'Casa Maurice' has every facility you will need to enjoy a fantastic time in one of the Algarve's best locations. There is a twin bedroom ensuite and games room at lower ground floor level. A double bedroom with bathroom at ground floor. A large lounge, kitchen, direct garden & pool access. On 1st floor are 3 bedrooms c/w balcony & 2 bathrooms. The villa's ideal location means that a car is not essential during your holiday. Meia Praia with its restaurants and cafes is only minutes away. Local taxis at low cost are always available, therefore if you would like to explore a little further afield, you can take advantage of the many equally excellent beaches & water activities available just 1 or 2km from the Villa, with Praia de Ana probably the most photographed beach in the Algarve, located just 2km away.

About Christopher Bradfield

The owner of the property is Christopher Bradfield, an Entrepreneur who has several successful businesses to his credit among them a 4 star hotel in Christchurch in Dorset, England, called the 'Captains Club Hotel'. Christopher was the founder member of the company 'Sounds Commercial' a market leader in producing live events and Corporate Conference's across Europe. His ideology is to provide the highest quality service, whilst providing value for money.

Christopher began his Algarve Villa Rental venture in 2004 with 'Casa Sarah', a 5 bedroom detached Villa in Albardeira Parque. By providing modern properties beautifully decorated and well managed by local Lagos man Dinis Rodrigues, he has steadily built a Portfolio comprising of 4 exceptional Villas and also an executive Apartment.

I have just returned from a weeks stay in Casa Maurice. Everything from my first email from the owner Chris to leaving the villa on the last day went very smoothly.

Chris has the whole process fine tuned perfectly. Booking and paying for the villa was simple and indeed Chris went above and beyond to help us source the perfect place. The arrival of the information pack was within 2 days of the payment of the deposit and the remaining details immediately after the final payment. On arrival in the Algarve the directions that Chris provided were clear and greatly assisted our arrival which was quite late at night. Everything was exactly as described but what cannot be described was the comfort and space in the villa. The villa is open bright and airy. It is spotlessly clean and is fully equipped. Dinis the property manager could not have been more helpful - he called the first morning to ensure that everything was ok and was available at the end of the phone at any time for us.

This was a very special holiday for us and indeed the villa and the people associated with this villa ensured that this holiday was a very memorable one. I will definitely be returning. Thanks again Chris and Dinis - much appreciated.

Notes on accommodation: The owners welcome comments from guests and aim to provide a quality accommodation experience. The accommodation within the large bedrooms can be altered to suit an individual requirements ie. the position of twin bedded rooms, or double bedded rooms etc. A new Games room has been installed in the completely refurbished lower ground floor, a key is supplied for the games room at a nominal fee of only £40 per duration. Complete with a twin bedroom adjacent with ensuite shower, this excellent centrally heated facility comprises of a full size pool table (slate bed), table football, table tennis and electronic darts, the games room will be popular with adults and children of all ages! Outside: The villa has both a front/side gardens, and additional garden areas around the rear of the property adjacent to the swimming pool. There are also flowerbeds positioned around the BBQ area. With elegant palm trees on the side garden and an automatic irrigation system to ensure the flowers and manicured grass are kept in ideal condition all year around. The separate terraces are enjoying the sunshine with the swimming pool measuring thirty nine feet by nineteen feet providing lots of fun. A pool man arrives twice weekly to ensure the pool is kept clean and is monitored for a correct chemical balance. The well lit and relaxing separate BBQ area is popular with guests and often used for outdoor breakfast as the kitchen is directly accessible to and from the BBQ area. The upstairs terrace is adjacent to the three double bedrooms situated along its length, giving guests the opportunity to have breakfast or pre dinner drink upstairs on the balcony, which overlooks the pool and its terraces. Utility Room: In the utility area there is a large ironing board, steam iron, and a clothes airer which can then simply be placed in any of the spacious outer areas to guarantee your washing is smelling fresh, as well as looking clean. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen, towels and bedding are provided as well as any spare items you may need during your visit. The Villa is fully prepared to a high standard prior to your arrival by the experienced english management team & their friendly and efficient staff. Other: Accommodation is centrally heated, spacious and modern. A superb Villa with excellent facilities for both indoor and outdoor living. There are several areas where you can sit quietly alone, whilst the other members of the party are occupied elsewhere.

Fabulous holiday, great villa, excellent location

Me and my family stayed at Casa Sara in August this year. We were a party of 9 with ages ranging from 14 years to 73 years. From start to finish our stay was superb! The villa was spacious, spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for, a real home from home. From the very start, Chris, the owner, was so helpful, providing us with all the information we needed and very kindly organised our transfers from the airport. We had a fabulous holiday at Casa Sara and will certainly be returning in the years to come.

A fabulous villa

We have been coming to Casa Maurice for the last 5 years and have had fantastic family holidays. Chris makes sure everything is perfect before, during and after your holiday. Denis is always on hand if anything should go wrong. Lagos is a 25 minute walk away and 20 minutes from the marina. I would recommend this villa to anyone wanting relaxing family holidays in a beautiful part of Portugal.

Situated just 1km from Meia Praia, one of the Algarves longest beaches and close to the lovely Marina and its restaurants, in this delightful town of Lagos. This modern detached villa is in a perfect location to be able to enjoy all of the amenities. A delightfully designed holiday Villa, this gem of a property has diverse facilities and although designed primarily a family or group in mind, it was chosen recently by the British Olympic Sailing team for their base in their preparation for the Brazil Olympic games. Close walking distance to the property are many fresh fish restaurants and they are plentiful and abound on every beach front. Only three minutes by car are the beaches of 'Praia De Ana' arguably one of the Algarves most famous beaches, 'Praia De Mos, and the villages of 'Luz' and 'Salema' exploring at its best! The stunning Marina De lagos is just a fifteen minute walk away, as is the famous beach of Meai Praia and the town centre.


Nearest Airport Faro only 80kms away direct access is available via the A22 from the Airport gates. The journey takes approx 60minutes by car. Lisbon is the nearest ferry port and is a distance of 360km.


Situated in the centre of the Western Algarve, Lagos is close to nearby Praia de Luz (2km), Praia de Rocha(18km),

Alvor (12Km), Sagres (26km) with Albufeira only (36km) away.

Dining in the evening. Lagos is full of excellent restaurants catering for all types of taste. Fresh fish abounds and the choice is quite fantastic, however one or two are exceptional. Sao Roque - The Fresh Fish Restaurant on the beach*. Situated right on the beach at the town harbour side of Meia Praia beach is this popular fish restaurant. The staff are very friendly and very professional and the fish is brought to the restaurant daily. You can choose your fish from the display as you enter the restaurant and the choice is varied from Golden Bream, Sea Bass, Large or small sole to Stone Bass and Red snapper plus John Dory. If you like fish this restaurant is unlikely to disappoint you and some people have reported that it is worthy of the flight alone! Sao Roque can be accessed from the rear of the railway station behind the Marina, simply drive to the end of the road and onto the beach. It is the last building on the left. There is ample parking available. Dom Sebastian*** is an experience not to be missed, here you can dine inside for a real Portugese five start experience book for the night of your choice. Chefs entrée is served before your first course arrives and consists of liver Pate, soft cheese, French toast, soft bread rolls, butter, local fish pate, carrots in garlic (the local speciality entrée) and completed by a bacon in brandy flambé still in flame.

This is before your starter arrives! The meal is always finished with a choice of lemon hotshot or firewater accompanied by almonds and figs offered in a Portuguese almond table sack. Bars in Lagos: The bars at the end of the Rua de 25 Abril in which the restaurant Dom Sebastian is situated are plentiful and this particular spot is where the action is considered to be, sixties and seventies music are popular, with 'Stones' and 'Zanzibar' good haunts.
