Royal Palm is an Andulusian village style resort set in superb exotic gardens, nestling quietly in the foothills of Los Cristianos. It is located in the exclusive Oasis Del Sur area of Tenerife near the prestigious resorts of Paradise Park and Hollywood Mirage. The beautiful completely refurbished 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment is situated in a highly maintained complex with a warm and relaxing ambience. Located on the top floor, the apartment is designed for comfortable living and can sleep 4-6 people. The apartment occupies prime position at Royal Palm, the large south facing double width balcony overlooks one of the two beautiful pools on the complex and enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, town and ocean. The balcony receives the sun all day and also enjoys spectacular sunsets. There are large sunbathing areas set amongst lush tropical gardens. Plenty of restaurants and bars are available in the immediate vicinity, all reasonably priced. Car hire is not necessary.

Royal Palm is renowned as the one of the best complexes in Los Cristianos, if not in Tenerife. The community is very strong with a well organised management committee, meaning the complex is very well managed, maintained and looked after, keeping the facilities as good as new all year around.

One of our family purchased off plan when Royal Palm was built so having been there many years ago I decided that one day I would like to own there too - it is the ideal retreat for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Notes on accommodation: This beautiful apartment is ideally suited for families with old or young children or two couples sharing a holiday. Recently refurbished, the apartment has been a real success with many visitors coming back again and again. Located in a quiet part of Los Cristianos and only 10 minutes walk from the town centre, seafront and golden sandy beaches. Outside: The central area of Royal Palm is called the plaza and to each side of this are two freeform swimming pools and a small children's pool. One pool is heated from October to April. The pool areas attract the sun all day, there are sun loungers, parasols, seating areas, toilets and pool showers. There is a lifeguard on duty 7 days a week. There is an overnight security guard during peak times, on site launderette and telephone boxes. Calls can also be made to and from the apartment phone. The owners' office is open for information, newspapers, postcards, trip bookings & safe deposit boxes. There is a well stocked local supermarket and taxi rank close by. There are many high quality cafes, bars and restaurants in neighbouring roads. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen, with the exception of beach towels, are provided and changed weekly. Additional cleaning can be provided, if required (please advise when booking). We do not provide linen or blankets for cot if booked. Other: Beautiful large private south facing double width balcony with fantastic 270 degree views of the town, sea and mountains. Large retractable awning, table and 4 chairs with parasol, 4 sunloungers, all with padded cushions. Clothes airer. Cot available.

Lovely, bright apartment with sunny balcony

We had a fabulous 11 night stay in this apartment. Lots of space for 4 adults and a 3 year old, very clean with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The balcony is great, sun from around lunchtime until it sets, space to eat and lie out with beautiful views. My daughter loved the heated pool which was still on at the beginning of our holiday. There is also a really good roof top play area just down the hill with trampolines, a bouncy castle and loads of slides. Great fun for the kids and tired our daughter out.

The apartment is in a great location with a supermarket 2 minutes away, lots of bars and restaurants close by and the beach is only a 10 minute walk.

We have stayed in this area of Los Cristianos many times and this is one of the best apartments we have rented. Would highly recommend and the fact there are 2 bathrooms is an added bonus for adults sharing.

Lovely spacious apartment with lovely views to the sea.Very close to all restaurants and bars

We in-house our stay very much at this apartment.

Lovely views with sun on the balcony all day.

Nice and private too.

Every thing you would need provided by the owner with good communication. Shops, bars and restaurants also super market just a 5 minute stroll away. I oils deffinatly recommend this lovely apartment to anyone. Only negative Is the front bedroom was rather noisy from taxi drivers shouting and traffic noise. Other than that excellent stay in all.

Spacious, clean apartment in a good location.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of good restaurants close to the apartment and a children's play area and supermarket just a few steps down the hill. Los Christianos is quite hilly, but this location isn't too high up - we walked to & from the beach fairly easily with 3 children under 11. Apartment itself was clean and airy with a great terrace and kitchen was well equipped for self catering. Complex is well maintained and quiet with a couple of nice pools but not somewhere we'd want to stay all day as there's lots more going on nearby. I would certainly stay here again - good value for money.

Well equipped, good position

Apartment very well equipped and comfortable. Terrace sunny majority of day. Would have liked more comfortable loungers & chairs to make best use of terrace. Lots of bars and restaurants very close or easy walk into Los Cristianos. Would definitely come back.

Fantastic Apartment

Loved staying at Steve's apartment. It had everything you needed, clean, comfortable and the balcony was so big with amazing views of the resort. The location of the apartment was ideal with a great choice of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. We will definitely be back!

Very nice

Enjoyed it overall, but two problems. We have stayed here three times and the wifi has never worked. It shouldn't be advertised on the site. Also there is a barrier blocking entry so we couldn't get our car onto the site.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear you had a couple of issues while away. The barrier is very new and has only just been added as part of the new perimeter fencing to the complex. I have now managed to obtain a key fob which is available to any guests wishing to bring a car into the complex (note there are also car parking spaces just outside the complex). We have never had any issues with the wifi other than the odd reset of the wifi name if there is a powercut in LC (I can supply both names that potentially appear with the passcode before arrival). I can confirm that the wifi was working in the week before your stay and is currently working - the connection is actually faster than most areas of the UK can obtain. If you do have any issues while away please do not hesitate to contact me or the onsite management office - they are there resolve any issues during your stay on the rare occasion that there are any problems. The volcanic nature and evolution of Tenerife has created a few 'natural' beaches, all of a fine black shingle or sand. High quality, man made beaches are now plentiful. Most have excellent access, meeting stringent European standards of cleanliness and most offer shower facilities, sun beds, sun shades and water-sports. The nearest beach which faces the harbour is a 10 minute walk and Las Vistas beach is a further 5 minutes away.


The nearest airport is Sur Reina Sofia (TFS) which is approximately 10-15 minutes drive away, and should cost no more that 25 euros by taxi. Car hire is not essential but free parking is available right outside the apartment should you choose to hire.

Further Details:

With the wonderful harbour as its focal point, Los Cristianos has managed to retain some of the architecture and character of its original incarnation as a sleepy fishing village. The beaches are superb and there are plenty of excursions running from the harbour area, such as whales and dolphins sightseeing, fishing trips, pleasure cruises, glass bottomed boats and diving excursions. The unspoilt and picturesque Island of La Gomera is just 75 mins away by ferry and well worth a visit. You can walk for miles along the excellent coastal path that leads all the way to Playa de las Americas and beyond. You can even walk over the Chayofa mountain. The town, with its many pedestrianised streets, has all the usual tourist shops and banks but also an excellent variety of shops that have not lost their local Spanish flavour. With a choice of over 130 local and international restaurants, you will have no trouble eating well, and live music can be found in many of the bars. For those of you seeking entertainment after a sun soaked day on the beach or round the pool then Los Cristianos should certainly have something to your liking. With a vast array of pubs, restaurants and bars the town's nightlife caters for a mature, family clientele.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of 50% of total, with the balance due 2 months prior to departure. Please note that a refundable security deposit of £200 is payable with the balance. Full payment is required for all bookings within 2 months of departure date. A named responsible adult over the age of 21 is required for all bookings. Bookings are not taken from all male/female groups.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is normally Friday, however with flights departing daily we can be flexible on changeover days subject to availability. Please note that bookings starting or ending on a Sunday incur an additional £25 cleaning fee.

Notes on prices:
Prices are £59 per night for 1-2 people (based on the use of 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom only) and £69 per night for up to a family of 4. An extra £5 per night applies for families of up to 5 people and £10 per night for families up to 6.

Prices are the same year around except for Xmas/New Year when a supplement of £10 per night is applicable. A supplement of £10 per night is also applicable where 2 couples are looking to share the apartment.

Prices are for the property per night in UK Pounds. We do not charge for infants (under 2) or the use of our cot.
