Already booked our 4th visit for next year!
We agree the East Coast of Barbados is spectacular and we enjoy sharing it and finding new locations to share with our visitors. Always happy to welcome, share and show off this side of the Island.
About the Owner
After having visited friends living in Barbados we found we were coming back to the Island more frequently so decided to build a house here. We moved here on a more permanent basis upon completion in 2005.
We used the local workforce to help build the property and many of these have now become our friends. So if you are in the village and mention you are staying with us, you are sure of a big welcome.
Having worked in the Building Trade all his working life, Eric keeps the property up to a very high standard and has now become a bit of a tourist guide for our guests.
Louise has worked in Local Government for over 24 years and was also a Magistrate in the UK.
We have 2 sons, a daughter in law and 2 grandchildren who enjoy coming to visit not only us but our beautiful Island.

Relaxing, friendly, enjoyable, helpful host and a beautiful place to stay.
I only have one negative about this place, I neglected to book a long enough stay. We all enjoyed our stay here equally, from our ages of four to fifty three, there was plenty for us all to enjoy and remember. Plus we made some new and fabulous friends.
If your looking for a nicely priced, lovely located and a friendly atmosphere to spend your stay in Barbados without too many tourist in your face, you need look no further.

I'm tempted to keep this wonderful place to myself! If you want to live like a local and explore the real Barbados you can't do better than to stay here. The villa is modern, breezy and clean and Eric and Louise are wonderful hosts, giving you privacy if you want it, but more than happy to show you places and people that most visitors will never come across. The East coast is the undeveloped side of the Island, with minimal Tourist traps, wonderful coastline, and laid back, friendly people. Keep al look out for the family of monkeys that play in the pasture behind the garden most morning and evenings. I can't recommend this property highly enough.
Home from home!
A wonderful 10 day break at Louric. The apartment it is so comfortable, modern and well equipped....a home away from home! Both Eric and Louise were perfect hosts with a fountain of knowledge about 'de island', suggesting places to visit, eat and drink.
Waking up to the sea view, Louric is set in beautiful surroundings. Breakfast on the balcony with a slight sea breeze...bliss! Relax by the pool and to the occasional sounds of Black Bellied Sheep and monkeys.
I didn't want to leave, so I will be back!!
Amazing holiday 👍🏻
What an amazing holiday - all thanks to Louise and Eric. Stayed at their wonderful apartment that is situated on the south east of the island in St Philip. This is the second time we have stayed here but this year a pool has been installed at the property. Ideal for relaxing all day at the house or coming back for a quick dip after a day sight seeing. Our 4 year old daughter loved the pool and learned to swim within days. Stayed here for one week at the start of our holiday, got married, went on honeymoon for 2 weeks then returned for one more week before heading back to the UK. Ideal place to stay to relax and great base to see what the island has to offer.
I would highly recommend this apartment and cannot thank Louise and Eric for all the help in our preparations for our wedding. Great hosts and we will be back.
As Arnie said - "I'll be back"
What can I tell you about this place? You will want for nothing! A great apartment, really well equipped, modern, clean, tidy. The swimming pool is such a great feature too.
Eric and Louise will make you feel at home, guide you to the attractions the island has to offer, make you laugh, (we did a lot of laughing, may have been down to the rum which is of course made locally?).
I can't recommend this place enough, I had a fantastic 2 week stay, was made to feel most welcome, as a single traveller it was as if I was visiting old friends. I will most definitely be back!
Quiet, clean, cool breezes - what more could you w
This is the second time we have stayed with Eric and Louise, and it won't be the last. The apartment is spacious, breezy and very well equipped. The area is well away from the tourist traps of the west coast, but only 15 minutes by car, and on a main bus route. Eric and Louise will be happy to answer any questions, give you tips on the best places to visit, but will give you privacy if that's what prefer. I can't recommend this property highly enough. The East Coast is definitely the place to experience the real Barbados
From the Owner
“We chose this area because our friends live in St. Philip and having travelled around we realised that this particular site gave us several options. We have the wonderful views, excellent walks, the cool breeze, the beauty of being in the country where the air is fresh but with the ability to access the city and the tourist areas by car or by bus. The property is set on the South East of the Island and is very close to the area of Bathsheba where the scenery is not only beautiful but is a surfer's paradise. We also get the monkeys. Being here is like having our own secret part of the Island as it is only 20 minutes from the airport, peaceful, relaxing but close enough to all the tourists attractions to enable everyone to enjoy a holiday here.”
