La Maison Rose is located at the northern edge of Régusse, near to Aups, in the heart of the beautiful department of the Var, close to Lac de Ste.-Croix and the gorges of the Verdon river.

The house is set on a large site (3,198 sq.m. /0.8 acre) of wooded land, gated and fenced. The house is spacious, cool in summer with cool air ventilation and shutters, and tiled throughout.

Large, bright living room with dining area. Internet & Smart TV. Well-equipped kitchen. One downstairs double bedroom, with en-suite facilities and three bedrooms upstairs. Upstairs bathroom. Two separate toilets – one on each floor.

Notes on accommodation: The house is set back from the road, 50m up an easily accessible lane-way in a peaceful location. The house has the benefit of ceiling air extractors and wall insulation which keep the house cool and fresh in summer. Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detector. The pool conforms to French law, having a safety alarm.

Outside: Large woodland garden and large patio - suitable for playing many types of games. Facilities include a barbecue, sun loungers with cushions, several parasols, two large wooden tables each of which seats 8 persons, and a separate round metal table and chairs. The pool area is bordered by a high hedge for privacy when sunbathing. The garage accommodates a washing machine.

Price includes:

(a) Meeting upon arrival with our local manager to obtain keys and be shown the premises

(b) The provision of bed linen, towels, water, electricity and weekly pool maintenance by a professional maintenance company

(c) Final cleaning (the house to be left in a ‘clean pots & crockery’ condition)

Why Philip chose Régusse

We fell in love with the area many years ago and have owned this house since 2004.

We intend one day to retire here but in the meantime we would like to share the experience with you.

We are set on the outskirts of the small village of Regusse near to Moissac Bellvue which is a delightful hill village. Regusse is just down the road to Aups which is the Center of Culture for the region

Nearby is the massive Lac St. Croix and of course not only are we in Provence Cote d'Azur but we are also in the Parc Du Verdon

One hour from the busle of the coast - spend a day there - get the boat from St. Mazime to St. Tropez and avoid the roads.

We had an amazing stay at this Villa. All our expectations were met. Phil the owner was great at keeping in touch both prior and during our stay. Did many of the trips to previous guests but thought TourTour was the best village in the area less tourist than Moistiers

Other: Our Villa is wheelchair friendly with ramp and wide doors to allow access to the entrance and downstairs toilet. We chose this Villa as we wanted to be near Lac St Croix. We were not disappointed. The Villa was exceptionally well maintained and full of everything we needed to enjoy a stress free holiday. The owner, Philip, was very attentive in dealing with any requests and Ray who was our local contact was excellent. All in all an enjoyable rest. The village is also very charming. We will return !

Regusse village is 5 minutes drive.

St. Maxime on the coast is approx. one hour and a half hours drive.

Nice is 78 miles away Cannes and St. Tropez being nearer.

Travel:

Marseille, Toulon and Nice are approx the same distance. This is roughly 78 miles. From Nice or Marseilles it takes approx. one and half hours driving time.

Cars can be hired at very good prices at the airports

Aix en Provence within an hour for a visit to the Museums and art galleries
