We live in England we are 2 couples that are friends, we all work, we spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the country.

We love Cala Egos because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Palma airport less than an hours drive away.

You have a lovely apartment in Cala Egos, it was just like home from home and we were all very happy and comfortable here. Such a lovely spot too, quiet and peaceful yet within walking distance to the shops and amenities. We would love to go again sometime. Moss family

Well appointed apartment, comfortable, safe & Secu

This is a lovely second floor well furnished apartment with very spacious living accommodation, 3 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday including a dishwasher and washing machine also a large dining table, there is a large private Balcony with dining table and chairs, it catches the sun all afternoon and is perfik for a light lunch with a bottle of Pinot (or 2)!, it has its own outdoor sunbeds which are well maintained. The apartment is fully air conditioned which is perfect after a hot day down by the pool, its so close to the pool that you can quickly fetch drinks, snacks and anything you want from the apartment, or even catch an afternoon nap in the apartment and still be close to the pool. It has its own Wifi which is always a bonus nowadays. There is a private parking space at the apartment front with its own electric gates. The complex has a large communal pool situated in the centre of the two apartment blocks. It is very close to the lovely marina, the beaches and shopping is just a short walk away. The amazing Cala Mondrago beach set in a national park is just a short drive away.

We ate out at a different restaurant every night and its highly recommended to use the guide in the apartment to help you select places to eat as we did and were never disappointed. We also took many walks, and to be honest you can walk in any direction and discover something, the Marina is wonderful and always full with beautiful boats. We will certainly return next year for a week as we have lots left to discover. We did go to Palma to the Pirate show which was a very entertaining fun evening and highly recommended.

All in all this is a very comfortable well equipped and situated self catering apartment the, perfect base to discover Majorca from, or just laze the days away locally as we did most of the time .

Lovely apartment in great location

We have recently returned from a lovely 10 day break in Cala Egos. The review from the Northern Irish holiday lovers is absolutely bang on with respect to this apartment. Really nicely fitted out, a real home from home. The pool never got crowded and the whole set-up was very safe for us and our extended family (age range 5-15 for the children) who stayed across the pool. We had never been to Cala Egos before and were really impressed with the area, it's only a 5 minutes walk from the apartment and has a great variety of bars and restaurants, all the ones we tried were good, plenty of choice and good value. We also ventured further afield (15 minute walk!) to the Marina, where there are more delightful places to eat and watch how the other half live! Beach at Cala Mondrago was nice and the Starfish boat was a fun half day out. We are already planning a return to the area and wouldn't hesitate to use this apartment. Alison has been really attentive throughout the booking process and after (deposit cheque returned within a couple of days which is nice) all in all a proper 5 star experience.

Fantastic!

We have just returned from a week at this apartment. It was fantastic. It is spacious and well stocked with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The kitchen has all the utensils you need and the cupboards have items left by other guests. The Washing machine and dishwasher were great and the beds were the comfiest I have slept in! The pool is a good size for the 8 apartments and it is a nice depth for swimming and playing. All other guests were nice and there was no rowdiness or bad language. There was a mixture of age ranges which was nice. The location in Cala Egos is good and only a few minutes form the restaurants and a short drive from Cala D'or. There is a buggy, high chair and travelcot for young children. We needed a bed rail for a toddler and the owner arranged for us to rent one. To be honest the beds were low enough and we probably could have done without it. The owners responded to emails in advance of travel and whilst we were there. The wifi wasn't 100% as it was sporadic but was good enough to send and receive what's app messages and email! We had a small issue with the air conditioning in one of the bedrooms and when we contacted the owner they arranged for it to be looked down at. This wouldn't have been a problem as it would have been fixed if the owners had known about it from the previous guests! Highly recommend this property if looking for something in this area.

Loved Cala Egos so much, love the charm of the area, beaches and people. We have been coming to this area for 13 years and have never seen any antisocial behaviour.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is within 5 minutes walk of 2 beaches, both of which are suitable for children, there are also many beautiful beaches within a 15 minute drive of the apartment such as Cala Mondrago and Cala Santanyi.

Travel:

Palma airport is approximately 45 mins drive from the apartment by car or taxi. Car hire is not essential but is recommended if you wish to explore the local attractions, beaches and authentic local villages such as Cala Figuera.

Distances:

The apartment is in Cala Egos which has many facilities including restaurants, bars, supermarket, shops, banks, chemist, doctors surgery and children's play area. For greater diversity Cala D'Or is a 5 minute drive or a 20 minute walk around the picturesque marina.
