Notes on accommodation: The apartment is air-conditioned. The resort benefits from exclusive on-site facilities comprising of three communal swimming pools, a tennis court. It is only a 4 minute stroll to 2 of the Algarve's most beautiful blue flag beaches. Praia Nossa Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova.It is only a 10 minute car journey to local water park.It is a 20 minute drive to the Famous Zoo Marine with all its attractions.Shopping at the Algarve shopping complex is only a 25 minute drive away. Outside: The gardens are lovely with plenty of patio areas which are all secure. There is secure allocated underground parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels are provided. Beach towels are provided for use on the beach or pool areas. Maid service is available on request at an additional charge. Other: The lounge terrace benefits from outdoor furniture. Here you can enjoy sun bathing and enjoy alfresco dining. The apartment has full air-conditioning through out. Games, books, DVDs and information pack are provided.

We had the pleasure of staying here for nearly 3 weeks in August 2014 and it was amazing. The apartment is lovely and fully equipped with everything needed for your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and had every utensils that you would need. Well located, a walk to the beach also Lords Bar is lovely for a drink and the restaurant there serves lovely food. We hired a car but you don't necessarily need one as there is a supermarket a short walk from the apartments. There is beautiful sea views from the apartment balcony. The swimming pool and the children's pool area was good.

Special interest holidays:

Besides the obvious practice of nautical sports, due to its geographic location, such as snorkelling, sailing, surfing, sea fishing and others, Algarve's beaches are perfect for jogging or even for a calm and quiet walk.

Cycling trough out the region is a relaxing practice due to the plane terrain.

Historical monuments going back to the roots of Roman and Moorish culture;

Testimonies of the glorious past when bold sailors started from there to discover far continents;

Breathtaking cliffs at the coast of the Atlantic Ocean with hidden creeks;

Peaceful countryside in the mountains still almost untouched by tourists;

Neolithic and Calcolithic Graves and Settlements at Alcalar;

Coast/Beach:

A 4 minute stroll to 2 of the Algarve's most beautiful blue flag beaches. Praia Nossa Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova. 10 minute car journey to the Algarve's largest water park, Aqualand.

Travel:

Areias de Porches Resort is located in the heart of the Algarve with good access to the A22 motorway and the EN125 national road network, Faro International Airport is only 40 minutes away. Car hire available from the airport. Shuttle bus operates from airport to the resort, during the summer month on request. There is an additional charge for this service.Transfers can be arranged too.

Distances:

Faro Airport 40 minute drive. Armacao de Pera 5 minute drive, lively resort. Albufeira 15 minute drive, lively resort and old fishing town. Vilamoura 25 minute drive, large marina, lively resort, golf. Golf courses 5 within a 15 minute drive. Waterpark 10 minute drive. Multi screen cinema 15 minute drive.

Further Details:

Two supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. Amarcao de Pera and Albufeira both offer a wide selection of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment. A welcome pack can be provided on request at a reasonable cost. The basic pack will include, local bread, milk, butter, conserve, tea, coffee, bottled water, bottle of local wine. Packs can be taylored to meet the individuals need.

Changeover Day:
If next booking does not arrive on the same day as the vacating guests,then leaving later is ok to make your home ward journey more comfortable. However if the next guest is due that day we would require the apartment empty before 11am.

  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
