About the Owner

We live in Devon by the coast and have 4 children and 3 grandsons. After being invited to stay at our friends villa for an unexpected break in the sun, we simply fell in love with Moraira town and the surrounding areas. A few years on and we have finally purchased our lovely Spanish home. The villa and gardens have needed much time and energy and indeed this is still and ongoing project that we aim to keep adding to and improving each year. We have tried to do this in a sympathetic way, hence the rather more homely feel than the average holiday let. Its a very relaxing a peaceful place to stay, yet it has everything one would need very close by.

Beautiful very comfortable villa with fantastic gardens views - always something to look at - Exceeded all expectations you will not be disappointed

Great location so easy for everything yet lovely and peaceful, secluded and relaxing environment. Views were better in real life we'll be back again soon.

Our Kids loved the villa swimming pool and playing on the table tennis table. & as a family we enjoyed playing tennis together early evenings before going back to the villa for a BBQ.

What a lovely private villa to spend time at well catered for every need, lots of extras and very homely. We loved it!

Wow better than in the photos and what we expected, another visit is on the cards.

My husband and I stayed for the month of November - we had a lovely bit of winter sun at a very reasonable price! We hope to do the same next winter.

Beautiful Villa & Perfect for family holiday

  • 5 of 5

Stayed for fab week in Aug kids hols. 2 Adulst and Two 17 yr olds, Beautiful pool, terraces and gardens. Private and picturesque tropical gardens. One of many highlights were mediteranean dinners on the many balconies and secluded places to eat. Also a glass of wine on the candlelit terraces, with the clear star lit skies.

The villa is modern and very clean had all the amenities we required, the air con worked great in every room. Even provided bottle of Cava, bottle of wine, bread, ham, butter and water on arrival. Internet was usable even got facetime working on a couple of occasions. Sky was good with full English Channels and Sky sports (a couple of short periods we lost reception). Only feedback would be only one bath towel each, a spare would be handy if you forget to use the washing machine!

We like the location of the villa, but car is essential in my view. Easy 1 minute drive to 2 good supermarkets (Aldi & Mercadona), easy 5 min drive into Moraira which is still free to park. Also easy to pick up road to Javea (15 mins) our other favourite place. Found some excellent beach bars and small stony beaches with crystal clear water, Cocoro beach bar at Cala Moraig (nr Benitachel) and further along the Moraira Coast at Baladrar at Cala Baladrar and Algas Beach Bar at Cala de L'Andrago. We ate out every night as it seemed a waste not to venture out into Moraira town, Javea, Altea and Calpe. (Altea is beautiful but crowded in August).

Again the views down into the valley and across to the mountain ranges make this villa an easy choice to return in the near future (I hope!)

Wonderful villa with stunning views

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our stay at Casablanca. The villa is very well equipped and it is obvious that a great deal of thought has gone into furnishing and providing those essential items plus lots of extras that make the villa feel very homely. The pool and gardens are splendid and were exceptionally clean. Moraira itself had everything you could want, beach, restaurants, bars and with a large supermarket only a 5 minute drive away it really was perfect for a family holiday. It was also a pleasure dealing with Sophie the owner of the villa. I would definitely recommend Casablanca to anyone visiting this delightful area of Spain.

Another fabulous holiday at Casa Blanca

  • 5 of 5

Just back from another great holiday staying at Casa Blanca. we felt so at home when we were staying there - a well equipped villa with a beautiful garden and lovely pool, the water so warm at this time of year. We loved the view so much last year, and it's even better this year - a neighbour has removed 2 pine trees! can't wait to return again soon. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic villa and area!

  • 5 of 5

Having spent very many holidays on the Costa del Sol, what a fantastic surprise Moraira and this beautiful villa were!

A girl's break, with good friends, lots of laughing, fun and relaxing at this gorgeous place!

Spacious, beautifully furnished, with superb taste and an eye for detail. Lots of lovely different areas to sit and relax to suit your mood, the naya verandah being one of my favourites, with it's far reaching views of the surrounding countryside, comfy seating and Al fresco dining. And the peace, so wonderfully quiet, but minutes from the picturesque but buzzing village of Moraira, with its markets, fiesta, restaurants, boutiques and beaches with stunning turquoise sea. There was a flamenco fiesta during our stay, which was a lovely cultural experience, and the Friday market was great, with a superb variety of goods on offer.

The garden was a treat, lovely colourful flowering plants and trees made it a joy, with many sunny and shady varied spots to enjoy. Table tennis and boules for those wanting a little competition!

The pool and main terrace is sunny all day, but shade is plentiful if desired. Lovely to find a secret corner to read in.

The villa was beautifully equipped with amazing attention to detail. It feels luxurious but homely, and I can't think of a single thing which could be better. The decor is simple but very stylish. All mod cons, wifi, sky, air-conditioning, Woodburning stove, barbecue, really comfy beds and lots of hot water and powerful showers!

The villa exceeded our expectations and Sophie is a wonderful owner, very approachable, friendly and helpful. It was exceptionally clean and well maintained, as was the garden.

The restaurants in the area were really good with lovely seafood at good prices, and the cava from the local supermarket was delicious, and less than 2 euros a bottle!

A superb relaxing and invigorating break was enjoyed by us all. Thoroughly recommended!

Absolutely Fantastic Holiday - Beautiful Villa

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely fantastic holiday at this beautiful villa. We couldnt have wished for more. The perfect Location. Stunning views from the villa, very peaceful, quiet and tranquil location with views to die for. The villa was equipt with everything you could wish for plus more! Lots of lovely little touches, much attention to detail. Sophie the owner was very helpful and fantastic, nothing was too much trouble right from booking to departing. Moraira town itself is beautiful. Spectacular restaurants and bars everywhere you really are spoilt for choice and a lovely beach and harbour with lots of great shops too. Although having said that we didn't often want to leave the villa, even had the luxury of sun all day in the gardens so just basking around the beautiful pool and villa gardens was perfect! Absolutely exceeded every expectation, we can't wait to return. Thank you Sophie!

This is no ordinary holiday rental! Its a perfect spot for peace and relaxation yet surrounded by lots of places to visit. The villa is beautifully decorated and equipt and feels like a home rather than rental. The stunning location and garden is a delight. All requirements have been lovingly catered for and the only snag is having to leave!

Location

From the Owner

We feel that even though we are now getting to know the area there is still so much left to explore and discover. From the beaches and many coves to the small unspoilt mountain villages, where the traditional Spanish way of life can still be found. To the scenic valleys with almond blossom and many fruit growing areas. We feel that Moraira has a lot to offer and remains unspoilt yet it has all the attractions and many facilities so close to hand.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Barpub : Shopping centre nearby at 1 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Saint Jamie Moraira at 3 Kilometres Nearest Train : Teulada at 10 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : Benissa at 12 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Shopping centre nearby at 1 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Moraira at 2 Kilometres

Coast/Beach:

Moraira and the lovely El Portet beaches (blue flag award) are each approx. 3 minutes away by car and there are good parking facilities right by the beach. Calpe, Denia and Javea beaches are all around 20 - 30 minutes drive away. There are a choice of many coves along the coast road to choose from. Some of these are excellent for snorkeling. Kyaks & Jet ski's can be hired and sailing from the club can be organised.

Travel:

Moraira can be reached easily from both Alicante and Valencia Airports, it is approx. an hour from Alicante slightly longer from Valencia, We recommend car hire.

Distances:

Nearest airports: Alicante at 90 kilometres or Valencia at 120 kilometres. Nearest train: Teulada at 8 kilometres. Nearest motorway: Benissa at 8 Kilometres. Calpe, Javea and Denia The beautiful old town of Altea (The art capital of Costa Blanca) are all accessible within half an hour's drive. Benidormin 45 minutes.

Further Details:

Moraira has grown from a small fishing village to an attractive holiday resort with considerable charm, attracting visitors from all over Europe. Having many restaurants and bars to choose from and a fabulous local weekly market and daily fish market, that is not to be missed! There is a very stylish marina and many delightful cafes to sit and have a coffee or drink and people watch, overlooking the sea. There are many individual and interesting shops to choose from and to suit all ages and pockets. Moraira has good supermarkets, banks and a good all round variety of things needed. There are no towering hotels or apartment blocks, owing to very strict planning controls. The luscious green countryside is dotted with white-washed villas and low-rise 'pueblo-style' apartment complexes mingling with pinewoods and cultivated vine terraces and orange and lemon groves. The area remains exclusively for villa owners and visitors who prefer an independent, rather than package-type holiday. Moraira has three very clean, blue flag, south-facing beaches and easy access is provided to a range of holiday attractions along the coast; also wonderful mountain scenery and fascinating Spanish villages just inland. Theme parks are nearby at Benidorm and Valencia. Terra Mitica (like Disney world), Aqualandia (super slides) and Mundomar (dolphins, seals), Terra Natura, excursions, etc.
