Notes on accommodation: The property is ideal for children. The shared pool area has a pool for children and large grounds for playing. The private garden is also ideal for small children. Outside: The comfortably furnished 1 bedroom ground floor apartment has its own flower-filled garden suitable for small children to play, large terrace, very high-quality garden furniture and BBQ. It is only 200m from the 5-star Vale do Lobo estate and only a short distance from the beach and local golf courses. The apartment is located near a supermarket and English speaking doctors' surgery. The large pool and children's pool is in huge grounds - plenty of room for the kids to play safely, while you practice tennis, enjoy a game of crazy golf, or just swim and bask in the beautiful sunshine. Utility Room: Deep cupboards in the hallway. Equipped with ironing board, iron, clothes dryer and clothes pegs. Plenty of room to store golfing equipment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels (including beach towels) are provided. Maid service is provided twice a week, towels and bed linen are changed weekly. Activities near Vale do Lobo: Sports with tennis in town, water sports, Water Park, horse riding, golf and fishing. Great for walking holidays, rural countryside retreats, beach or lakeside relaxation, a winter sun break, a good nightlife.


15 mins walk or two minutes drive to Vale do Lobo beach or 10 mins drive to Vale do Garrao, Dunas Douradas, or Quinta do Lago sandy beaches. Quinta do Lago is within a natural park area of wetlands and is an excellent place for birdwatching or looking for crabs (knee-deep in mud - great for the kids) and an alternative to the sandy beach just beyond the natural reserve.


Faro airport is just 20 mins drive away. Car hire is highly recommended. Further details of how to reach the appartment from the airport can be obtained from the owner, as can other areas of interest to be visited round and about.


Almancil, Loulé, Quinta do Lago, Quarteira and Vilamoura are between 10 and 20 mins drive. Albufeira and its water parks are approx 35 - 40 mins drive.

A small, but well-stocked supermarket is within walking distance from the apartment. Banks, post office and newsagent can be found in Almancil, 5 min drive away. Also the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants serving traditional Portuguese cuisine and a host of international restaurants. Almancil has one of the most popular supermarkets in the Algarve which has an excellent selection of fresh fish and meat; and also stocks a large selection of English products.

    £200 deposit cheque at time of booking - balance to be paid no less than eight weeks prior to arrival, together with a refundable security deposit cheque of £200 which will be returned to you seven days after your holiday. Cancellation refunds: Up to 8 weeks no cancellation charges. 4-8 weeks 50% of rate will be refunded. 2-4 weeks 25% of rate will be refunded. Less than 2 weeks no refund.

    Changeover Day:
    Changeover day flexible. Arrive time 2 pm. Checkout tine 10am. These times can be flexible, depending on availability.
