A very well presented apartment with Wi-fi, TV, DVD player and Aircon (on a coin operated metre 1EUR per hour). It is a 2 bedroomed apartment with kitchen, sitting room, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and a balcony. The apartment sleeps 4. There is 1 brand new double bed in one bedroom and 2 single beds in the twin bedroom.

Calahonda Park is situated just 200 meters from the local beaches and is a 2 minute drive to the beautiful Cabopino harbour and beach. The secure complex is wheelchair friendly. The third floor balcony overlooks the gardens and main pool with views of the sea. Calahonda is conveniently located to Marbella in the west and Fuengirola in the east and is a 30 minute drive from Malaga airport. A short distance inland are white mountain villages of Andalucia. There are plenty of golf courses nearby, active water sports and water parks.

There are electric radiators for winter heating (no extra charge). The property is ideal for both families and couples. The lift is just five paces from the apartment door. Outside: balcony with outdoor furniture and built-in BBQ. The property has community gardens which are kept to a very high standard. There are 2 community pools, the smaller of which is ideal for young children under supervision. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels provided, (NOT BEACH TOWELS). The property is cleaned and prepared for your arrival.

Pleasant Surprise!!

The information received prior to our trip was thorough and very helpful which made the procedure for the collection of the keys to the apartment hassle-free - many thanks Suzanne!! The apartment was larger than the impression we had from the photos, which was a pleasant surprise, and contained everything that we needed. Great view from the balcony and very peaceful. We would hope to book the apartment again if returning to Calahonda.

Short stay near the beach

We only stayed a few days in the flat but all was good. The pool was really clean and huge, never crowded, there was lots of space around it and when by the pool we didn't even notice the big road nearby.

The closest beach bar was really cosy - and a five minutes walk south took us to a great and child friendly beach with good swimming.

At one point we asked for an extra fan for the apartment and it was fixed within hours - great service.

This apartment is really value for money.

Good Value. Convenient location. Clean. Beds very comfy. Lovely gardens and pool. Lidl very close.

We found the apartment excellent value. Clean. Well equipped. Even left loungers for us to use. Needs a cool bag or box for beach. Patio doors would not lock but I believe they were going to be fixed. Had problem with lights fusing. Management company were quick to send someone. Lift was very useful. Complex very nice and quiet neighbours having some residential occupants. Very convenient for Lidl and Supersol. Couple of cafes nearby too. Easy to walk through gardens to local beach. Bit stoney for bathing but nice to walk along the wooden pathways and excellent food at pirate bar on beach. Staff were a hoot. Gardens very nice and well tended. Security good as need door codes to get in. Pool lovely and clean with toilets down next to pool very clean too. Excellent location for touring round. Day trip to Ronda recommended. Stunning views. La Cala a short drive. Lovely but parking tricky! Fuengirola lively and clean. The only downside is proximity to the main road/dual carriageway. Noisy during day bit quieter overnight. We got used to it over the week and slept ok. Air con is by 1euro coins but only needed occasionally. If you leave front door open you get a good breeze coming through but I would have been happier with a grill over the door for piece of mind! Felt quite safe really though as private complex. Overall a great value holiday. I think the sofas in the lounge are a bit hard too but ok if you are out most of the time and just using as a base. I would recommend the apartment as for what we paid it was good. Nice touch also was a few toiletries left and also cleaning products. Tea and coffee too. We replaced what we used and I think that works well as it means you don't have to spend a fortune on cleaning stuff just for 10 days. We would book again.

Really nice apartment

The apartment is really nice. Quite comfy! Good enough beds! And with really quiet neighbours. The Calahonda Park is great too. The only problem was the AC that is described as being included, but it's not. There is a machine where you need to insert coins. Then you are able to get some AC for a period of time. I felt deceived by that. Other than that, we just loved our stay...

There are miles of sandy beaches just a 200 metre walk from the apartement.All connected by a sea front boardwalk in both directions.Two minutes by car is Cabopino beach (15 mins coastal boardwalk) then another 5 minutes is Elviria beach.


Malaga is an easy 30 minute drive by coastal drive or motorway. Car hire is not essential, but recommended.


Puerto Banus, Mijas, Marbella, Ojen and Istan are all accessible within half an hour's drive. Ronda is a 45 min drive.

Further Details:

There is a small bar/restaurant in the entrance of Calahonda Park, and there are banks, bars, restaurants and supermarkets just a 2 minute walk away.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 60 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
