Set within an exclusive development of private villas in Son Toni, close to Pollenca Golf Course. This traditional villa has open and uninterrupted views of the Majorcan countryside but is still within 5 minutes drive of the old town of Pollenca and a 10 minute drive to the beaches of Puerto Pollenca and Puerto Alcudia. Large private swimming pool on large south facing terrace.

Very satisfied, fabulous location, happy to return.

This was our first villa rental holiday, so we had no illusions to live up to from previous experiences - but if we were to make comparisons against the usual four star inclusive hotel stay in Alcudia we would normally have booked, we would happily return to this villa again and again for the personal enjoyment and value for money we experienced. A traditionally furnished spacious property provided ample room and amenities for our party which consisted of my young family - two children aged 7 and 9, my wife's parents and my sister. Within its own private grounds, which you could argue needed a little tidying and more attention, and with a lovely sizable private pool, we were open minded to what we might actually expect, but we were not disappointed. The children loved it, with no restrictions on pool use or when to eat and with the freedom to do exactly what you wanted to do when you wanted to do it made this holiday one of the most relaxing ones we have had as a family with two young children. The surrounding neighbourhood gives an exclusive residents feel, and was largely very quiet at all times of the day. This villa benefits from a very good elevated position with some good views of the surrounding forestry and countryside. Local supermarkets in either Sa Pobla or a little further in Pollenca are a short car ride away, the beaches of Alcudia roughly 10kms away, if you need or want them.

All in all, you get what you pay for, and whereas I wouldn't label this villa cheap at all, it certainly wasn't the most expensive option in the neighbourhood - which may give you better presentation but could they match the facilities and overall holiday experience from what they offered as opposed to this one....I very much doubt it. If we decided to stay in Majorca again next year, we would definitely book this villa again.

Avoid this villa until it has been upgraded.

This villa is in a prime, scenic location in the north of Mallorca but, unfortunately , requires modernisation and substantial maintenance to the house and grounds. We found the following:

* Grubby, unhygienic kitchen worktops and floors - cooker and hob filthy and stinking of grease

* Dirty bathroom facilities and floor, including broken toilet seat

* Cupboard and drawer handles and light switches in all rooms grubby and sticky

* Some doors and shutters not closing and locking properly

* The grounds, except for the pool area, largely derelict with junk and rubble dumped everywhere

* Pool fairly unsightly and needing some grouting and refurbishment

* Bedrooms and lounge were okay - but the whole place is very tired and needs substantial investment and TLC to justify the rents charged

This is by far the worst property we have rented in the last 30years.

The owner has been informed, but disputes our findings - we doubt the very necessary improvements will be made

Beautiful views from this quaint villa

This villa is set in the mountains. It has a spectacular view from it. As a family of 7 we had everything we needed in this very quaint villa. Even fresh lemons growing on the trees in the garden. We had fresh towels and linen supplied by a maid. A short drive into Alcudia and pollenca. The owner was very quick with emails and we always changer hold of him.

Voila is set in lovey location...few minutes from Alcudia & Pollensa....pool was ideal for our young family....we have been here twice & we r booked again for 2017...we really enjoy it here.....sleeps 8 plenty room....would recommend it highly....

Family Holiday

We stayed in this Villa 20/07/2013-03/08/2013. The Villa is located in the most beautiful surroundings. Every morning on opening our bedroom window we were met with the most beautiful view of the mountain + surrounding area. Although there a few Villas near this one it was still very quiet. No traffic noise at all. You can watch the planes heading to the airport as they fly in over the island. We loved this ! The Villa itself could do with a few pounds spent to improve the electricals as when the pool filter system came on the trip would blow. This didn't really affect our holiday much as we had husbands who understood what to do to get it on again. The Villa is very homely with beautiful gardens + pool. Although the garden is a bit overgrown it is still lovely. Inside the Villa could do with a really good hoovering + dusting ! We did have maid service but only changed beds + towels. No brushing up or hoovering was done during our stay except what we done ourselves ! We had kids running about so we needed to brush up !! We didn't actually mind this but were just a bit shocked it wasn't included. In summing up our holiday I would have to say we would have no reason not to go back to this Villa as we all had a really wonderful time. The electrical problems need to be looked at though + maybe a little tlc but we made wonderful memories on our holiday. Wish we were still there ! Oh ! another small thing. The glass doors in 1 of the bedrooms (front bedroom) needs the runners fixed as one of the doors almost fell on me !! We got used to it though + learned the position to keep it in so it didn't fall forward ! I have to say also the owner was a pleasure to deal with + gave us great directions + we had great communication with him from the time we booked, no problems there at all. I have tried to be honest in my review, None of these things were really major problems but I have to say the electrics need consideration. A beautiful area. a memorable holiday. Ann + Group

I bought this property after viewing many villas not only in Mallorca but anywhere within a 2-3 hour flight from the UK. I chose this one for its beautiful location and whilst being in a very tranquil area is within a few kilometres of long sandy beaches and all the creature comforts that Mallorca has to offer.

Nearest Airport : Palma at 45 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Sa Pobla at 4 Kilometres Nearest Ferry : Alcudia at 14 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Pollenca at 4 Kilometres Nearest Train : Sa Pobla at 5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : autovia at 2 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Sa Pobla at 4 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Alcudia at 12 Kilometres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

The 5km stretch of Alcudia beach which is very safe for families is approximately 10 minutes drive away. The beaches of Puerto Pollenca and Cala San Vincentes are also about the same distance.

Travel:

Palma airport is approximately 30 minutes drive on the newly completed motorway. Our villa is just 1 mile from exit No. 40. Car hire is essential.

Distances:

The nearest town is Sa Pobla which is approximately 5 minutes drive away (3km). This is a local town full of character with markets on Sunday, two large supermarkets and a variety of small restaurants and bars. Within a 10km drive are the old and historic towns of Pollenca and Alcudia, each with historic roman sites. Nearby are the Caves of Campanet. Further afield you find the City of Palma with all its cosmopolitan as well as historic places of interest.

the villa is around 35 mins drive from Palma airport which itself is served by many low cost airlines and so is accessible all year round. the nearest golf course (Pollenca) is just a 5 min drive away with magnificent views across the bay. For non golfers they also do a menu of the day by there pool! another golf course can be found a further 5 mins at Alcanda (Alcudia). Nowhere in Mallorca is more than an hours drive from our villa so from the quiet mountain villages to the style of Palma the choice is yours.
