Apartment in Puerto Cabopino, Costa del Sol - Peaceful Location, 10 minutes Walk to Beach

Cabopino is in a prime location on the Costa del Sol and benefits from year round sunshine. With Malaga airport only 30 minutes away the apartment is quick and easy to reach. Las Mimosas was completed in June 2003, this spacious apartment is situated in peaceful elevated gardens. Within a few minutes walk is Puerto Cabopino with its picturesque marina and two of the finest unspoilt beaches on the Costa del Sol, and competition 18 hole golf course. The apartment is situated on the ground floor and is finished and furnished to the highest standard. The 30m2 lounge with comfortable sofas and satellite TV leads on to a large terrace with views of the gardens.

About The Owner

I'm Steve, I live in England with my wife Chris, my son Thom and our West Highland White Terrier Lucy. Chris spends most of her time looking after the home and family including our very special grandson Oliver.

Keeping pigs, chickens, ducks, tending to our vegetable and flower gardens and running a construction business also keeps us pretty busy.

We purchased our apartment in July 2006 and absolutely love it, it is our home from home, so peaceful and relaxing to be in and around. We love the people and the country, as we become less tied to England we hope to spend more and more time there.

Why The Owner chose West Costa del Sol

Cabopino and the surrounding area's have everything we could ask for whilst on holiday, fantastic restaurants and beaches all with really friendly staff and many within ten minutes walk so no need to worry about driving. If we want a quiet or a lively beach day no problem its all available, although we might stay at the apartment and relax around the pool. I love to walk around the port call in somewhere get a nice coffee or a beer enjoy the sun and watch the world go by. If we want a bit of liveliness though that's not hard to find! we might drive to "Puerto Banus" or "Old Marbella" order lunch and watch Flamenco in "Naranja Plaza". Malaga old town is one of my favourite places to visit, it is so vibrant and full of history, the Cathedral is beautiful! I could go on and on! Viva Espanol!!

What makes this apartment unique

Our apartment truly is our home from home, the fully equipped kitchen is a must as we both enjoy cooking. The living / dinning area is very spacious with comfortable furniture, large TV with broadband channels, full private secure internet access and DVD player. The bedrooms are air conditioned and very comfortable with plenty of storage, the bathrooms both have baths and nice showers. On the patio we have a gas BBQ and all the usual comforts, this all make life very pleasant whilst we are their. We are totally geared up for children of all ages as we often take our grandson Oliver with us. The travel cot, high chair, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and hoover make life a lot easier. In a nut shell we just love it! and look forward to every visit.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment and the location is ideal for young and old alike with life guarded beaches. Swimming pools and plenty of amenities for the young. Outside: The apartment is set in its own gated private grounds with access to a large shared pool and children's pool. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron and board. All linen, bath towels are included. Not included are beach towels. We operate a strict no smoking policy within the apartment. Other: The apartment has a private patio area with a table and 4 chairs, gas BBQ and 2 sun loungers.

Fabulous Family Holiday

We had a fabulous holiday in Steve's apartment, which is extremely clean and comfortable. The sofas are very large and comfy and there's a large TV. The patio is lovely and overlooks the large garden and pool. We enjoyed many meals sat on the terrace.

The walk to the harbour and beach is 10 minutes and there are many lovely restaurants within walking distance. The beach is large and has a fun atmosphere. There are a couple of beach bars there.

I'm sure we will be back for a third holiday. Thanks again Steve.

Fabulous apartment in a great location

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Steve's luxurious apartment - a ten minute walk from the lovely Capobino Harbour. This is a spacious apartment with all the home from home luxuries! The communal gardens and large pool are very peaceful and private, but you have the convenience of a small shop, pizza restaurant and bar across the road and we spent a lot of time on the large terrace enjoying a bbq and playing cards in the evening. This was a great base to explore the Costa Del Sol and we visited Malaga, Marbella Old Town and Mijas Pueblo and the Waterpark on this trip. Capobino has a good beach, lovely restaurants both at the harbour and in the square with a relaxed atmosphere. Overall a great holiday in a lovely apartment in a good location and we look forward to returning in the not too distant future!

Two unspoilt beaches are a short walk from the apartment which are at the port of Cabopino. The port is well serviced with a selection of fine restaurants.


Malaga international airport is only 20 miles away. Journey time to the apartment is approximately 25/30 minutes. Car hire, although not essential, is recommended.


The cosmopolitan town of Marbella with its unique atmosphere, world-class shopping and sophisticated night life is only a few minutes drive along the coast. A further 10 minutes brings you to the beautiful Puerto Banus offering shops, restaurants and night-life. Continue along the coast to reach Ronda, Granada, Gibraltar and skiing in the Sierras.

Further Details:

Calahonda one mile to the east has an excellent selection of shops and supermarkets for daily needs. In addition located in the local garage is a mini market for basic items and is only a short walk from the apartment.

Booking Notes:
Bookings are from 4pm Saturday to 10am Saturday and include, bed linen, towels, (not beach) and cleaning after departure, alternative dates can sometimes be arranged during off peak periods. A non refundable deposit of £125 per each week booked is required to secure your booking and the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a full information pack giving directions, key collection details etc.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for 7 nights in UK Pounds, based on 4 persons sharing, add £12.50 pp per night for each extra person. Preferred arrival times 4pm Saturday & departure 10am Saturday. A £125 non refundable deposit is required for each week booked to secure the booking. A £175 refundable deposit returned after your holiday is required to safe guard against damages. Arrival times between 10am & 7.30pm Mon-Sat all other times add £60.00 Meet & Greet fee.
