8 bathrooms, mostly all ensuite close to Oxford city centre and enjoying countryside as well.

Dinckley Court is a wonderful spacious property within its own private grounds of approximately 8 acres directly on the River Thames. Close to Oxford city centre (6 miles) as well as enjoying countryside leisure. An exceptional house, with nearly all 8 bedrooms ensuite (7 bathrooms), comprising 8 bedrooms, two twins, and 6 doubles plus toddler bed, travel cot, free standing cot and two portable beds sleeping up to 18. In addition there is one freestanding cot, one travel cot, swing crib and toddler bed. Suitable for family and friends, special occasions, Hen weekends, celebrations and corporate away days. Unfortunately, we do not accept stag groups.

The property is beautifully furnished, in excellent location within 9 acres and with 240ft River Thames frontage. Within the garden you can view Red Kites, deer and many aspects of rural life in the natural grounds along the River Thames. Dining all together for 18, relaxing reception, log burner, underfloor heated conservatory.

The house interior is totally non-smoking.

Excellently equipped with kitchen utensils, crockery, champagne glasses, for all your in-house entertaining with Aga and range cooker.

We can also provide contacts for massage, and complementary therapies within walking distance from Wellbeing Treatments see www.wellbeingtreatments.co.uk and hair and beauty from Hair and Body Workshop in Dorchester on Thames telephone 01865 340194.

Should you require a babysitter I also have available to you direct Mrs Mandy Robinson who is currently employed as a Pre-School Nursery assistant, 26 years child care experience, working with both babies and older children and is CRB checked. Bookings should be made in advance.

During the summer months July and August you will also have use of marquee and banqueting tables for alfresco dining. Plus perfectly situated picnic tables along the Thames to enjoy the leisurely boats cruising by.

During the winter months heating is supplied constantly throughout making it lovely and warm with as much wood supplied as required for additional log burner in reception £80.00 for the weekend fuel supplement or £100.00 for the week.

All linen and towels are provided.

It is also within walking distance of good local pubs close to Oxford for cultural pursuits.

The main reception room has wooden floors and a wood-burning stove as well as Sky TV and wi-fi, perfect for relaxing get-togethers. There is also a study area on a galleried floor. Nearly all bedrooms have TV, with the majority boasting en-suite facilities, and the conservatory dining area offers enough space for all guests to dine together, with views over the large garden which leads directly on to the River Thames. Seating is provided with a barbecue to enable guests to take advantage of scenic relaxing views. There is plenty of boat mooring or local boat hire which can then be moored privately. Coarse fishing can also be enjoyed from this position as well from June to March during fishing season. Located in 8 acres on the banks of the River Thames, the property lies in one of the most picturesque areas of South Oxfordshire.

Perfect party house!

Great house for entertaining large groups of friends or family. The kitchen/dining and lounge areas both accommodated the whole group easily. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need to entertain in the house. Bedrooms are spaced out around the property so you can still have some privacy if not everyone staying knows each other well.

Amazing house in a beautiful setting

The house is beautiful inside and out! The kitchen and conservatory area is a great space to entertain large groups. The location is also perfect for Oxford, it didn't take long to get into town. The rooms are spacious, with many having en-suite bathrooms. Perfect house for a group wanting a country location but close enough to Oxford.

Fabulous family house for a large group right on the Thames.

We came with a large family group for 8 days to rekindle our love of Oxford and the surrounding countryside. The house has a well equipped kitchen, 8 good sized double bedrooms with beds for two more and a large living room. The real joy for summer living was the huge kitchen and sunroom. We gathered there for meals and games and had room for a puzzle table too. The patio had comfy outdoor furniture and the walk down to the river for picnics, boat watching and games of boules was a delight. Annette is a responsive and kind hostess who lives close by and took good care of us. Thanks Annette. We had a great stay !! I highly recommend this property and would come back in a flash.

Well appointed, comfortable and clean

All 14 guests thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week.and also the area. Super house and location.

Small problems you may wish to know about and rectify for the future: -

1. Downstairs bedroom off the lounge - toilet seat almost coming off it's securings, also the bottom half will not stand up on it's own for gentlemens use.

2. Annexe bedroom downstairs with double bed and shower - extractor fan doesn't cut out when light turned off which was disturbing through the night.

Warm friendly house

Dinckley Court is a lovely family house suitable for large groups and families to spend quality time together. The house is warm comfortable and very clean. The grounds are extensive with plenty of room for parking. Would recommend Dinckley Court and also Sarah Wells catering who catered for family celebration last weekend.
