there are good repellents, traditional or herbal that work very well and for the evening .... citronella candles. I am sure that whoever lives in the country knows it.

Absolutely Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

We arrived at the Mulino do Rimaggio at about 22.00 on Sunday after our GPS taking us in completely the wrong direction, Francesca was kind enough to keep in touch with us and assist us in finding the place and Gloria was there on our arrival (she waited till way past check in) and showed us around. They had stocked the little fridge with milk and the cupboard with coffee, biscuits and fresh bread. It was these personal touches that really made us feel welcome! Francesca and Gloria were kind enough to give us a few tips of places to go and see and we couldnt have been happier with all the beautiful towns we visited!

The property itself was immaculate and kept and in a fantastic condition, it was spacious and traditionally decorated, we had a stunning outside area with a view of the forest and stream which we spent every night BBQing!! During the afternoons we would spend out time lazing by the stunning pool which got full sun all day and was so refreshing in the heat!

Our stay at the Muline di Rimmagio was amazing and we couldnt have asked for a more friendly, beautiful place to spend our week in Italy!

Thank you so much!!!

Owner's Response: We consider ourselves so lucky to live in fantastic area that we are always happy give our guests the right tips to visit the territory and enjoy the real taste of our country. Our appartments are decorated in a traditional Tuscan style with family fornitures and objects. The cleaning of the interior and the exterior is very important for us and we only use professional housekeepers. We also dedicate a particular attention to the swimming pool and the quality of its water. Its care is a task that we do ourselves as we want it to be always in perfect condition.
