Beach Apartment in Isla Canela, Costa de la Luz - A New Front-Line Apartment close to the Marina at Punta del Moral, Isla Canela Golf & Ayamonte

This 4th floor apartment is located on the Playa Verde development located adjacent to the Iberostar 4-star hotel & enjoys fabulous Marina & Sea views from its large terrace. The fantastic sandy beach is just 50m away, & the pretty fishing village of Punta del Moral is only 500m away with it's traditional, excellent seafood restaurants overlooking the Marina, where more restaurants, shops & bars are located. Excellent golfing is 5 mins away at Isla Canela Golf (additional courses inland & in Portugal) & the picturesque town of Ayamonte is just 10 mins with it's cobbled streets, excellent shopping & first class restaurants/tapas bars. From here a local ferry can be caught across the Guadiana river to Vila Real in Portugal. This area of Andalucia offers guests a relaxing holiday environment & an insight into a traditional Spanish way of life, & since over 40% of Isla Canela is a protected nature reserve, building work has been limited to allow an abundance of wildlife to prosper.

Coast/Beach:

The apartment complex is located just 50m from the fantastic, clean, wide sandy beach, separated only by a park and green area. The beach seldom gets overcrowded, even in the popular summer months as it stretches 7km to the mouth of the Guadiana river (the border to Portugal).

Travel:

Faro in Portugal is the nearest airport to Isla Canela; approximately 40 mins away, alternatively Seville in Spain is approximately 75 mins drive. The usual budget airlines serve both airports, as well as popular scheduled and charter carriers.

Distances:

The picturesque town of Ayamonte is just 10 mins drive away with it’s pretty white buildings, cobbled streets, bustling shops & traditional tapas bars & cafés. A nearby suspension bridge links Spain to Portugal; however the charming local ferry still operates from Ayamonte to Vila Real de San Antonio across the Guadiana river which acts as the border between the two countries. The historic city of Seville is 75 mins drive with it's spectacular architecture, excellent shopping & other amenities.

Further Details:

Mini-markets and cashpoints can be found around the local marina, however larger supermarkets, banks, shops and the fresh daily market can be found in nearby Ayamonte.
