Peaceful location, 3 bed 2 bath, two terraces stunning views,1km from resort centre, Beach, Marina and Local Golf Course

Casa Vista Mar is in one of Spain's most beautiful regions with all the charm you expect from a Spanish coastal resort. The property is close to the beach and resort centre yet in an exclusive, peaceful residential area and sleeps six comfortably having 2 twin bedrooms 1 king size, all with air con, and two bathrooms. The kitchen and main bathroom have been refurbished to a high standard and the open plan lounge/dining room has also undergone refurbishment to give maximum comfort to guests. Sky TV and wi fi now installed. Central heating/log burner has also been installed. There are two terraces (one sheltered) giving stunning sea/mountain views, a small garden and also the use of a fabulous pool which is restricted to a handful of private villas: nine times out of 10 you will find you have the pool to yourself. There is car port for one car. The property is ideal for couples, families or a quiet break for two. Also very close to the beach, marina, restaurants, bars, fabulous shops, supermarkets and Moraira's famous Friday market.

About Lynda Pownall

Hi, I'm Lynda. My husband Jim and I bought the property after we fell in love with Moraira, it really is a stunning Spanish coastal resort. All low rise buildings beautiful bays and beaches and with a truly authentic Spanish feel. We felt it was perfect for us to enjoy our retirement and for our two sons and their families to enjoy their annual holidays. We have successfully rented since 2005 and had returning guests and excellent feedback. Over the years we have improved the property, refitted the kitchen and bathroom and this year (2018) completely refurbished all the bedrooms, new beds, furniture and accessories. We believe small details make a difference and have done our best to make Casa Vista Mar welcoming and comfortable and a true home from home experience.

Why Lynda Pownall chose Moraira

We travelled extensively along the North Costa Blanca coast and Moraira was just the place we knew we were looking for. We viewed Casa Vista Mar and it just fitted with us beautifully, from the moment we walked in it felt right and, of course, the wonderful view was the icing on the cake. The property is the perfect size to hold six people comfortably, a great out door space on the two terraces, a top terrace to eat and drink and look at the stunning view and a large lower terrace for sunbathing and visiting the pool. The basement bedroom and en-suite for friends to stay with us. We love the house and the area it's set in, a very peaceful residential area. Moraira is a great place from which to explore North Costa Blanca, the beautiful beaches and coves along the coast to the stunning valleys of Jalon, Orba and Gallinera fabulous for walking, cycling or just driving to visit the many villages.

What makes this house unique

The property is so close to the town with shops, boutiques and over 100 restaurants and bars serving international cuisine. Stroll by the marina stopping for morning coffee or an early evening glass of wine or stroll round to the beautiful bay of El Portet to watch the sun go down. For the more adventurous there are action packed water sports available. Moraira has developed into a truly elegant resort with something for everyone.

In cooler months there are controlled central heating radiators in all rooms. A newly installed log burner in the lounge is a fantastic asset and very cosy for winter. There is also an electric towel rail in the main bathroom. All bedrooms have air con/ceiling fans and all other rooms ceiling fans, there is a large floor standing fan in the lounge. The property is in an elevated position so attracts sea breezes. The villa is suitable for children, cot and high chair are available at no extra cost. In the lounge there are two folders with lots of information about Moraira and the surrounding area to help guests get the most out of their stay. There are also games, DVD's, CD's and a large number of books. The Manager of our Service Company is readily available should guests have a problem. Outside: Large and very quiet communal pool restricted to only a handful of private properties. 90% of the time you will have the pool to yourselves as residents never seem to use it. The property has a small garden and two terraces. The upper terrace is very sheltered and an ideal spot for dining, with access from the lounge it gives glorious views of Moraira, El Portet, sea and mountains. The large lower terrace is ideal for sun bathing, there is lots of room for the loungers as well another patio chairs. Umbrellas also available. There is a BBQ in the adjacent storage room together with many items for the enjoyment of children. Utility Room: Washing machine, ironing board, iron, sink, fridge/freezer. Store room with beach equipment including chairs, umbrellas, buckets, spades, fishing nets, a variety of inflatables, body boards, lots of items kindly left by previous guests. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are included (not beach towels). The property is thoroughly cleaned and linen changed after each rental period. Further linen/ cleaning can be arranged, if required, but is charged to guests. Fabulous stay in Moraira, the house had all we needed for a family of 4 with grandparents as well. Air con was lovely on the hot nights and the pool was great, couldn't keep the kids out of it. Great terrace with a lovely view to Moraira. Will definitely be going again

bonne location

Nous avons trouvé cette location au dernier moment. Nous étions un couple avec deux adolescents.

La description de la location est exacte.

La situation est calme et pour nous nous avons apprécié la tranquillité des lieux.

Nous sommes entourés de très belles maisons et nous avions tous les matins le plaisir de voir face à la terrasse une famille d'écureuils.

La location est bien entretenue. La piscine est très bien et effectivement nous étions souvent seul le matin ou en fin de journée au retour de nos visites.

La propriétaire ne parle pas Français mais heureusement nous avons pu utilisé des logiciels de traduction. Lynda est très sympathique.

Je recommande cette location et nous pensons y revenir très prochainement. Nous en avons déjà parlé à nos amis.

La mer est proche à environ 1,5km. La ville de Moraira est très bien ainsi que la Costa Blanca. ( à éviter Benidorm).

Owner's Response: Translation - We found the rental at the last moment, we are a couple with two teenagers. The description is correct, the location is calm and we appreciated the tranquility of the place. We are surrounded by very nice houses and every morning we had the pleasure of seeing a family of squirrels from the terrace. The pool is very good and well maintained. We were often alone in the morning or late afternoon. The owner does not speak French but fortunately we were able to use translation software. Lynda is very friendly. I recommend this property and we expect to return very soon. We have already spoken to our friends. The sea is near about 1.5km. The resort of Moraira is very good and the Costa Blanca (avoid Benidorm!). Happy holiday to all............ Thank you so much Jean-marc for your very kind comments. Special interest holidays:

Easy access to internationally renowned cycle routes along the coast and in the valleys of Jalon, Orba and Gallinera. Serious cyclists can tackle famous climbs such as Coll de Rates in the Jalon Valley. With quiet roads through vineyards and olive groves, through the valley floors and up over the numerous mountain top climbs, you can choose a leisurely 'cruise' or a 'testing climb'. The villa has been used in the off peak season by many cycling and triathlon clubs for winter training.


The main beach in Moraira is 1km or a 20 minute walk directly downhill from the villa and the beautiful bay of El Portet is just around the corner from the Marina. There are other lovely coves in the area with sandy beaches which are very safe for children. Water sports are available from the main beach. Calpe is about 20 minutes away giving a beautiful coastal drive and here you can get boat trips along to Benidorm to the South or Denia to the North. Calpe is famous for its fish restaurants.


Alicante/Valencia are approx 1 hours drive with excellent road/motorway access. Both airports leading out directly onto the main highway.

There is an excellent choice of car hire companies in both airports and these can be booked prior to leaving for Spain. Details available Pick ups can be arrange for guests not wishing to drive although car hire is adviseable. There are ferries from Denia to Ibiza and Majorca and boat trips to Altea Javea Denia and Benidorm are available from Calpe.


Moraira centre 1km. Calpe 20 minutes. Altea 30 minutes. Benidorn 40 minutes. Javea 20 minutes. Denia 40 minutes. Jalon, Orba and Gallinera Valleys 40 minutes. Guadalest and Font Algar 1 hour, Valencia approx 1 1/2 hrs.

Further Details:

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars in Moraira and wonderful coffee shops in front of the marina for that early morning stop. Also to be found are fabulous shops, banks, supermarkets, hair salons, gym and Moraira's famous Friday market. Each evening there is a 'night market'. On the coastal road to Calpe there are many more fabulous restaurants. This stretch of road has a wonderful coastline with plenty of coves for you to explore. Calpe is famous for its fish restaurants and from here you can get a boat to view the fabulous Costa Blanca coast line as you travel north to Javea and Denia or south to Altea and Benidorm. Water sports, fishing, go karting, tennis are just some of the leisure activites on offer. A little further afield Font Algar is a series of waterfalls and rock pools and an ideal place for a leisurely day to swim and picnic. There are some lovely old towns and villages to explore, Altea with its excellent beach, shops and wonderful 'Old Town' and Guadalest, the village perched on top of a rock being two of the most popular. A trip to the beautiful Jalon, Orba and Gallinera valleys makes for a wonderful day out and there are suggested days out by car to be found in the information folder in the villa. For those not wishing to drive too far afield there is an agent in Moraira where trips/tours can be booked. For a more lively day - and night - Bendorm with its theme and water parks and famous Benidorm Palace is just a short distance. For a truly memorable day out Valencia is just over an hour away and the 'hop on hop off' bus is a very easy way to see all that this fabulous city has to offer. There are folders in Casa Visa Mar with lots of information to enable guests to make the most of their stay in Moraira.
