Royal Palm is an Andulusian village style resort set in superb exotic gardens, nestling quietly in the foothills of Los Cristianos. It is located in the exclusive Oasis Del Sur area of Tenerife near the prestigious resorts of Paradise Park and Hollywood Mirage. The beautiful completely refurbished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is situated in a highly maintained complex with a warm and relaxing ambience. Located on the top floor, the apartment is designed for comfortable living and can sleep 4-6 people. The apartment occupies prime position at Royal Palm, the large south facing double width balcony overlooks one of the two beautiful pools on the complex and enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, town and ocean. The balcony receives the sun all day and also enjoys spectacular sunsets. There are large sunbathing areas set amongst lush tropical gardens. Plenty of restaurants and bars are available in the immediate vicinity, all reasonably priced. Car hire is not necessary.

A lovely, spacious apartment

I stayed here with my husband and 2 young daughters. It is the perfect size for a family of 4, with spacious rooms, plenty of light and well laid out.

We loved the position of the apartment too: it was quiet and completely private being high up and away from the pool, as well as having a sea view in the distance from the large balcony. The apartment had everything we needed and plenty of storage space.

The only slight negative was that the kids bedroom backed onto the road which was a bit noisy last thing at night with music from the restaurants/bars and in the morning with traffic. However the music was always finished by 10pm so didn't bother them too much. The main bedroom on the other hand was lovely and quiet for us adults, being on the other side.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to others and would go back there again ourselves.

Royal Palm is renowned as the one of the best complexes in Los Cristianos, if not in Tenerife. The community is very strong with a well organised management committee, meaning the complex is very well managed, maintained and looked after, keeping the facilities as good as new all year around. One of our family purchased off plan when Royal Palm was built so having been there many years ago I decided that one day I would like to own there too - it is the ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

The volcanic nature and evolution of Tenerife has created a few 'natural' beaches, all of a fine black shingle or sand. High quality, man made beaches are now plentiful. Most have excellent access, meeting stringent European standards of cleanliness and most offer shower facilities, sun beds, sun shades and water-sports. The nearest beach which faces the harbour is a 10 minute walk and Las Vistas beach is a further 5 minutes away.


The nearest airport is Sur Reina Sofia (TFS) which is approximately 10-15 minutes drive away, and should cost no more that 25 euros by taxi. Car hire is not essential but free parking is available right outside the apartment should you choose to hire.

With the wonderful harbour as its focal point, Los Cristianos has managed to retain some of the architecture and character of its original incarnation as a sleepy fishing village. The beaches are superb and there are plenty of excursions running from the harbour area, such as whales and dolphins sightseeing, fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottomed boats and diving excursions. The unspoilt and picturesque Island of La Gomera is just 75 mins away by ferry and well worth a visit. You can walk for miles along the excellent coastal path that leads all the way to Playa de las Americas and beyond. You can even walk over the Chayofa mountain. The town, with its many pedestrianised streets, has all the usual tourist shops and banks but also an excellent variety of shops that have not lost their local Spanish flavour. With a choice of over 130 local and international restaurants, you will have no trouble eating well, and live music can be found in many of the bars. For those of you seeking entertainment after a sun soaked day on the beach or round the pool then Los Cristianos should certainly have something to your liking. With a vast array of pubs, restaurants and bars the town's nightlife caters for a mature, family clientele.

Bookings are not taken from all male/female groups.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is normally Friday, however with flights departing daily we can be flexible on changeover days subject to availability.

Notes on prices:
Prices are £53 per night for 1-2 people (based on the use of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom only) and £61 per night for up to 4 people (full use of apartment). An extra £5 per night applies for up to 5 people and £10 per night for up to 6. Prices are the same year around except for Xmas/New Year when a supplement of £10 per night is applicable. Prices are for the property per night in UK Pounds. We do not charge for infants (under 2) or the use of our cot.

  • Notes on accommodation: This beautiful apartment is ideally suited for families with old or young children or two couples sharing a holiday. Recently refurbished, the apartment has been a real success with many visitors coming back again and again. Located in a quiet part of Los Cristianos and only 10 minutes walk from the town centre, seafront and golden sandy beaches. Outside: The central area of Royal Palm is called the plaza and to each side of this are two freeform swimming pools and a small children's pool. One pool is heated from October to April. The pool areas attract the sun all day, there are sun loungers, parasols, seating areas, toilets and pool showers. There is a lifeguard on duty 7 days a week. There is an overnight security guard during peak times, on site launderette and telephone boxes. Calls can also be made to and from the apartment phone. The owners' office is open for information, newspapers, postcards, trip bookings & safe deposit boxes. There is a well stocked local supermarket and taxi rank close by. There are many high quality cafes, bars and restaurants in neighbouring roads. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen, with the exception of beach towels, are provided and changed weekly. Additional cleaning can be provided, if required (please advise when booking). We do not provide linen or blankets for cot if booked. Other: Beautiful large private south facing double width balcony with fantastic 270 degree views of the town, sea and mountains.
