Offering breathtaking views across a wide valley to the forests of St Sever 10 miles away, it is perfect for walkers, golfers, cyclists and canoeists, and is close to the sandy beaches of the Bay of Mont St Michel. Ideal accommodation with fully private bedrooms for one or two families, 2 couples, or a romantic holiday for 2 people.

Activity and Interests
Nearest beaches face the bay of Mont St Michel, and are about a 45-minute drive away. The best one is probably at Granville, which has spectacular cliffs, rocks to climb on, rockpools, and a seawater swimming pool.
Granville itself is a very interesting old fortified town with upmarket shops and restaurants, plus Christian Dior's house, which has a beautiful clifftop garden overlooking the sea.
Lingreville, also popular with children because of huge sand dunes.
The house is about 8km from J39 of the new A84 autotroute, midway between Caen and Rennes. The journey from the Brittany Ferries terminal at Caen-Ouistreham takes 1hr, or it is 1hr 15mins via new dual carriageway from the Cherbourg ferry terminal, and a similar time from the ferry terminal at St Malo.
In addition, it can be accessed via cut-price Ryanair flights from Stansted to Dinard or the equally cheap Flybe service from Southampton to Rennes. Car hire is available at both airports.
Nearest towns, Vire or Villedieu-les-Poeles, 20-30 mins, beaches 40 mins to 1hr. Mont St Michel is 1hr. Brilliant 'sons et lumieres' in summer. Canoeing, or swimming in the Vire river gorge, is about 4km away, riding, tennis and mountain bike hire also nearby. There is lots of additional information on restaurants, shops and attractions in the house.
The pretty village of Landelles has excellent bakers, butchers and grocers, plus small selection of market stalls once a week. St Sever, 8km away, is a larger village with seven day supermarket, banks, cash machines and a lively open air market.
- Booking Notes:
50% of rental on booking, plus balance no later than eight weeks before departure. If booking is made less than eight weeks before departure date, full rental is payable straightaway. £200 refundable damage deposit requested.
Changeover day is always Saturday and guests are requested to leave by 10am. New arrivals no earlier than 4pm, except by special arrangement.

- Notes on accommodation: The house is well suited to visitors of any age, with a choice of lovely walks literally on the doorstep. Outside: Large, one-acre private garden offers ample space for noisy children. There is also a large trampoline for children to play on. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and bedlinen are included, but visitors are requested to bring their own towels for the beach. The house is thoroughly cleaned between groups of visitors.
