Penthouse Apartment in Kato Paphos, Cyprus - Peaceful Location Within Easy Walking Distance of Shops, Restaurants, Bars and Beach

A luxury penthouse apartment on the second floor maintained and updated to a very high standard, this is a top apartment on a prestigious complex.

It comprises a spacious 'L' shaped living/dining area with a large sofa, leather swivel chair and a farmhouse pine dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with luxuries such as a dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge-freezer. There are 2 large, shady bedrooms, one double and a twin bedded, both with extensive storage space.

The air conditioning was upgraded in 2012 to a top of the range Daikin sensor, remote control system which cools gently and diverts the fans away from movement so you're not sitting in a draught! The furniture throughout is good quality traditional pine.

There is free Wi-Fi in the apartment that reaches the pool area on a good day and we have recently upgraded the TV system from satellite local channels to a Droid Box streaming system which receives most UK stations as well as sport and a good selection of films.

Outside is a large south facing balcony with luxury furniture under a shady pergola overlooking the pool and beautiful landscaped gardens. The apartment offers beautiful views over the roof tops of Kato Paphos to the Mediterranean sea, and the balcony, sunny by day, is the perfect place to watch the magnificent sunsets.

This peaceful setting is ideal for getting away from it all whilst remaining close to the vibrant centre of the nightlife and harbour area. The penthouse is suitable for couples and families and combines the independance of a home from home with the convenience of a luxurious and quiet holiday environment.

We stayed at this lovely, well equipped, clean apartment on 30th September for 2 weeks. We have stayed at Paradise Gardens 1 before and again we wasnt disappointed in anyway The apartment had everything you needed, the balcony very spacious with sun loungers on the balcony were very welcomed. Had a fabulous holiday with everything we needed to hand.

Lovely Clean Homely Appartment

I recently stayed for 6 nights in this lovely clean, homely apartment.

It had all the facilities you would expect at home, was clean, bright and a perfect location to chill out in for a week.

15 minutes walk to bar street, 20 minutes walk to the front and all the nice restaurants.

Also 5 minutes from a local supermarket ( to the right of the apartment) and Pambis bar and restaurant, another little gem.

Thank you Andrew and family for also allowing us to check out late on the last day as our flights were not till late in the evening.

Highly Recommended.

Our first family holiday

A lovely peaceful apartment, just perfect for my young family. We have a baby and i was a little worried about taking a holiday abroad but am pleased to say it was an easy experience, i could go about my day to living just as if i was at home. Washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer and the all essential air con. Plenty of room for a travel cot and baby equipment. Large supermarket in the town centre to fill the fridge up.....Breakfast at the dining table, BBQ for lunch on the balcony and ate out for dinner down in the town. I would recommend a car so you can just jump in and go out whenever you like, throw everything in the car and be back home when you need to. Put our baby to bed and enjoyed the view from the balcony or put a film on. Plenty of restaurants to choose from, "Grazies" was my favourite, but "Fat Mammas" was best for entertainment.

We found the apartment to have everything we needed for a comfortable holiday, a real home form home. Good quality fittings, large balcony, very pleasant complex. Could walk to centre in about 20mins. Overall, excellent.

There is a wide range of beaches in the area. Ten minutes walk from Paradise Gardens is a blue flag municipal beach, the big beaches start at Geriskipou to the east of the town and to the west of Paphos stretch superb sand and pebble beaches easily reached by public bus lines. About 7kms distance along the coast is Coral bay, the best beach in western Cyprus. It is a long, curved stretch of golden sand that falls in between two headlands. The beach is well equipped and has calm shallow waters.


The apartment is approximately 15kms (20 minutes) from Paphos airport and taxi transfers or car hire are both available. Car hire is not essential when staying at Paradise Gardens as there is so much to see and do within walking distance or a short taxi ride. There is however alot to see in the area surrounding Paphos so if you did decide to hire a car it would definately not be wasted money! We have explored the beaches at Lara, the Troodos mountains, Nicosia and many other beautiful places.


Apart from the things already mentioned places of interest and entertainment in the area include; the harbour (2kms), Paphos town centre (1.5kms) the Tombs of Kings (3kms), Aphrodite Water Park (3kms), Paphos Bird Park (14kms), Agios Georgios (18kms), Rocks of Aphrodite (20kms) and Aphrodite's Bath (37km)

Being situated between Kato Paphos and the town of Paphos there are numerous shops and supermarkets close by offering a wide array of fresh meats, fruits, breads and salads. The olives and local wines are a particular favourite of ours! About 250m up the street from Paradise Gardens is an excellent local store selling just about everything, and a small restaurant bar for when you just can't be bothered! In the apartment there is a pinboard where our guests and us have pinned cards from various restaurants and activities in the area that we have tried. In the old town of Paphos there is a busy market and beautiful views of the coast from the Cafes.

  • Notes on accommodation: Daikin air-conditioning and ceiling fans are in all the rooms and provide for comfortable nights after the hot summer sunshine. The apartment has been equipped and furnished to a very high standard and all sorts of little extras will be found e.g. books, CD's, DVD's and an assortment of pool and beach toys for children. We have aimed to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for that real home from home holiday. The apartment is strictly non-smoking. Outside: The balcony is fully furnished to include a large patio table with four chairs for alfresco dining and there are two luxury sunloungers for private sunbathing. The patio is part covered by a willow roofed pergola giving a relaxing dappled shade at the hottest time of day. Being south facing the sun is always shing on the balcony except very early in the morning and the sun sets over the sea caing directly at the apartment. The apartment looks out over beautifully kept, mature landscaped gardens with palm trees and in the centre there is a large, luxurious pool and childrens paddling pool for use by guests of the complex only. There is free use of the sunbeds around the pool and we additionally provide 2 beds for the exclusive use of the Penthouse. Shower, toilet and changing facilities are situated at the end of the pool underground. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The beds have plenty of pillows and cotton linen. The towels are large and soft, and along with beach towels, tea towels, flannels and bath mats they are all provided on arrival. If you are staying for 2 weeks then the linen will be changed weekly. Other: The dining area has a large farmhouse table with five chairs and is adjacent to the kitchen are for easy serving. There are lots of mats and bowls for all your serving needs. The alternative dining area is the huge balcony with a large table and chairs
