I just wanted to say thank you for allowing Nicholas and I to stay at your Seascape apartment. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful views from the balcony and the location right on the beach, yet so close to all the shops and restaurants. It was so nice to meet you and i’m sorry we didn’t spend longer chatting.

We would both love to come again sometime however Nicholas is nearly always away on business which makes things a bit difficult. He was in South Africa two days before we came and is now in Dubai so it was nice spending sometime with him. I might have to bring his twin sister next time as she was rather jellous of our trip.

I hope we left the apartment clean and tidy. Thank you for allowing us to stay a few extra hours which gave us time for a last paddle board and swim in the wonderful sea and the pool.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is fully air-conditioned throughout with ceiling fans in all rooms. The apartment is a non smoking apartment. Outside: St Lawrence Beach condominiums have a large swimming pool, for exclusive use by guests, as well as a secluded beach, accessible only through the development and a unique private jetty, which is ideal for sunbathing, relaxing or fishing. Larger, serviced beaches are within a short walking distance. Fishing rods, reels and coolers and BBQ grill are provided for guests on request. Utility Room: There is a washer/dryer in the kitchen. There are also shared laundry facilities for bulky items in the ground floor laundry room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned every third day. Bath and beach towels and linens are included. Other: Dining for 4 people.

Loved our stay here. Unfortunately due to work commitments, hurricane. Tropical storm and cancelled flights my sisters were unable to come. The owner was brilliant in accommodating changes in dates. September/October hurricane season. There are many homely touches within the condo but unfortunately bowls with pot pourri collect vast amounts of dust which require attention. The second bedroom has no sea view or television and noises from local hotels can be loud at times sometimes to early hours of the morning. Security is great. Some sun beds are very old and tatty. Large patches of rust on floor of sunbed area. Worker cleaning around us, using noisy equipment every morning while we were trying to soak up the sun and relax. Photographs show a cover at pool area but this was not there, however we did have umbrellas. Hairdryer didn't work. 1 adapter had been left, pins were loose and this also didn't work. No welcome pack of any goods left, in refrigerator, jug with tap water only. I was delayed in arriving and the meet and greet was very cool, not welcoming. On the whole we had a great stay, loved Barbados but wouldn't pay the money charged to stay here again.

Barbados Stay at Seaview at St. Lawreance Gap

Our trip was on April 25th, 2016 until April 29th, 2016 overall experience was really great! Monica was on time waiting on our arrival at the condo. She gave us the information of how things work in the apartment and briefly gave us some insight of how things work at St. Laurence Gap. The owner of the condo was also great because she sent all the information via email before we arrived of places to eat and who to contact if we wanted to explore the Island and go on excursions. The only thing that would be great is if someone would go and clean at least every 2-3 days. We were there for 4 nights and 5 days and we did not receive any housekeeping. Another thing is that we were not alerted that during the day St. Laurence gap is a ghost town and that most restaurants open in the evening or late afternoon and we found ourselves walking for an hour trying to find something to eat at 2 in the afternoon. However I would recommend this condo because it is safe and the staff is welcoming. Additionally the condo is close to everything including taxis and local buses.

The development has its own private beach. Alternatively Dover or Sandy beaches, which are fully serviced and have all water sports facilities, are a short stroll away.

Book the BBQ on Sunday at Crystal Waters Beach Bar situated on Sandy Beach and listen to music on the beach until dusk. Or take a picnic in a cooler!


Grantley-Adams airport is a 15 minute drive. Use of car is not necessary as the apartment is centrally located. However for site-seeing public transport is very cheap and very comprehensive throughout the island. Taxis are also widely available.


It is well worth going on a safari around the island and in addition exploring by car is both an adventure and fun. The island is so small you cannot get lost. Go to both South Point and North Point to see both ends of the island and see the differences the island has to offer. Bathsheba on the East Coast is particularly wild and in stark contrast to the tranquility of the West Coast and it's beaches.

Further Details:

Within walking distance of Cafe Sol, a great mexican restaurant and cocktail bar. Pisces is just around the corner, dine on a jetty and look at for turtles whilst you dine. Oistins "Fish Fry" on Friday night is an absolute must! Catch the bus or 15 minutes in a taxi. After dining, listen to the Reggae music or try dancing to music from the 60s at Lexies on the beach - heaven!

A deposit of £250/$400 is required to secure the booking. Payment of the final balance is due eight weeks prior to the arrival date, together with a refundable security deposit of £250/$400. This is returned in full 21 days after departure if there are no reported losses/breakages.
