Why Mrs Linda Dawson chose Davenport

We had become regular visitors to the Orlando area as we like the weather and everything Florida has to offer, so we decided to purchase a home there. As we intended to rent the property we chose a location that is convenient for access to the major theme parks but still offers the opportunity for some quiet relaxation.

What makes this villa unique

Our villa is located only 40 minutes drive from Orlando International Airport and just 15 minutes drive from the entrance to Walt Disney World. There are numerous restaurants in the area along with nearby supermarkets. There are shopping malls for the most dedicated shoppers and golf courses to suit players of varying ability. The oversize pool deck provides a relaxing haven if you want to simply take it easy by the pool.

Wonderful villa

The villa was much better than we expected. There is so much space and it’s very homely. The pool was lovely and my whole family enjoyed it. We did have a couple of small issues which were dealt with quickly. It was nice to see the Disney fireworks from the balcony. The villa had everything we needed and we would definitely book again.

Nice Holiday

We had a lovely stay in this villa and the overall villa was lovely. Big bedrooms, lots of bathrooms and my favourite part was the upstairs balcony. We had a slight issue with the air conditioning upstairs not working well. Called Management, they tried to sort it but still was not working upstairs but overall it is was a lovely pleasant stay in your villa.

Wonderful home for a family holiday...luxurious

My family had a super holiday in Florida and we were lucky to have had such a fabulous holiday house to spend our 2 weeks in.

This house has it all... luxury spacious private and a beautiful pool which we all loved spending some down time.

The property is set in a lovely area only a 20 minute drive to the main parks plus we felt extremely safe as it's situated within a gated community.

We will definitely return to this wonderful home thanks to Linda who made our stay very enjoyable and was always there if we had any issues or questions during the booking of the property...

See you again very soon!!!

OUR THIRD STAY IN VILLA A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY

My wife and I have stayed in this villa 3 times and always find it to be well maintained . The owners are a pleasure to deal.

We had to phone the mangement team once because the previous guests had locked the safe.Billy from the mangement sent someone round to fix it within an hour really nice people to deal with.The villa was spotless with plenty of towels and kitchen equipment.We would not hesitate to rebook if we ever decide to return to Florida.

No sorry no holiday for us, loads of bugs and ,all came home all bitten very bad management agency

arriving everything looked fine . We made a special note when booking we needed the pool hot and agreed payment charge for pool heating ,when we tried the pool was freezing, called the management to tell them and that’s when it all went wrong, they told me it would take 3 to 4 day to heat , meaning we had no pool for the first 4 to 5 day ,we where 7 adults that like to relax in and the pool. i seen the pool was dirty , I thought it was stones but when we to try and clean it we found it was ants MILLIONS OF THEM so we could not use the pool for the full term of our holiday. Then In the sitting area in the house we noticed we where getting bitten after looking we found loads of live black bugs and ants on the floor ,beds,bathrooms and also in the kitchen units. We then went to the shops and bought 4 cans of raid ant and roach killer this was in the house manual telling us to do this starting to clean the house from top to bottom, doing this we them noticed that in the carpets and all around the edges of every room was COVERD with dead ants and other bugs .I did contact the management agent again but I could not speak to her as all she did was shout at me asking what I wanted her to do and then I was given 3 days to leave but I could find anywhere, then the lock on the door would not work and we had to stay in until management came around and she dismiss us and told us to go out and she would get the door sorted ,when we returned my daughters pointed out that someone had been in there room and things had been moved ,this was confirmed when the owner told us we had moved the beds together , and she would only have known this if someone had been in there rooms.i have taken plenty photos so if anyone would like to see them please just ask. When I was leaving I cleaned all the house and done most of the linen and towels ,I did wait and asked to be checked out because of everything that had happened but nobody turned up and we waited over 1and 1/2 hours, when I got home I got a letter from the owner saying I left there home in a mess and damaged things , this was not true they said he had photos of the house and how I left it but I never got to see them,I did send them mine, to this date I still don’t have my deposit or my pool heating returned they said if I don’t take any action against them they would return it . This was my last holiday with my kids and this really spoiled it ,still no sorry or compensation!! Cheek to charge full price

Owner's Response: We’ve many great reviews on the OD website, hope potential renters see this review is atypical & use other guest’s feedback incl. those of repeat clients. Key issues are addressed in the word count limit available. Anonymous, Unusually low temp stopped pool heat reaching the required level. Our Pool Service Co noted heaters entering safety mode so as not to freeze. Though heating was kept on for several days to try to heat the pool I refunded the full charge paid. Ants on pool deck/Pool not clean: I immediately got our Pest Control Co to do an extra visit to lay bait. This can increase ant activity resulting in them getting in to the pool but is the best treatment. You sent photos/video clips of ants/dead bug inside the home but unsure what a 3 sec clip of a fly on the carpet tries to demonstrate. You refer to black bugs/ants in beds/kitchen units yet sent no photos of these. Our Mgmt Co report you never advised of pest issues in the home. You weren’t given 3 days to vacate our home. You were unhappy & were offered a full refund if you wished to find an alternative property. The day you sent a message stating if the required pool temp could not be achieved you would look to move elsewhere, a search on the OD website for a 5 bed Davenport villa for 7 adults for the rest of your stay gave almost 300 hits. Allegation someone had been in daughter’s room while you were not there is untrue. Apparent you moved beds as they weren’t replaced in their original position. You washed/folded towels but don’t accept you cleaned the home. If so, why leave drinking straws/clothing tags on the floor, pyjamas, flip flops & discarded trainer. Re email 26 Feb: I didn’t see what an exchange of photos would achieve as a refund cheque for the pool heat/security deposit had been sent to conclude our business. However, our photos show:- Stained pillow cases, bath jet nozzle detached & left in bath, broken ornament & items noted above. You’ve offered to share your photos with others. I assume in the interest of fairness you don’t object to me sharing our photos/emails too. I requested confirmation that the refund was accepted in full & final settlement of any claim you had to ensure there were no further issues you intended to raise. I advised on 17 Feb a cheque was sent for the refund of pool heat/security deposit. You didn’t confirm receipt but asked when you would get refund. The cheque being lost, was cancelled & refund made by bank transfer using details you sent on 6 Mar.

What an amazing property.

Such a nice villa that i would recomend it to any one wanting to stay in the area.

So much room in each of the bedrooms and great space in the living areas.

It gave me reasurance that the road was a locked estate, so no one can get in with out a code to the main road in. It made my family felt safe in a new place.

With only 20mins drive to disney it made our life very easy to drive to where we wanted to visit.

This is defently a luxury villa you want to consider if its in your price range as you get more than than you expect for a great price.
