Villa with Private Infinity Pool and Breathtaking Sea Views

Updated: 02-Oct-2016
Villa in Kalkan, Turkey - Peaceful Location, 10 Mins Walk To The Resort

Beautiful detached villa, built in 2004 and recently modernised, designed to maximise the views from it's hillside location, with stunning infinity pool.

Set in private gardens with big pool area and with breathtaking views of the whole of Kalkan bay from all but one bedroom. Set into the hillside, in quiet surroundings, the resort centre is a 10 minute downhill walk.

Please note there are a number of steps from the parking area to the villa entrance, so would not be suitable for anyone with a mobility problem.

"Just a note to thank you both, for allowing us to stay in your lovely villa – such amazing views. It was only a short break but we really enjoyed it and would recommend it to others."

"hi sue and Pete would like to thank you for a truly superb villa ,the holiday was fantastic resort out of this world the people so nice everything was spot on only problem we had was to come home once again, thank you and we hope to go back in near future"

"Your villa is amazing and those views, well, it was dark when we arrived and the pool and security lights were on and we all said WOW. Yusuf and his family looked after us very well. He arranged all our trips for us and a good time was had by all. If we decide to go back to Kallkan your villa will be the place to stay...I have lots of photos to show friends and they will come with first class recommendation. Once again thank you very much"

Excellant lovely villa in June 2016

  • 5 of 5

Dominque thank you. We had a lovely lovely stay at villa Yakamoz. Wonderful villa, wonderful views from the pool. We were looked after so well by Yusuf and his people and anything we required was sorted. The collection and return to the airport and the service that Hassan from Kalkan Taxis gave us through our stay was great. The villa is on a hill, hence the wonderful view, we walked down the hill to Kalkan and took a taxi back at the cost of £2 !!!!!!! Their is a supermarket that will now deliver your shopping to the villa which is great. There are such a lovely variety of restaurants to eat in, we were spoilt for choice. We will all be back to Kalkan and villa Yakamoz

Beautiful Villa with amazing views = 5* Holiday!

  • 5 of 5

We are a Party of two young couples (mid 20's-early 30's) who have just returned from an amazing 1 week stay at the lovely Villa Yakamoz. The villa itself is spacious and well furnished with big sliding doors looking out at those magical views over the infinity pool. It really does look like paradise and just like the photos. The villa was very well equipped with adapters/mosquito plugs/hairdryers/towels/beach towels/washing machine/dishwasher/aircon/BBQ/WIFI the list goes on, there really was everything. The kitchen was really well equipped and there was never anything we needed that we didn't have. We received a welcome pack on arrival which was really appreciated. Dominique and Firdevs were so helpful and sent a 'useful information' document upon booking so everything was clear and we could plan our holiday. Yusuf who manages the villa from Kalkan was also absolutely great and helped us in anyway he could to help us enjoy our holiday. He helped us book an amazing private boat trip one day which was a highlight and also organised a trip to Patara beach and the ancient city ruins for one day. The town of Kalkan is lovely with loads of restaurants to choose from, you can walk from Villa Yakamoz into kalkan and it takes about 10/15 mins. The boys walked back up to the villa one evening when it wasn't so hot, it took them (a tiring) 30 mins and they didn't attempt it again. Thankfully the taxis are really cheap (about £3) and really easy to catch in town and book from the villa using Whatsapp on the wifi so no cost to book. We didn't have a car and didn't need one, but if you are staying longer than a week and looking to travel out of Kalkan a lot you might want to consider getting one. I wish I was still there and had booked 2 weeks instead of 1. I hope to return next year. Thank you.

A gem in a treasure trove

  • 5 of 5

We were a 2 family group that stayed for 2 weeks and will definitely be returning in the future.

Villa Yakamoz is very well appointed, furnished to a high standard with all mod cons and amenities. Stunning views of the bay and the islands throughout the villa, 3 of the 4 bedrooms, balconies and terraces. It is set in a quiet residential area not too close, and not too far from the town, which ensures that you can while away the days in the pool and on the loungers in relative peace and tranquillity. The only disruption to this idyllic bliss is the occasional restaurant owner or staff, who come to promote their restaurant and to entice you into reserving a table for dinner. However, this is easily resolved with a firm "heyir tesekkurler", or no thanks..

Kalkan town is a 15-20 minute walk downhill and a much slower, more strenuous walk back uphill, or as we did, a 13 lira (about £3) journey back in a taxi. Kalkan has an abundance of bars and restaurants all boasting wonderful views of the bay, many of which are from rooftop terraces. There are numerous shops selling traditional goods, as well as the usual tourist knick-knacks and, of course, 'genuine fake' designer handbags, clothing and sportswear.

Firdevs and Dominique are both very professional, accommodating and helpful. As is Yusuf, the property manager, and his team.

I was a little reluctant to write such a glowing review as I didn't want to create competition for a booking for myself, but in the end decided that you need to know about Villa Yakamoz and Kalkan.

Until the next time....

Exceptional Quality, Good Value and Unforgettable

  • 5 of 5

Villa Yakamoz went far beyond our expectations. Superbly located in a quiet area with breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the sea, Islands, resort and coastline whether you are on the terrace, on the balconies or in the infinity pool. We stayed for 9 nights from 24 June and had 12 hours of sunshine daily on the terrace which kept the pool a comfortable temperature.

The villa is furnished to a very high standard, inside and out, with all facilities you could think of and is kept exceptionally clean. The villa description is accurate.

The owners, Firdevs and Dominique are very professional, approachable and accommodating to your needs. Their resort team from 'meet and greet', cleaning, maintenance and any help or advice needed are a great asset.

We found Kalkan to be a really special resort, a hidden gem with spectacular scenery, lovely friendly people and great restaurants. Built on a hillside so not for the elderly or infirm.

The villa is only 5 minutes by taxi to the resort centre.

We have already rebooked to visit again next June and would recommend Villa Yakamoz to friends and family.

From the Owner

After many holidays traveling around Turkey, we found Kalkan the best place to settle down and we fell in love at first sight with villa Yakamoz we just acquired in may 2015.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Dalaman at 130 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Kalkan pebble beach at 1.5 Kilometres Car: recommended

Beautiful Kaputas beach, situated at the bottom of a ravine 10 minutes by car, whilst Patara beach, voted the best beach in world, with 18 kms of white sand is a 15 minute drive.

With the absence of mass tourism, Kalkan remains a charming and unspoilt haven of lush mountain landscape and crystal clear sea. The area is rich in historic architecture and ancient history. The ancient sites of Xanthos, Letton, Pinara, Tlos and Patara are all close by.

Stunning uninterrupted view from the infinity pool, terrace and sleeping room. Near enough to town centre but a more quiet environment.
