Our large detached family villa with 4 large air conditioned bedrooms is situated in a charming wine village, just round the corner from the boulangerie, local shop and wine cave. Especially suited to families with young children, our villa is fully equipped to cater for your every need. The private pool is fully enclosed, with sun-loungers, pool toys. The secluded gardens/terraces offer various dining opportunities as well as a perfect place to relax and/or play. Inside, the large, airy rooms are spacious and cool, with comfortable furniture. Located in a superb wine region, within minutes of leaving the villa, you are surrounded by stunning vineyards, producing fantastic wines at great prices. Wonderful Blue Flag beaches can be reached in 20 minutes whilst the Canal du Midi is just a few minutes away. The gentle peaks of the Black Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to the village. This is the perfect holiday base to explore and enjoy this stunning part of France.

Little gem in south of France

I have just been to Villa Karli for the third time and cannot recommend it enough. We were looking for a relaxing homely holiday villa and Villa Karli ticked the boxes. It is amazingly equipped for families with toys, swings and books. It has a comfy living room with a great dining area if not warm enough to sit out on the front or back terraces. The use of a bbq is lovely and The pool is well kept and clean. The villa was spotless and well equipped. The village is what you would expect in the rural area of France.. A lovely bakery and small store that sells the essentials as supermarkets in the bigger towns nearby. Plenty of great places to dine out and the owner gives a great info pack with the local knowledge. The area has lovely wine which I would recommend trying!!! Perfect sitting on the front terrace sampling the local wine!! We walked everyday around the local village by the vines and visited nearby villages. Capestang was a real favourite as was Valras the nearest beach! We look forward to our next visit!

Excellent holiday

Property was exactly as described. Very clean and spacious. Great for families of all ages. Well stocked for young children particularly with games and swings. Garden is secure with gates and safe for children to play in. Pool looked great and well maintained. There's a lot to see in the area but you do need a car. Owner was very helpful with local knowledge and flights etc. I would certainly recommend this villa to anyone. A great find.

Had a brilliant time with our daughter, her husband and 2 children. Lots to see. Fun in the pool and also with the garden games included. Weather brilliant. Need a car. Villa clean and spacious Description accurate

Ruime villa met zwembad voor iedere leeftijd

Wij (2 gezinnen; 4 volwassenen en 4 kinderen 15, 14, 3 en 2 jaar) hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in Villa Karli. De villa ligt in een rustig dorpje van waaruit de bezienswaardigheden goed te bereiken zijn met de auto. In het dorpje zit een bakker (op loopafstand) die erg lekker brood bakt en uitermate vriendelijk is. Er is een klein winkeltje waar je de meeste artikelen kunt kopen en een cafetaria. Voor de boodschappen reden we naar Capestang (10 min met de auto) waar een Lidl en Intermarche zit. Rondom het huis zijn diverse terrassen zodat je kunt kiezen of je in de schaduw of in de zon wilt zitten/liggen. Het zwembad is groot genoeg om in te spelen met meerdere personen. Het zwembad is voorzien van een hek waardoor de kleine kinderen niet zomaar het zwembad in kunnen lopen, dit geeft een veilig gevoel. In en om het huis is veel speelgoed voor de kinderen in alle leeftijden. Daarnaast is er WiFi wat voor de oudere kinderen als fijn wordt ervaren. De woonkamer/keuken is erg groot en het huis beschikt over 4 slaapkamers waarvan 3 met inbouwkasten. De keuken is uitgerust met alle faciliteiten. Buiten is er nog een heerlijke buitenbarbeque die we veel gebruikt hebben. Er één aparte badkamer en aparte wc en bij één slaapkamer zit een kleine douchegelegenheid met wc. Wij hebben 3 weken genoten van het huis, de omgeving en het weer.

Our "France House" is our wonderful second home in the South of France and adored by all of the family.

Purchased by my parents a few years ago, we searched high and low for a villa that felt right and would suit us all.

The minute we saw it, we knew it was to be. Although Villa Karli is owned by my parents, as a French speaker, I manage the rentals and day to day running of our lovely home.

My husband and I have two beautiful children who would spend every weekend and holiday at the villa given half the chance.

We have set up Villa Karli as our own home - we try and provide everything you could possibly need when holidaying abroad.

We would be delighted to welcome you to our "France House" and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

The first time we visited the Languedoc, we fell in love with its slow pace of life and the wonderfully friendly, vivacious locals. Somehow, much of the Languedoc has managed to escape excessive development and it remains a true picture of real France. The town and village markets offer dazzling displays and wonderful aromas of locally sourced produce. Delicious fruit and vegetables, amazingly fresh fish and meat can be found in the higgledy-piggledy streets and squares, crammed with market stalls selling their delicacies and wares.
Local beaches are scrupulously clean, parking is free and the shores are safe and calm. Local shops and restaurants are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A wonderful place to while away the days, Villa Karli is a haven abroad.
