This villa is perfectly located if you prefer quiet and privacy, without being too far from the town. You are able to walk into town, however if you are carrying all the beach gear to the ferryboat that takes you to the beach, you might prefer to go to town by car (we did it on foot and it was a very hot walk). There is also a handy supermarket and lovely cafe bar within walking distance, although they are down the dual carriageway with a questionable pavement area.
The villa itself is light and airy with good sized bedrooms and modern bathrooms. The kitchen is clean and modern with everything you could need if you like to cook. We stayed in a lot due to the pandemic and we were short of nothing (except maybe a few more glasses would be good). The outside area was brilliant. The pool area looks brand new and spotless with its artificial grass and lovely fruit trees giving endless sun and shade as required. There is plenty of shaded space to eat at the table by the pool however as the evenings came, we preferred to sit in the cosy terraced area upstairs overlooking the pool, the town and the sea. Watching the sun go down up there was lovely and it almost felt like our own private rooftop restaurant. We really did love our stay, made all the more special by the sadness of the current situation. I'm sure we'll be back, hopefully in better times.
