Studio apartment with hallway, bathroom and large loggia. Corner kitchen with 2 ring hob, oven and grill, washing machine and sink. Portable air-conditioning and heater, so enjoy a break any time of year. Living area with very comfortable double bed, which will be made up and ready for your arrival, and a single adult size sofa bed, plenty of storage, table and chairs on the balcony which can be used with the shutters up for dining outside or down creating a dining room inside. Fully equipped, ample space for a couple, or couple with a child or teenager, looking for a beach holiday or as a base for exploring the wonderful South of France. Great for a long weekend or short break any time of year, restful and peaceful but with still enough to see and do all year.

Our holiday was amazing, your apartment was just right for us. The sofa bed was really comfy ( I was surprised at that :) ) Everything we needed was there, we had breakfast on your balcony every morning and I loved tripping to the shops and market for supplies. Your information was really helpful in getting around and recommending restaurants. Great location, and can't wait to go back again, a truly beautiful place.

We stayed for 10 days in the apartment in June, ideal location on the mariner with many restaurants, bars and shops. Also a great location to explore this corner of France no matter what your after from water sports to museums. The apartment is on the small side but has everything you need for a self catering stay. I would fully recommend this apartment for a lovely stay on the south coast of France.

Great Modern Flat

My girlfriend and I stayed in this flat mid August after visiting relatives nearby. From the start they were very accommodating, allowing us to stay for 4 days, rather than the minimum 5. Contact with them was easy and quick. When we arrived they met us, showed us around, how to access the pool, and gave us some directions and advice about the local area. They also offered to give us a lift back to the local airport (for a reasonable price)

It was definitely the cheapest place in the surrounding area we found, yet in an excellent area (very short walk to the beach, harbour and right near (but not actually on) a busy shopping street.

The flat itself was so much more than we were expecting - for once it's a property that looks significantly better in the flesh than in pictures online. Very well equipped, modern, clean and very nicely furnished. Couldn't recommend enough for 2 people.

The pool area (that was only accessible by residents of the block of flats) was also really nice, a decent size, not too busy and in glorious sun for most of the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay there and would definitely recommend.

lovely break

We had a lovely 5 night stay here in July. The studio apartment is in a very convenient location near to the harbour and has everything you could possibly need close by, including a high quality bakery. The apartment is very clean and very well equipped. The English owners were very friendly and helpful. Parking is very convenient near by.

This is a very good base for visiting this area of France and we would recommend staying here. It would have been nice to have stayed longer than 5 nights as there is so much to see in this area.

the appartment isd situated within seconds of the vibrant harbour of cap d,age. there were many things going on on the port and we had a lovelyt ime. the appartment was so well equipped and spotlessly clean. the owners were so helpful,and pleasant apart from the noise of the maintenance work which they were in no way responsible for, the appartment was exactly as described. the port is full of bars restaurants, and is a lively buzzing harbour, I would heartily recommend this for an unforgettable holiday for the young and with it holiday makers. buy a ground floor for the old and decrepit nigel and we will be back. thankyou again for everything, rosemary whitaker

Owner's Response: This was an unexpected and delightful addition to the response already made. We are so pleased they appreciated our efforts and the apartment. We do indeed make every effort to ensure that anyone who chooses our apartment is pleased with what they find when they arrive. We like our apartment to be rented but it means just as much to us that our guests have an enjoyable holiday. Unfortunately things out of our control are frustrating for everyone, and because of complaints regarding the timing of the work it all came to an abrupt standstill the day after our guests left! This type of work is never normally done after around Eastertime as obviously people are starting their holidays. We are aware that it was a difficult situation for them with the mobility scooter and have queried certain aspects of the resort with the authorities. Some blocks don't have a lift at all and those that do are always for 4 people so again rather too small for anyone with mobility issues. We very much hope that they went on to have some relaxing time elsewhere.

uncomfortable noise

We were unfortunate to stay during some major maintainence work . that the owners did not know about , the noise of 2 compressors and a generator during the day, was just to much, we had to leave. This is a very nice apartment , well located, but totally unsuitable for a disabled person or electric scooter user. big problems getting the scooter in the lifts, this must be made clear on the advertising, The owners were good enough to grant a partial refund. and we found another holiday.

Lovely Apartment

Spent a short break in this apartment which is one of the cleanest and best equipped we have stayed in. It sits in a very central and accessible area within Cap D'Agde, with a great variety of resteraunts and shops nearby.

The Marina in Cap D'Adge is also very nice and a walk along the waterfront is a great way to spend an hour or two.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful and keen to ensure that we were settled and comfortable. As well as the high standard of equipment in the apartment they had very thoughtfully left a wealth on information on things you can do and see in this lovely part of France.

Was a great break in a lovely setting.

Location

Having driven from Nice to Narbonne one glorious May I fell in love with the Languedoc area and decided I needed a bolt hole from a stressful job in the UK. In 2006 I decided on the Cap d'Agde area as it is central to so many interesting places and the immediate vicinity has so much to offer. You can exit the main front door and walk only a few metres to high quality restaurants, tempting shops, classy cafes and of course the very pretty and tranquil centre port marina. We have spent many happy hours "promenading" along the marina and also enjoying the cafes, looking out onto the marina with a café au lait or glass of wine. Even in autumn or winter months this can be enjoyed as the sun continues on into the colder months here.

The location is idea for all water sports including:

kite surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving, paragliding, sailing, water skiing and fun activities e.g. banana boat, jet ski etc.

Coast/Beach:

Mole beach pleasant 10 min walk away, lovely sandy beach with restaurants and shops surrounding. Richelieu beach reached by 10 min boat trip from marina or 5 mins in the car. Lovely sandy beach with luxury sunbeds available for small cost. Restaurants and water sports available. Naturist beach 5 mins in car located on naturist complex, and also Serignan Plage 25 mins.

Travel:

Airports: the local airport is Beziers (BZH) and Ryanair fly into it from: Bristol, Luton, Manchester & Edinburgh. Flybe also fly from Southampton. Note transfers are available at an additional cost - depending on which airport. Please ask for a quote.

Distances:

Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc. 30km north of Beziers, mountains and rocky gorges, great canoeing on the Orb. Narbonne - pretty town with a famous cathedral.

Agde - old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Good market and excellent seafood restaurants. Pezenas - lovely Renaissance town centre, with artisans workshops and plenty of restaurants. Good food market on Saturdays.

Further Details:

Large public car park 2 minutes walk from apartment with ample spaces, close and convenient. With CCTV police monitoring and local police station situated in the parking area (fee payable June - August 40 Euros for a week). Free all other times. ATMs are located on the marina (4 mins walk) which accept all major cards.

There are many typically "French" and very beautiful towns and villages a short distance from the apartment. Sete, Serignan, Marseillan, Bessan, Pezenas to name a few. Their traditional architecture is something to marvel. The larger towns and cities are well worth a visit, Carcassone, Montpellier, Beziers. There are a variety of activities available, Golf, Aqualand, all the water sports you could imagine, and of course lazing on one of several beaches! Lots to do for children, Mole beach a short walk from the apartment is a favourite. The Isle de Loisirs has an abundance of rides and kiddy treats, also animal parks and aquariums.
