Close to Moraira, Casa Serena is a superbly situated apartment in an area of outstanding natural beauty (bordering La Grenadella National Park), on Cumbre Del Sol (Summit of the Sun). The panoramic 180 degree views of the coastline and the sea from the large sunny terrace are breathtaking. The apartment has shared use of 2 infinity pools. There is a large, very high quality supermarket with fresh meat and vegetables on offer – all only 5 mins away in the development. Playa del Moraig - 5 mins away at the foot of Cumbre is a picturesque cove with a car park, beach bar and sunbeds/parasols for hire (in the summer). Cumbre Del Sol is perfectly situated for access to the best resorts on the Costa Blanca, being within 10 mins drive of the lovely fishing village of Moraira with its beautiful blue flag sandy beaches, and a short drive from the towns of Calpe, Javea and Denia. Just inland from Cumbre are many picturesque villages and landscapes.

Hi, We are a newly retired British couple living near London, England. We have 4 grown up children and 4 small grandchildren who love visiting the clean, safe, sandy beaches do of Moraira. We love our apartment in Moraira with its fantastic sea views and are keen to share it with others when we are not using it ourselves.

We pride ourselves on having created a very comfortable, well equipped apartment with modern furnishings and equipment as well as lots of xtras such as beach chairs, umbrellas and cool bags which add to your holiday enjoyment.

We love visiting ourselves and the gently shelving, sandy beaches with their beach cafes are just the place to wind down with our children and lively grandson Max.

Why sonja henderson chose Benitachell / El Poble Nou de Benitatxell

While visiting the area, with no real intention of buying, we were shown an apartment in Vistamar. More were planned next door and on seeing the fantastic view from the patio we made a sudden decision to buy one off plan. We have never regretted this and still gaze in awe at the panorama of the coastline from our vantage point high on the hill.

Cumbre del Sol is nicely out of town, is quiet and private, yet only 10-15 minutes from Moraira centre. Moraira provides everything that we need, has supermarkets, lovely beaches and promenades and dozens of restaurants but has no rowdy or tacky parts at all.

The little beach at El Portet is fantastic to relax on and a perfect bay for toddlers.

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment is a compact, exceptionally well-designed unit giving plenty of lounge and patio space and a large bathroom.

Easy access from the parking spot involves only one flight of stairs and after that everything is on the level. Both bedrooms have access to the patio without disturbing the late sleepers next door.

Notes on accommodation: Air conditioning units are fitted in the living room and the main bedroom and a heater/cold air blower in the second bedroom. Sorry, but Casa Serena is a non-smoking apartment and no pets are allowed. Outside: Both the living room and main bedroom have patio doors opening onto the large terrace furnished with a patio table and chairs, parasol and 2 sun loungers. Within 100 metres of the apartment is a private, gated communal swimming pool complex with 2 infinity pools, sun loungers and a shower for the exclusive use of residents and their guests. Utility Room: A washing machine with tumble dryer is provided together with an iron, ironing board and cleaning equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, towels and beach towels are supplied - the property will be cleaned prior to each rental. Other: As an added extra we provide a cool box and cool bags, 4 beach chairs, beach towels and beach umbrellas for guests to make use of. A welcome pack of essentials, tea, coffee etc is also provided.

Breathtaking balcony views, in a peaceful setting.

The owners gave us detailed descriptions of location and facilities in the apartment, with a file of good information of places of interest in the surrounding area.

Clean and well maintained property, tastefully furnished, well equipped kitchen/diner, large immaculate bathroom, and every amenity you need. Fabulous sun terrace for outdoor eating.

Good Supermarkets conveniently close. Within short easy drive to the lovely town of Moraira, very safe, spotlessly clean, with a wealth of shops, pleasant promenade, marina and beautiful sandy beach with play facilities for children. Numerous restaurants with wide choice of price ranges,bars, cafes, ice cream vendors.

Follow the owners instructions for a short cut to the gorgeous bay of El Portet, our favourite spot. Ideal for families, safe swimming and a sandy beach swept clean every day. Beach restaurants serving excellent seafood.

Bigger town of Calpe also well worth a visit, watch the fishing boats come in and enjoy the large fish market, climb up the large Calpe rock with amazing views of the coastline. Discovered a newly finished coastal ecological walk, following the cliff tops, worth doing with beach bars or cafe stops enroute.

Highly recommend this property. It's of a high standard and located in an unspoilt, peaceful, safe part of the Costa Blanca, ideal for couples and families. With plenty to do in surrounding area if you want to drive a little further afield, all details in the owners files left in the apartment.

Lovely apartment, great location, stunning views!

This is a very well presented apartment located in a relaxed community with two communal infinity pools and is only a 10 minute drive from the beautiful town of Moraira.

We are a family of 3 and found the apartment more than adequate to accommodate us all extremely comfortably with a bed to spare.

The owners kindly provide towels, chairs, wind breaks and games for the beach as well as games, books and DVDs in the apartment which were invaluable.

The first thing you notice is the stunning view which doesn't cease to amaze during the entire holiday.

This is the perfect location to explore the beautiful towns, surrounding countryside and many local beaches and activities. There is easy access to Moraira or Javea where you can enjoy the local cuisine in one of their many wonderful restaurants.

This is the perfect location for a relaxed holiday with the chance to experience a taste of real Spain.

We hope we will be able to return soon for another relaxed holiday in this lovely apartment.

Casa Serena summer stay

We had a fantastic family holiday at Casa Serena. The apartment was well equipped, with everything we needed, including beach toys for the kids. The views were amazing from the terrace making alfresco dining beautiful and a perfect spot for a relaxing glass of wine once the children were in bed! Whilst a car was essential, it gave us the ability to explore the area. We found lots of child friendly places to go just a few minutes drive from the apartment, for example: the communal pool was fun and friendly. We also went for some great day trips out in the surrounding towns/areas. We also had simple fun on the beaches in Moraira, Javea and El Portet ... We couldn't have wished for a better holiday with a young family, our only regret was that we didn't book an extra week! Thanks so much Sonja and Alan!

Fantasic property with stunning views

Me and my girlfriend used the apartment for 7 days, we had a brilliant holiday and the apartment made it what it was. Very comfortable living space could easily sleep 4 comfortably balcony had stunning views and all the niceties were there. Apon arrival the apartment was clean tidy ready for us, a welcome pack of bread water butter and a few other bits had been supplied which was great! Lovely apartment, nice owners to deal with throughout rental cant wait to stay again!

5 mins drive - Playa del Moraig at the foot of Cumbre has a car park, beach bar, toilet facilities and sunbeds/parasols for hire (in the summer).

10 mins drive - Moraira with its Blue flag beaches. L'Ampolla, is a large safe sandy beach with a play area and restaurants. El Portet beach, in a quiet sheltered bay has safe swimming, a gently sloping seabed ideal for little ones and a two really good beachside restaurants. 15 mins drive - Javea, the safe, sandy cove of L'Arenal beach.


Alicante airport is approx an hour away (85 km).

Valencia airport is approx an hour and a quarter (100km).

Car hire is essential if you are to make the most of your holiday.


Cala Moraig beach - 5 minutes.

Banks, supermarket, cafes, bars and small shops - 5 minutes.

Moraira town centre with safe soft sand beaches and handy parking, lots of restaurants and bars, yacht and fishing harbours- 10 minutes.

Calpe with the Penon Ifach walks and views, an interesting fishing harbour, fish auction and harbour seafood restaurants -20 mins

Javea beach and restaurants - 15 mins.

Denia, with long beaches and harbour/port with ferries to Ibiza - 25 minutes.

Cumbre Del Sol has all essential services within 5 minutes drive from Casa Serena - banks, supermarket, hardware store, newsagents, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Cala Moraig beach is a very sheltered beautiful cove within Cumbre Del Sol.

Only 10 mins away is the lovely small town of Moraira. This quiet and peaceful fishing village has become a busy yet pleasant resort, which can perhaps best be summarised by what it doesn't have. There are no highrises, no large hotels, no package tours and no large and noisy nightclubs. It is simply a small yet active town with many shops, restaurants and bars, surrounded by whitewashed villas nestling on the tree-covered hillsides. It has a multi-national resident population and therefore remains lively throughout the year. Its popularity can be judged by the very large number of visitors who return year after year.

Our prices are all inclusive of cleaning charges.
A £200 deposit (per week booked) is required at the time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before the start date of the booking together with a loss/damage payment of £150 (The £150 fee will be returned to you 14 days after your return providing a check of the apartment is satisfactory and all keys are returned). Sorry but pets and smoking are not allowed. The apartment is most suitable for couples and families.

Changeover Day: The apartment will be available after 3pm and should be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
