Don't stay here - you won't want to leave !

  • 5 of 5

We have just a wonderful few days at this gorgeous cottage. The location is superb - only a few footsteps away from the beach. The pictures on the website do not do it justice - the views are not only from the garden but from the front windows too - you can sit in bed with a cup of tea and look out over the cove and out to sea. The garden is walled, sheltered, sunny and private. Sennen Cove is beautiful - it's a very tranquil place but also with plenty to do - on our next visit we intend to book our kids into the surf school. We had a lovely walk to Lands End and back. Also saw a show at the Minack Theatre (at the end of the show a full blood red moon rose up over the horizon - it was very special). The fish and chip shop sells the best crab sandwiches you are ever likely to eat.

We loved this place, our only hesitation in recommending it to others is the desire to keep it a secret !

New Zealand

A great little place to stay

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Surf Cottage. Coming from New Zealand we are used to moden conveniences and had expected to compromise during our stay. However, we were overjoyed to find a warm, dry and wonderfully congenial little cottage that far exceeded our expectations. Very clean & tidy. Everything works and sitting around the fire with a storm raging outside and the surf pounding on the beach is just the best experience; very romantic!

It's just a short sprint to the pub down the road and to the shops. We didn't want to leave. This is a great little house. We will definately come back during the summer time and enjoy the fabulous beach next door. We have no problems in recomending this property.

Beach heaven

  • 5 of 5

Lovely homely cottage, with a fantastic walled garden for privacy and a short walk from a fabulous, pristine beach. I went to sleep with the sound and salty smell of the sea, how good is that? With a great cafe, shop, chip shop and pub all just a beach-front walk away you can relax and enjoy a very special UK break. The main topic of discussion was when could we return!

The main en-suite bedroom makes you feel special and two bathrooms means you don't have to queue. Washing machine and dryer and a good range of cooking equipment helped enhance our stay. The information provided was very useful and we were spoiled for choice. Best of all though, the nearby beach, stunning walks and overall ambience that will transform you into a new person! Enjoy - we really did!!
