The Coachman is set in a prime location in the heart of old East Looe, nestled away in Looe's quaint backstreets and less than a minutes walk to the safe, sandy beach, harbour, coastal path, traditional pubs and award-winning restaurants. Crafted from local slate and stone, The Coachman provides a spacious family home perfect for summer or winter. Original features include exposed beams, decorative floor tiles and wood burning stove. The open plan design is ideal for family and friends to enjoy sociable evenings around the huge dining table, relax in front of the delightful wood-burner with a roaring fire and watch a movie or sit outside the French doors and watch the world go by with a glass of wine in the pedestrian walkways. Upstairs are 5 spacious bedrooms and 2 luxury bath/shower rooms.

The property was spacious especially the bedrooms, more than enough for a party of 10

Close to the beach and a short walk to the town centre

Kitchen well equipped but a bit small, dishwasher good takes a large load, good sharp kitchen knives

Showers need new seals and the property could do with a deep clean

Daves for best fish and chips, mackerel fishing good value for money

Crabbing a must.

Local shops very good excellent service from very friendly people who could not do enough for you.

Cake shop great brought birthday cake excellent

Zip wire in Liskeard brilliant

Eden project a must visit for families

Special interest holidays:

Looe has a National shark fishing centre with boats available for charter. Looe also has its own sailing club and is host to various regattas throughout the year. The Eden Project is approx 30 min drive. Direct walking access on to the South West Coastal path.

Coast/Beach:

The Coachman is less than 1 min walk away from the safe, golden sandy beach and the Cornish coastal path. The beach has many rock pools to explore and activities on the beach in high season. The picturesque quayside and harbour is also only a mins walk.

Travel:

Nearest airport Plymouth 25 miles. Nearest Port Plymouth 20 miles. Looe train station is a 10 min walk from the cottage and links Looe to Liskeard (and the National network) via a lovely picturesque railway running along the river. Pay and display car parking is available (approx. £29 per week) at the Millpond Car Park (5-7 minute walk) with luggage drop off at the property on arrival and departure or any other time.

Distances:

The Eden Project, the amazing and successful attraction near St. Austell. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, these wonderful and diverse gardens lost after the First World War were rediscovered and restored to their former glory. Further Details:

Looe town centre is less than one minutes walk and has a large variety of local shops, fresh fish market, boutiques, supermarket, greengrocers, Post Office, restaurants, cafes, traditional pubs and a Tourist Office. Various high street banks can be found. The cottage contains a wide range of tourist information and leaflets for days out and other leisure activities. Various traditional pubs and restaurants 0.5 mins.

When making an enquiry for availability please give desired arrival and departure dates, number of adults and children staying, a telephone contact number and email address. When you wish to proceed a booking form will be emailed or posted as required. A deposit of £250 is due with the returned booking form. The remainder of the balance is required 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover in high season. Changeover is flexible at other times subject to availability.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds.
Off peak short breaks available from November to March.
£250.00 deposit required to secure booking, with remaining balance due 8 weeks prior to holiday start date.
Refundable damage deposit of £150.00 required.
