The villa is in front of the popular Old Village area with a good variety of restaurants, bars and cafes. It's approx 15 minute walk to the Vilamoura Marina and a further 5 minutes to the beach, or in front of the Villa you can catch the tourist train for approx €3, and it travels all around Vilamoura in a circuit to the beach and back again. The Villa has a private pool, gardens and outside BBQ area which are all south facing. Plus newly installed wi-fi, pool table and table tennis table. Perfect for family holidays!

About the Owner

Vilamoura is a beautiful place to be with the hugely popular Marina at its centre, white sandy beaches and Roman ruins to visit too! There is an abundance of night-life with fantastic restaurants, bars, nightclubs and an impressive Casino. Chic shopping can be done around the Marina area. In Vilamoura area alone there are 6 courses and nearby you also have the Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago courses. You also have the Family Golf Park Mini Golf, the Vilamoura Tennis Club and the Lawn Bowls Club. In Vilamoura there is something to do for everyone at all times of the year. In the next door town of Quarteira there are daily fish and fresh produce markets plus a weekly Gypsy Market. I know you'll have a wonderful stay in Vilamoura.

Nice Villa - great location.

My wife and I have recently enjoyed a week staying in Villa Cole. We are big fans of Vilamoura having enjoyed many holidays there. The villa is located in the Old Village which is a lovely area and is in a great position, the supermarket is literally 20 seconds walk away and there are a number of bars and restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Vilamoura marina is a 15 minute stroll away.

The Villa itself is very nice. It is clean, comfortable with a pleasant rear garden and pool area which is lovely and private for enjoying the sun and having an occasional dip in the pool to cool down. A bonus is the games room which houses a pool table and table tennis table which is a nice extra.

Jackie, the agent is very friendly and helpful.

We hope to return to Villa Cole again in the not to distant future and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.

Villa Cole, Old Village Area, Vilamoura

We have stayed at this property twice a year for the last 3 years.

The villa is situated in a perfect location for local amenities such as bars and restaurants and there is a small supermarket literally over the road which stocks just about everything you will need.

A walk of around 15 minutes will take you to the Marina where you will enjoy great nights out or if you don’t fancy walking there is a tourist train that stops right outside the villa

The villa is the perfect retreat for families wanting either a relaxing or busy vacation.

In our experience the villa caters for all of your needs and regular visits are made to ensure your own pool is kept clean

The agent who represents the owner is extremely professional and will help you if required with local knowledge.

I highly recommend this property and we have no hesitation in returning year after year and would recommend it to family and friends.

Everything about this property matched and exceeded our expectations. Great location for shops, bars and restaurants. Easy access to the Marina (15 minute easy walk). Tourist train passes the gate.

The Villa itself was very clean and very suitable for 3 couples or a family. Private pool and well maintained grounds.

The big hit for us was the back-up from Jackie who responded instantly to any requests for support or information. She got us a great car hire deal at (very) short notice and looked after us very well.

Location

The beaches are amazing and are great for kids and the Marina is just so lovely to visit and enjoy. The Portuguese are also very nice and love kids and there are some beautiful places to explore all over the Algarve and Vilamoura is the perfect base in central Algarve to do this from. The Villa is opposite the "Old Village" with some bars, cafes, restaurants and a supermarket for all your groceries. There is also easy access to walk to the Tennis Club, the Lawn Bowls Club and the Marina and centre. The golf courses are also within easy access. There are a few tourist trains doing the circuits of both Vilamoura and Quarteira including the beach and the Marina which pass by regularly.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

East side of the Marina are the Vilamoura and Quarteira beaches with their lovely long promenades. Vilamoura is a privately run exclusively developed holiday resort. Its focal point is the Marina, one of the largest in Western Europe, surrouned by a well laid out array of shops, restaurants, bars, discos, casino, five star hotels and apartment blocks. On one side of the Marina entrances is the Falasia Beach extending for several miles westward. Approx 20 mins walk to Falesia Beach.

Travel:

The nearest airport is Faro which is 20 minutes drive. A car is not necessary when staying in Villa Cole as everthing is very close. You can take a taxi 30/35 euros or we can easily organise a pick up from the airport for you, please do let me know.

Distances:

A 30 second walk to the supermarket and approx 15 mins to Vilamoura Marina and approx 20 mins to the beach. A taxi would cost approx 6 euros (min charge), there is also a tourist train which passes by regularly in summer and costs approx 3/4 euros per day, this train takes you around all tourist spots in Vilamoura.

Further Details:

Vilamoura is a great place as it caters for all ages with the Algarve's largest Marina and beautiful beaches and is only a 15 minute drive to Quinta do Lago/Vale do Lobo and Albufeira. There's lots to see and do.

We will always try to be flexible with regards to arrival and departure times, please request these at time of booking, and if possible we will do our best to accommodate you. Normal check in time is 16:00 and check out time is 11:00.

Having a walk around Vilamoura Marina is a must during your holidays! You can also go deep sea fishing or just have a lazy sail along the beautiful coastline on a boat or Catamaran. If you have a chance you can walk to the nearby Pinhal golf course club house just for a coffee, it is beautiful over looking the course, and wander over to the Hilton hotel which has the most amazing playground for children. The excellent Aquashow waterpark is a 5 minute car or taxi journey away and Zoomarine themepark is about 30 minutes by car. In the next door town of Quarteira there are daily fish and fresh produce markets plus a weekly Gypsy Market. The Villa is close to all of Vilamoura's plentiful amenities but offers the privacy of a "home from home" for your family holiday.

Outside: There is a south facing terrace off the master bedroom and living room looking over the pool, a new patio and BBQ area and pool showers and a private car port. Utility Room: The washing machine is in the lower ground floor utility area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa has a full clean and change of linen/towels once a week for lets over 7 days. No beach towels are provided. Other: Also has private off street parking, Outside BBQ and showers. The villa now has a new pool table and a new table tennis table located in the lower ground floor area.
