Perfect party house!

  • 5 of 5

Great house for entertaining large groups of friends or family. The kitchen/dining and lounge areas both accommodated the whole group easily. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need to entertain in the house. Bedrooms are spaced out around the property so you can still have some privacy if not everyone staying knows each other well.

Beautiful house

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay. The photos don't do it justice, the house was amazing with plenty of room for 17 of us. It was very clean and the attention to detail was appreciated. We had caterers come and cook for us one night and they said that the kitchen was so well equipped to do so. Annette was great to deal with and we met her at the house on the Friday. She showed us how to work everything and had even provided freshly baked bread! I would definitely recommend this to anyone for a weekend away. Thanks :)

Beautiful, spacious home in an ideal location

  • 5 of 5

It was the perfect house for 16 women on a Hen Do! Fantastic living room & dining area - just what we needed for the party. Kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Also great to have The Chequers pub just around the corner.

A beautiful period property with a huge garden leading down to the Thames.

  • 5 of 5

16 of us stayed for my mum’s 70th birthday (aged 4 to 75) and absolutely loved it. The location is great with a lovely pub a hundred yards away. The communal spaces are great and easily accommodated us. The kitchen facilities are great including the lovely aga. The bedrooms are excellent and everything was lovely and clean. The garden is amazing - we had football, fireworks and wanders down to the river - we also loved watching the Kites fly above. The communication with Annette was perfect. All in all everyone loved it and our time there - we will be back!

Great property in a great location!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a long weekend. We found the property had everything we needed and was nicely fitted out. The garden and riverside setting were idealic.

It’s a great base to get to Wittenham clumps or into Oxford and the local pub (Chequers) accommodated 18 of us for lunch very well.

Only slight complaint would be the beds were a bit uncomfortable but that is only a minor point.

Beautiful setting

  • 4 of 5

Property was quirky and roomy in a beautiful location. Kitchen and conservatory were big enough for our corporate event and there was a bedroom each for everyone which was hard to find under a budget!

One note for any corporate parties is that we struggled with the speed of the WiFi for conference calling and Skyping but for emails on 8 laptops, worked perfectly.

Annette was friendly and very helpful, letting us view the property beforehand and allowing us to check in earlier on the day of arrival. The house was clean and tidy and she had provided us with bread and wine upon arrival.

I would recommend Dinckley Court to a colleague and to anyone looking to get away from their busy lives for a few days!
