Situated off a quiet country lane, this pretty 5-bedroomed villa nestles peacefully in one and half acres of enclosed gently terraced gardens. Surrounded by mature pines and oak woods which offer privacy and natural shade. The villa has a private pool and south facing paved sun terraces. It is a private home and very much loved and enjoyed by its owners. It is beautifully finished with local Salerne floor tiles and has a welcoming and comfortable interior with a traditional fireplace for off-season periods. The property enjoys good access (no long drives up unmade roads!), it's 1 hour from Nice Airport, 15 minutes from Autoroute A8, and 10 minutes from Les Arcs SNCF rail station (5 hours to Paris by TGV).

It is extremely well equipped - the best equipped self-catering house I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in quite a few at home and abroad! Also very peaceful - just the occasional huge splash of my husband diving into the swimming pool broke the peace and tranquillity of the place'

Notes on accommodation: The thick walls and shutters allow the interior to keep cool in summer and the bedrooms are all equipped with fans. In spring and autumn electric panel radiators offer quick and effective room heating. Wifi is provided and can be accessed throughout the villa and outside on the pool patio. Outside: The gardens are secured by perimeter fencing and large lockable entrance gates, allowing children to play and cycle in safety. The gardens can be lit at night. The driveway provides parking for 3 vehicles, with shade from tall pines trees. A large south facing covered patio with table and chairs is attached to the villa and includes built-in barbecue providing ideal alfresco eating. The 8m x 4m pool (depth from 0.9m to 2m, and 'roman' steps at one end) is close to the villa, and adjoined by an extensive paved area with a giant hanging parasol, 6 sunloungers and chairs for 10, drinks trolley and large table. The garden has a dedicated boules court. A table tennis table, swing, badminton set, 3 adult and 4 child size bikes are also provided. Utility Room: The utility room is adjacent to the kitchen and includes washing machine, condenser dryer machine, and small sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included (but not pool or beach towels). The property cleaned at the end of each stay. Additional cleaning available on request. Other: Every downstairs room (except bathoom and kitchen) have French doors opening on to sun terraces running the length of the villa.

Excellent well equiped villa - great for families

The location of the villa was brilliant - not far from major attractions butalso secluded as well. Our stay on the villa was as two families with children. The children were very well catered for with outdorr toys, bikes, videos - it was great having stuff on hand to entertain them. Us adults fully appricated how well equiped the villa was - we have never been anyway which comes close! The answer to "I wonder if there is a ...." was normally yes!

We didn't really use the swimming pool as it was unheated and too cold whilst we were there but I woudl imagine in summer it would be a great place to cool down.

We would definately recommend this place to friends - its certaibly somewhere we would come back to!

Owner's Response: The pool is unheated, as are most private pools in the South of France, and for those renting early season it will be cold. However from mid-May onwards it should be acceptable, and by mid-June you can expect a nice warm temperature.

Love villa on a peaceful country setting

This is a very spacious villa set in a peaceful country setting. Various Provençal villages and small towns are minutes away.

The five bedrooms are large and comfortable. The lounge and TV area are large and very comfortably furnished.

The kitchen has everything you could wish for.

It was great to have the choice of outdoor eating areas (outside the kitchen, by the pool, or outside the lounge) depending where the sun was shining!

We will definitely consider visiting again.

Villa Fleuron

Our family (ages 21-54) enjoyed a relaxing holiday at Villa Fleuron in the Haut Var region of Provence. The villa is clean, comfortable and well-appointed with all 'mod cons' including decent wifi. The pool is pretty cool in May, but is refreshing on a hot day, and there are plenty of loungers and chairs to relax on the extensive patios. There are several hypermarkets within 10 km to buy groceries. A car is essential as all shops and restaurants are at least 8 km away.

The guest book contains lots of useful information and tips on places to visit and sights to see. We tended to eat out in Flayosc or BBQ in the evenings, and can particularly recommend La Salle a Manger, owned by a very friendly Dutch couple. We found plenty to do during our 2-weeks stay, including canoeing along the Gorges du Verdon; day trips/picnics to the Massif des Maures, Cotignac, Villecroze, Sillans-la-Cascade, Tourtour, Grimaud; a morning at the market in Lorgues; and the boat trip from St Maxime to St Tropez.

Back at the villa, the table tennis, badminton and boules provided fun distractions when we weren't reading by the pool or playing card and board games. There is a large TV (and smaller TVs in the bedrooms), but we only watched some football and tennis matches on a couple of evenings.

Peter the caretaker is very friendly and helpful, and at the end of the phone should you need him. David and Liz, the owners, provided clear instructions and advice in good time before we set off, and responded promptly to our queries.

Owner's Response: The nearest Carrefour hypermarket is 6.3kms from the villa, and shops, bakery and restaurants at Les Arcs village are 6kms away (checked on google maps).

Great place, great stay.

The house and the surroundings is nice and quiet. We stayed there for two weeks and had a great time. From the house it is great to get around in Provance. We had a rentel car and went to some of the famous coast cities. We had also a day tripp to Georges du Verdon. Every evening we satt outside and grilled. The pool is great but be aware that you cant see the pool from the house because of a big hegde. There is a pool alarm that you can use if you need too because of small children. The bedrooms are big and the kitchen well equitted. There is also a outdoor ping pong table that we used a lot. There is a fence around the garden so we could let the children walk arond in the big garden without us beeing worried. We hope we will get back some time.

The villa is located in a beautiful area set between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. It is close to many historic villages and vineyards and is an easy drive to the beaches and lively resorts at Sainte Maxime (30 mins), Saint Raphael and Saint Tropez.


1 hour from Nice Airport (Easyjet, BA). 1 hour from Toulon-Hyeres Airport (Ryanair). 15 minutes from Autoroute A8 exit 36. 10 minutes from Les Arcs SNCF rail station (5 hours to Paris by TGV). Car is essential.


This is a superb area for touring. The Gorges du Verdon - the French Grand Canyon - and Lake St Croix, the largest lake in Provence, offer swimming, walking, sailing and windsurfing in breathtaking scenery and are only 45 minutes away.

Further Details:

Les Arcs, Lorgues and Flayosc are nearby (6kms) picturesque provencal villages dating from Roman times, each with tourist offices, banks, bars, restaurants, and bakeries. Lorgues is the largest and dominated by its early 18th Century Church. The renowned truffle restaurant Chez Bruno is a short drive away and there are numerous gastronomic experiences and wine tasting cellars within easy reach.

Shopping: The nearest Carrefour hypermarkets are at Draguignan (6kms), and there is a large Hyper U (8kms) on the DN7 south of Les Arcs. There are street markets at Aups (Wed & Sat), Lorgues (Tues) and Salernes (Sun) and a very large Sunday Provencal market at Le Muy by the autoroute (A8).

Booking form available on request. 25% of the total amount due is required to secure a booking. The remaining balance must be paid not later than 8 weeks prior to arrival, plus a refundable security deposit of 600 Euros.

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover. Departure by 10.00. Arrival after 16.00.

Notes on prices:
Rental price includes electricity (except during low season). End of stay villa cleaning 125 euros. Linen laundry charge of 10 euros per person. To compensate for extra 'wear and tear' a 100 euros charge per additional adult per week is made for large parties with more than 6 adults.
