Apartment near Arenal beach, Javea, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Central But Peaceful Location, Only 5 Mins Walk To Beach. Great choice for couples

Considered to be one of the best complexes in Javea, La Isla is set around a large beautiful communal lagoon style pool with bridges and a central island feature. The tropical gardens offer spacious lawns and plenty of shade for long hours of relaxing. Centrally yet peacefully located, our first floor apartment is within a few minutes walk of the Arenal blue flag beach, a wonderful safe sandy bay with promenade and ample shops, restaurants and bars. The apartment is well equipped throughout, with lounge with large comfy sofa. Sunny south facing balcony overlooking the gardens. There is a separate fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, hob, washing machine, toaster and microwave. The double bedroom has a view of the Montgo mountain, and a there is a bathroom with a full sized bath and shower. Fans are provided for summer months. English TV and internet access. There is a lift and ample shaded parking, but everything is within easy walking distance so a car is not necessary.

Fantastic apartment, facilities and location

My family (wife, 2 kids and I) recently stayed in the apartment for 2 weeks and really enjoyed a fantastic holiday here. All throughout the process of arranging and booking, the communication with the owner was friendly, prompt and spot on. When we arrived, we found this first floor apartment to be very clean and tidy, with fresh towels and bed linen provided for us. We found the listing description to be accurate, with the apartment being well maintained and equipped, with a lovely homely feel to it. It had pretty much everything you need as essentials in a home, even down to a washing machine and dishwasher.

There was even a great big information folder, full of important and useful information about the apartment, facilities and local amenities - we can certainly recommend Bar Las Olas, on the Cabo de la Nao road, as being great value for money, with friendly and helpful staff.

The apartment balcony was a lovely feature, with seating on it overlooking the fantastic communal pool and grounds - this area is gated for residents use only, so it never felt overcrowded. The pool is probably the best one we've ever experienced in Javea, big and spacious. Parking was very straightforward, being able to park directly outside the apartment with no bother - parking was also restricted to residents only, but access to and from the apartment complex is very straightforward (no vehicles gates). The Arenal (sandy beach) was literally only 5 minutes walk away, and local shops and small supermarkets were less than that. We hardly used the car, other than to drive to the port or the old town.

Overall, a great apartment and great owner - we would thoroughly recommend it, and would have no hesitation staying here again.

Fabulous apartment in stunning surroundings

My partner and I booked a 10 night stay in Tim and Pam's apartment. The booking process was very easy and straightforward and communication was prompt. I received the keys in plenty of time before we travelled. The apartment was spotlessly clean on our arrival and very well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your holiday, including extra towels to use for the beach and pool. There is a lovely terrace to sit out on which overlooks the pool area, with comfy chairs, perfect for a chilled out evening relaxing with a nice glass of wine. There is free WiFi and TV with Freesat channels.

The complex of La Isla is beautiful and perfect for a relaxing holiday in the sun. The pool and surrounding area is very well maintained and is an oasis of calm, with many trees to offer shady areas to sit, relax and read out of the glare of the sun.

La Isla is set back off the main thoroughfare but is only a 5 minute walk from the Arenal Beach and promenade, which has an excellent choice of bars, restaurants and superb ice cream cafe's - catering for all tastes and budgets.

The beach is beautiful, with plenty of soft white sand and blue sea. It does get very busy, so if you are looking for relaxation then I would recommend staying further back on the beach and avoiding the seashore!!

I would highly recommend this apartment and can't wait to book again. Many thanks to Tim and Pam.

Activity and Interests

Special interest holidays:

Pleasure flights (over the spanish scenery near Gandia) on a 2 seater plane can be arranged. (Pilot plus one).


5 minutes level walk to the blue flag sandy Arenal beach. Safe for children with gently sloping sand into clear waters, with sunbeds and parasols available. The Arenal promenade has bars, restaurants and shops, on summer evenings there are market stalls selling jewellery etc.

Half hour coastal walk to the Port with beach and pedestrian promenade.

The Montgo mountain provides a fantastic backdrop to Javea and is a national park. The local coast offers spectacular scenery in all directions.


Alicante Airport and Valencia Airport both approx 1 hour. Car hire recommended and full directions will be provided. For non-drivers airport pick-ups can be arranged. New pre bookable airport bus service www.beniconnect.com


Easy 5 minute level walk to beach. A few minutes drive to Javea Port, the historic old town and scenic walks. 30 minutes drive to Benidorm and it's theme parks. One hour to the city of Valencia, an excellent day out.

Further Details:

Easy walking distance to banks, supermarkets, tourist office, restaurants, shops, bars. Diving, tennis, sailing, boat trips, horse riding, go karting and golf all available. Javea market is well worth a visit on Thursday's. There is an information folder in the apartment. The keys will be posted in advance, detailed directions provided.
