Sleeping 4 people comfortably, our modern detached villa is located in its own private garden within the quiet, well maintained and exclusive development of La Sella. In a beautiful location with views over Montgo Natural Park. Villa guests have a choice of fabulous swimming pools. Unlimited WiFi is available in the villa at a small charge. A tennis centre, riding stables, cafe/bar restaurant, restaurants, mini-supermarket and pharmacy are all close by. The resort also boasts a 27 hole golf course. Through the rental of this villa, you also have access to exclusively discounted mountain activities such as mountain biking and walking. La Sella is only 15 minutes drive from the sandy beaches, shops and restaurants of Denia and Javea plus the fabulous shopping centre of Portal de la Marina with cinemas. Private off-road parking.

About Sarah and Gary Neal

We moved to a mountain village in Spain in 2003 to run mountain activity holidays which we still do. As keen tennis players we discovered the La Sella resort with its fabulous tennis centre and spent many hours there. We loved the resort and it's location and decided to buy our villa in 2005. We enjoy the peacefulness of La Sella and in particular the amazing views towards Montgo National Park - a big reason we bought this particular villa. From our mountain base, we provide mountain biking and walking holidays for people of all grades - we offer great deals to people staying at our villa! Being so active, when our villa is not let out, there is nothing we prefer more than to stay there and relax at the pools and stroll out in the evenings to one of the local restaurants - perfect!

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation at the villa is on one level accessed via steps. Garden chairs, tables and loungers are provided. Bedrooms and lounge have multi-speed ceiling fans. Electric heaters are available for cooler winter evenings. Sorry, pets not allowed. Outside: Terrace: A large terrace ideal for al fresco dining with views over Montgo Natural Park. Garden: The private garden has a large patio area for sunbathing, with a number of shady areas ideal for siesta times. Utility Room: Washing machine, airer, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels (bath/hand not beach) are provided and changed weekly with cleaning if required.

Good, very clean villa with fine communal pools.

Sarah and Gary's villa has all you need for a family or couples holiday. It was clean and comfortable and the view of a mountain from the front is lovely. Also, having a 2nd, en-suite bathroom was a bonus. Sarah was very helpful and the information folder provided is comprehensive.

The communal, cascading swimming pools are lovely, although are lacking some shade, with no sunbeds or umbrellas.Kids love the waterfalls and selection of different pools.

Just a suggestion, for visitors arriving on Sunday afternoon, when shops are closed ,a basic welcome pack would be most...erm...welcome.

Just some water, bread and maybe milk and tea would suffice, I'm sure guests would be happy to pay for this.

Holiday on La Sella, Denia

We had a fantastic family holiday, the arrangements for which were made very easy by Sarah and Gary (including a phone call before we booked which was extremely helpful). The villa is beautiful and extremely well maintained, as is the development. We were within easy reach of the pools which stayed relatively quiet - it was not unusual to be sat there on our own. Denia is a very nice town (a good mix between a 'real' and a 'tourist' town' and is a great base for exploring the region. Overall, a great holiday..many thanks

Quiet and convenient

Property in a large development easily accessible from main road network but a few miles from the nearest town and the coast.

Villa clean and well maintained with good facilities. Nearby swimming pools are particularly good. Car parking area.

Quite a few steps - not difficult but not suitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Location peaceful and attractive but only convenient if you have a car although there is a shop and a restaurant within walking distance. All other facilities require a car.

Great Two Weeks

The villa was better than described and located within 5 minutes walk from local shop, pharmacy, bar/restaurant, tennis and horse riding. Two swimming pools even closer. Central Denia just 10/15 minutes drive away. Great views from the villa.

The villa was very well equipped with everything you would have in your own home. Spotlessly clean, with relaxing furnishings.

The owners, Sarah & Neal, provided a folder on how everything worked as well as lots of leaflets on local attractions, nearby shopping and eateries, etc. Very well organised. They even provided details of a doctor and physiotherapist when I strained my back. Local Pharmacist spoke good English and very helpful. Three days of pain eased by good advice and treatment.

La Sella is a good base to visit the region. We particularly enjoyed Les Fonts de L'Algar and La Cova de Rull. We found several great restaurants along the seafront in Denia. The local sea bream is delicious and the sangria superb.

We have already recommended the villa to friends and family and look forward to returning ourselves.

Coast/Beach:

Both sandy beaches and rocky coves can be found near the towns of Denia and Javea - a short drive or cycle ride from the villa.

Travel:

The villa is about 1 hour's drive and easily accessed from the airports of Alicante and Valencia.

Car hire is recommended for accessing nearby towns and other facilities. Full travel instructions to the villa are provided on confirmation of booking.

Distances:

Both Denia and Javea are about 15 minutes drive from the villa and offer some excellent restaurants - especially for tapas, good shopping, with markets and old towns to explore. There is also a castle and museum in Denia.

Further Details:

There is a mini-supermarket and a pharmacy about 5 minutes walk from the villa, together with a bistro/bar and other restaurants. There is an indoor shopping centre a short drive away with a cinema and a variety of restaurants. Well stocked supermarkets can also be found within a 10 minute drive together with alternative restaurants. The area boasts a wealth of attractions for all the family including Terra Mitica theme park, Aqualandia (water world), Mundomar (sea world) within a short drive. The villa has information on many other attractions with contact and access details.

£100 holding deposit is payable at the time of booking with the balance payable 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable (subject to damages/deficiences) security deposit of £150 is also required to be paid with the balance.

Changeover Day:
Normally Saturday to Saturday, but may be flexible. The villa is normally available from 5pm on arrival day and vacation is normally required by 10am on the departure day.

Notes on prices:
