Iris Cottage is on a small complex of town-houses forming a quadrangle containing well landscaped communal gardens and large pool. The property is set back to one corner of the quadrangle and very well landscaped to provide a secluded rear patio area for dining and sun bathing. The property is centrally located for easy access to the seafront and harbour of Kato Paphos, as well as Bar Street and a large selection of restaurants. The old town of Paphos set on the hill is also easy to access.

We had a wonderful time in Cyprus. Your lovely house was just perfect for us - quiet location but not too far away from things if you wanted. The house was very well stocked with all you need - a real home from home and very spacious especially the bedrooms. When the sun was too hot to sit in any longer we retreated back to the patio which was in the shade - perfect for sitting with a bottle of wine! The whole process was very easy - from first contacting you to actually arriving in Cyprus. To sum up - perfect, perfect, perfect. Hopefully we would love to go back sometime in the future -Sue and family, July 2013

The town house is located in the 'Universal' area of Paphos. It benefits being in a small but well establish complex completed by Pafilia in 2004, and maintained by Blue Orange. It is very well located for walking to the sea front of Kato Paphos and old town of Paphos, and for use of the cafes, bars and harbour area. For those who hire a car, there is plenty of off-street parking on the complex. The property is light and airy, being an end property with additional side windows. It also provides a relatively private setting, with a mature Hibiscus boundary hedgerow and well planted rear garden/ terrace and seating area. The main bedroom benefits from a balcony with views of the complex's gardens. The rear patio is an attractive private area to enjoy outdoor eating with outdoor table and 4 chairs. Whilst the attractive, well planted communal gardens contains a large communal pool, with separate shower and toilet facility building. There is a good size sun bathing area around the pool, with the owners own sun beds being available

the only problem was too much noise from nearby building site, plus the fact that for two consecutive days there was a lot of noise from front & back of property with people using petrol hedge trimmers & chainsaws cutting hedges & trees very close to cottage. This should be done when property is empty so I was not happy about this.

Exactly as it says on the tin !

The 3 of us had a wonderful time. Everything is as described. We enjoyed the pool, the little garden and the proximity to all amenities. Pambis was great. Andy, next door, was very considerate in stocking the fridge with a few essentials, (Milk and Juice, etc), in advance of our late arrival - much appreciated. We flew to Larnaca on the new Cobalt service. It's only a 1.5 hour run with the hire car and worked well. Sodap beach was our favourite Paphos Beach. We enjoyed the Troodos Mountains drive, up to 5,600', and visit to Kykkos Monastery on a day trip – some of the villages are spectacular in how they cling to the steep slopes of the mountain sides. Swimming from the boat out of Latchi at Blue Lagoon was also a highlight. It was hot in August and the aircon was a blessing. Many thanks for a huge contribution to a great holiday

I am pleased you enjoyed your 11 day stay in August at Iris Cottages, and that it met your expectations, whilst enjoying the large pool on the complex and my small but private and well screened garden, and pleased you appreciated the fridge essentials that Andy left for your arrival. I am also very glad that you enjoyed doing alot of site-seeing. I am pleased you were able to visit the beautiful Troodos Mountains and swim at the Blue Lagoon, whilst also experiencing some of Cyprus's rich heritage, such as Kykkos Monastery, and the mosaics in Paphos. Although you had to travel some way by flying into Larnaca, you had the benefit of the hire car and the opportunity of seeing some lovely places well beyond the Paphos area. There is so much to do in Cyprus that it is sometimes difficult to choose. But I am impressed. I am also impressed by your separate response to me in regard to car-hire. In particular, your professional way in which you engaged the car hire. 'You can never be too careful' is an appropriate adage in today's car hire business. I have given 5 out of 5 star on the Ownersdirect feedback for my guests. It remains for me to say that you are most welcome to stay again anytime.

Fantastic stay at Iris Cottage

Arrived for our stay at Iris cottages..on the 8/07/2017. Picked up from the airport and just a 20 minute taxi ride to the house which was well equipped for our stay and had the essentials (tea,coffee etc) in the cupboards.

There is a farm shop nearby which stocked everything we needed during our stay.

Andy next door ( property manager) was always to hand if we needed any help....even printed off our boarding passes to return home as we completely forgot about them !!!!

Would definitely recommend Iris cottage and will be returning again.

Quite Relaxing Holiday.

Just spent 11 days at John's cottage, and agree with the previous reviews posted. From the first contact with John (the owner) to the time we left everything went like clockwork. We found the cottage as advertised. Taxi arranged by Andy next door was waiting at the airport, the cost is cost 30 euros to the cottage. We ate out each night and can honestly say we never had a bad meal. Do try Pambis Diner around the corner we went there twice for an evening meal and could not fault it for both the quality of the food and also very good prices. The pool area was very quite while we were there with only seven people around the pool at any one time.The only negative comment I could make would be, that if there was more people around the pool there would not be enough

sun beds. Having said that my wife and I would certainly recommend Iris cottage for a quite relaxing holiday.

Quality accommodation in a good location and at a very good price

Just returned from 3 weeks in Cyprus with the last 2 weeks staying at this lovely place. Everything you could every want in one place!!

It was as easy as 1,2,3 from the start of the booking process to handing back the keys.

As soon as I made contact with John I had replies giving up to the minute details on the process and requirements (all i needed being a Owners Direct first timer).

The directions to the house from the airport are first class and we arrived in good time to collect the keys from Andy and Tres next door.

Andy and Tres are valuable sources of information and are always willing to help or offer advice.

The house is situated in a nice location far enough (but not too far) from the hustle and bustle of Paphos. We had a hire car for the duration because we wanted to travel around the island but if it is your intention to stay within the bounds of Paphos then there is a very good bus service (and very cheap too).

The communal swimming pool is a lovely place to relax if you want to stay away from the beach at Coral Bay.

Definitely recommend Pambis Diner round the corner if you want a no fuss meal (including breakfast) or if you want the local cuisine then go to The 7 St Georges Tavern (need to book and closed Mondays) just check out Trip Adviser for this one.

Overall the place was beautiful, clean and had everything required for a pleasant stay and i would recommend this place to anyone young or old. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Location

Coast/Beach:

A 20 minute walk from Iris Cottage will take you to the local beaches in Kato Paphos. However if you want a trip to Coral Bay there is a very good bus service which will drop you right there!

Travel:

Paphos airport is 15 minutes drive from Iris Cottages.

You can hire a car to explore a little, however the position of the house is such that many local amenities are within walking distance.

Distances:

Pambis Diner is just 5 minutes walk away. Bar Street is 20 minutes walk away.

'The Garden of Eden' or Russian Market, with local fresh produce is 5 minutes by car.
