AquaMar Apartments lie within Vilamoura's Marina, beside the long and sandy Falesia beach. These are quality finished apartments. Features include a fully equipped designer kitchen, bathroom suite with Jacuzzi bath, air conditioning in each room, security alarm system, video entry phone, electric blinds, elevator, large balcony, underground parking, and swimming pools surrounded by extensive lawns in a secure area.

The neighbouring area offers a wide variety of sport and leisure activities such as numerous golf courses, a range of water sports, sea cruises, tennis and horse riding, numerous restaurants, bars, shops, casino, cinema, and nightspots.

The two bedroom (one double and one twin) and two bathroom apartment is a fully air-conditioned first floor apartment, overlooking the quieter end of the Marina. The apartment itself is furnished to the highest standards and includes washing machine, dishwasher, cooker/hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and TV/DVD.

About Pauline McGovern

My wife and I are two professionals. We are both in full time employment in Ireland. We have three children, one is a doctor and the other two are university students.

We visited Vilamoura, at first, on a holiday and really fell for the wonderful range of leisure facilities, restaurants and bars in this resort. We were also impressed by the cleanliness and care and attention which is evident throughout Vilamoura. The apartment itself is so convenient to everything that transport is unnecessary.

Why Pauline McGovern chose Loule region

The Vilamoura resort attracts a very nice clientele, there is none of the lager-loutish element which is so evident in many other resorts. It has a vast range of facilities and activities to offer all age groups ranging from golf to watersports.

The weather is beautiful--not extremely hot and still sunshine everyday. English is very widely spoken which is a bonus as we are not fluent Portuguese speakers although we do try to use Portuguese, as a mark of respect to our hosts.

What makes this apartment unique

We particularly enjoy strolling along the large marina every evening. Our property is adjacent to the Marina. The marina is continuously full of yachts and cruisers of all descriptions. It has shops, restaurants, bars, everything! We also love the beach, the golf, the weather and the people who are so obliging, helpful and welcoming.

AMAZING

This is our second time at this apartment . It never fails to impress. All you could ask for and more .

Apartment well equipped , perfect location .

Close to Marina and beach .

So many changes in the resort in just 12 months .

Gets better every visit .

We will definitely be returning .

Pauline , the owner is always quick to respond . She will even arrange the transfers if needed .

Superb apartment!

A really brilliant apartment in all ways, beautifully equipped and extremely spacious. The location is fantastic if like us, you didn't want to hire a car, a couple of minutes walk to the marina. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and pool area lovely and quiet. Thank you very much Pauline, we will be recommending to all our friends and will definitely be returning again soon!

Great place to stay

My girlfriend and I stayed here late March / early April 2017.

The apartment is in a great location, within a few minutes walk of the marina (where all the restaurants etc are) and the beach.

There was plenty of space for parking and you could park right outside of the apartment (handy for us as we golf bags to carry from the car each day).

The apartment itself was very spacious, nicely decorated and equipped with the all the things you'd expect to have in an apartment for a weeks holiday.

Would happily stay here again.

Fantastic modern flat just behind Marina

Great flat in fantastic location.Stayed twice previously last being in October 2016.Great service from start to finish with booking process.Flat is two bed with 2 bathroom on 1st floor of block.24 hour security on sight which gives added reassurance.Pool area is small which is ideal and well looked after.This is genuinly the smartest most modern accomodatioon you will stay in,like a penthouse with Porcelanosa bathrooms and jacuzzi shower and bath.Great location just behind marina.

perfect apartment.

we stayed early March and although resort was pretty quiet we really enjoyed ourselves. the apartment is quality throughout. less than 2 minutes to marina. if you are on a tight budget i suggest going back a street or two from marina for restaurants and bars.apartment has 24 hour reception who are very helpful if required (taxi etc). would suggest that anyone thinking of going to Vilamoura you won't beat this. must also say Pauline was great to deal with. any queries answered promptly and we will certainly be back to stay in this superb apartment.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

The wonderful Falesia beach is 5 mins walk from the complex and contains activities for all the family, including jet-skiing, surfing, para-gliding, or simply lounging in the sun. There are numerous cruises from the Marina to encompass the most diverse interests, such as fishing, sightseeing, diving etc.

Travel:

Faro airport is an easy 25 minute drive along the N125 or via the IP1 motorway. The local town of Loule (a beautiful market town) is about 10 Km north of Vilamoura. The popular tourist town of Albufeira is approximately 30 minutes west along the N125.

Car hire is not necessary as the apartment is convenient to all amenities without any long, energy sapping walks in the Mediterranean sun. Taxi's are easily and cheaply acquired for trips to the golf courses which are only a few minutes away.

Distances:

If you do happen to have a car(or even hire one for a day), there are endless places of interest within easy reach of Vilamoura. You could travel east to the historic town of Tavira (47kms) and further on to the Spanish border (70Kms) and Seville. Even Lisbon (240Kms), the capital is accessible for a day's outing, as the roads are fantastic.

Further Details:

Vilamoura is a purpose built resort dominated by an impressive marina that has scores of quality restaurants, hotels and shops. Supermarkets and banks are also easily accessed in Vilamoura.

Golf academies are in abundance within easy reach by taxi and hypermarkets (giant shopping markets) are within a half hours drive.

Booking Notes:
25% deposit required on booking. Balance is payable 8 weeks prior to travel in addition to a 200 euros refundable breakage deposit. Rates are quoted in euro but Sterling quotations can be provided if requested. Strictly no pets allowed. Potential clients are obliged to inform the owner of all persons who will be residing in the apartment during their stay. Breach of this regulation may result in immediate cancellation, with loss of all monies paid.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible but prefer Saturdays in peak season.

Notes on prices:
Prices are per week in euro and do not include refundable deposit. Prices may be given in UK pounds or any other currency and will approximate to the current exchange rate. The prices given above, will reduce proportionately as sterling increases in value.

A booking deposit of 25% is required immediately. The balance is required 8 weeks prior to start of holiday. The booking deposit is non-refundable.

A security deposit of 200 EURO ​is payable with the balance of payment. This amount is fully refundable provided the apartment and all its contents are in good condition, when it is vacated.
