This townhouse is situated on a quiet complex with beautiful landscaped gardens over looking Cabopino golf course. It is just 500 metres from the port of Cabopino which has one of the best beaches on the Costa del Sol. As the owners spend a lot of time at the property they have chosen high quality fixtures and furnishings such as top of the range air-conditioning and heating system (replaced in 2015 to a new very modern, efficient system), marble floors throughout, high quality furniture and designer made curtains. The luxury kitchen includes granite worktops, modern advanced appliances and increased cupboard space. The owner has recently installed fibre optic to the house which means high speed TV with many English channels available as well as others eg: Spanish, French, German, USA etc

About Kay

As a Managing Director of a software and services company I really wanted a home from home when I bought this house in Cabopino. I work very hard and wanted a quality place I could visit for weekends or for a long holiday and be able to relax and unwind very quickly. It was also important that the house had all of the gadgets we have at home including internet access (optional extra) so that we could keep in touch and if really necessary be able to work from here. We achieved all of this and then my company seconded me to run their USA organisation as President for North America. This means we spend most of our time in Florida now but we do miss get back to our house in Spain regularly and ensure it continues to be maintained to the highest standards.

Why Kay chose Marbella

As we began viewing properties in Marbella we saw all the usual tourist spots but had not heard of Cabopino. The estate agent accompanying us dropped us at this beautiful port as, unusually, she had a appointment at lunchtime so a sheer fluke! As we drove into the port we both lit up. It is beautiful going down the hill, seeing the quaint typically Spanish buildings and then coming into the port and seeing all the boats, the bars and restaurants and of course one of the best beaches in the area. We had lunch at one of the 'churringitos' (beach bar) and decided this was the place for us. The task then began to find a suitable place. As we toured Cabopino we saw signs for a new development of modern houses (as opposed to apts) we loved the artist impression and made an offer. Fantastic!

What makes this house unique

We love the fact that we can walk into the port and take full advantage of the beach, bars and restaurants. Because we have a house as opposed to an appt we have 3 fantastic terraces which means we get the sun all day. Great if you don't want to venture too far and still enjoy the sun. The front terrace is fantastic for breakfast, the rear terrace for lunch & dinner and the roof terrace for lazing on the sunbeds in the full sun. We also provide all of the modern gadgets including flat screen TV, English TV channels (subject to internet), quality hifi and for those who need to work or want to keep in touch back home, access to the internet (small charge). If necessary we can also provide a phone line (small charge). There are lots of books and games too so something for everyone.

We would thoroughly recommend staying at this luxury townhouse. Great location, with a short walk to the beach, and there's plenty of good restaurants too. Notes on accommodation: This is a non smoking property. It is maintained by a local, English speaking management company. The company can also provide a welcome food pack, cot or high chair for a small additional charge. Wi-Fi access to the internet is available at an additional charge. The basement has been converted to include an additional lounge, third bedroom and bathroom. If booked as a 2 bed this will be locked off. Outside: This house has 3 terraces: Ground Floor Front Patio - Furnished with a beautiful mosaic table, the front patio is very sunny in the morning and great for breakfast al fresco! Ground Floor Rear Patio - Another sturdy mosaic table, a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking and a 'toldos' for those who like some shade! Roof Sun Terrace - A private terrace that is great for sunbathing with four sun loungers and a cold shower if you really need to cool down! It also has fantastic sea views, on clear days (of which there are many) you can see Gibraltar! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen included (not beach towels) and laundered weekly. Mid stay cleaning included for 2 week (or longer) bookings. Beautiful holiday home - highly recommended

The property is situated in a lovely quiet area with great views. It is very comfortable & beautifully appointed with new kitchen & bathrooms since our last visit. Everything is to hand & easy to use. Swimming pools just a few steps away. General shop & garage close by. Short drive or walk to beautiful Cabopino beach & restaurants. Only 15 mins to Marbella town & 30 to Malaga airport. 2 outdoor eating spaces - plenty room for a family or friends. The roof terrace is a great sun spot with comfy sun beds. We certainly hope to return in the near future. Thank you. Steve & Trish

we had a wonderful stay, very clean, modern, and close to everything we needed. This was a last minute booking for us and i must say the owner did everything she could to accomodate us and the management company was also very helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone. We had a great time.

A great stay

A lovely weeklong stay. The house is really well equipped and in a great location. We ate a couple of nights. I can thoroughly recommend da Bruno's and la dispense in the lovely port of Capobino. We really only used the house as a base to explore the area. It was immaculate on arrival. The house is well laid out and the sun terrace on the roof a real bonus. Kay ,the owner was very good to deal with and answered all our questions promptly. Overall an excellent weeks stay.

Exceptional accommodation

Exceptional self-catering accommodation with everything supplied to enjoy your holiday even down to the minor detail of reusable corks if you want to re-cork your Cava !!! .

The town house is on an impressive complex with well-maintained gardens and the choice of two pools. There are three terraces to enjoy the sunshine so you can literally catch the sun from it rising to setting.

We normally eat out on holiday but the town house was so well equipped we actually cooked on a number of occasions utilising both the kitchen and quality barbecue

There is a bar and Pizzeria literally one minute’ walk from your door and an excellent restaurant Da Bruno a further five minute walk which has a playground for the younger ones.

Cabopino port and beach is a fifteen minute walk down a slight hill where you will also find a good choice of bars and restaurants

Cabopino itself is well situated and both Marbella and Fuengirola can be reached by car in approx. 15 minutes whilst Malaga airport is only 30 minutes.

The owner Kay was very responsive when booking and also with a minor problem we had whilst there.

We have booked through this website on many occasions and this was by far the best accommodation we have stayed in.

I would thoroughly recommend for both families and couples.

Lovely property, very comfortable and equipped

The property was very comfortable and great for our needs. We are a family of 4 and the kids are 10 and 14. We also hired the basement which was great for the teenager! This allowed us to have plenty of room. The basement area was very comfortable. All the beds were comfortable and the English TV's kept the kids happy! I cooked several times and the kitchen was well equipped. We could walk to Cabopino beach. The wifi worked very well.

The cleaners were great and were very efficient. I would love to come back here! The owner was very responsive and very nice. Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

Coast/Beach:

Cabopino beach is only 500 meters from our house (less than 10 minutes walk). The main beach is next to Cabopino port. You can relax on a sunbed (small daily charge) enjoying the great weather and the scenic views. If you are more active then you will no doubt enjoy the water sports (seasonal), or you can spend your time in the friendly "chiringitos" (beach bars)!

Travel:

Malaga Airport is 30 minute drive. You can also fly into Gibraltar which is then a 1 hour drive. Car hire recommended, although we have had a number of guests stay without a car. Airport transfers can be arranged at additional cost.

Distances:

Marbella is a 10 min drive. Puerto Banus 15 min drive. Mijas 30 min drive - Ronda 1 hour drive. Gibraltar 1 hour drive. Granada 2 hour drive. Seville 2 hour drive

Further Details:

Shopping: Two minute walk to a small shop that supplies essentials (milk, bread, etc.) Five minute walk to local garage for fresh baked bread, wine and some groceries There are several supermarkets and banks 10 minutes drive (or a short bus ride away).

Restaurants: Two minute walk to Pizza restaurant with bar and selection of other food. Five minute walk to Italian restaurant. Cabopino port has a great variety of restaurants with some of the best food and views in the area.

Bars - In addition to beach bars, there are many bars in the Cabopino plaza on the north side of the port. Our regular haunt is Jorges which does a great happy hour. For night-owls there is also a night club!
