Villa in La Manga Club, Costa Calida - Peaceful Location yet Within Walking Distance of Sports Activities and Shops

This detached villa is beautifully decorated, refurbished and set in communal gardens almost adjacent to a shared pool. It is nearby to shops, tennis, football and golf. Excellent southerly views over La Manga Club giving sunshine all day long even in winter. This villa benefits from air conditioning for cooling/heating depending on the season and has large sun terraces well equipped with built-in BBQ, dining table and sun loungers. There is a large lounge with open fireplace and TV. The resort has supermarkets, a dentist, a doctor and a chemist all on site. At the 5 star Hyatt Hotel there is a nightclub and a casino. Although the resort has its own small beach the extensive beaches and shallow waters of the Mar Menor are just a few minutes away by car. The beaches at nearby Calablanque are always very tranquil.

My wife and I are in our late 50 s and have 2 grown up boys.Our eldest has been working at La Manga Club for about 3 years but then went off to China to teach. Our youngest is at building homes for Bovis. We have lived in rural Cheshire for the last 28 years overlooking the beautiful Cheshire plain and Delamere forest.

Great property, great location

The property was excellent. Everything you could want in a holiday home and more. We enjoyed Los Altos 34 on all levels.

What a gem of a property. All you could possibly wish for. Spacious comfortable, and very well equipped. Although not occupied immediately before our arrival, it was spotlessly clean and immaculately presented. The agent was all you could hope for, helpful and informative, showing us around the property and making sure we were settled. The Villa, set within the splendid La Manga Golf resort is a few hundred metres form the letting office and quite near a well established plaza with cafes, restaurant and small but well stocked supermarket. In summary, thank you for a splendid family holiday!

My wife and I bought Los Altos 34 in 2006 after a long search which included all of the Spanish costas. Why did we settle on la Manga club? Well, to us it seemed a well run,well kept development with all the amenities and sports activities you could ever want. English is spoken everywhere yet just out of the club environment less English is spoken so it gives me great chance to practice my Spanish! The airport is only 25 minutes away and the roads are empty, unlike on the Costa del sol but the weather is just as good. Why did we chose Los Altos 34... we wanted a south facing villa to maximise the sun the house gets and we wanted a lovely view which we have looking toward pine forests and the Mar Manor in the other direction. We wanted to be close to all the amenities and we are!

The La Manga strip with it's extensive beaches has many restaurants and a busy nightlife yet is just a few minutes away.

Although the resort has its own small beach the extensive beaches and shallow waters of the Mar Menor are just a few minutes away by car. The beaches at nearby Calablanque are always very tranquil.


The nearest airport is Murcia, San Javier airport is only 20 minutes away. Ryanair, BMI Baby, EasyJet and BA all fly there from various UK airports. Car hire may be booked in advance or on arrival. Taxis are also available.


There is a lot to do at La Manga Club but locally there are many places of interest. Cartagena with its ancient Roman ruins is a delightful sea port with many restaurants, bars and excellent shopping is only 10 mins away. The university city of Murcia with its beautiful city centre and cathedral is only a 20 minute drive.

Further Details:

The resort has supermarkets, a dentist, a doctor and a chemist all on site. At the 5 star Hyatt Hotel there is a nightclub and a casino, the Piano bar is renowned for it's lively atmosphere. There are some of the finest tennis facilities in Europe at the Club featuring 28 tennis courts, along with horse riding, diving and football lessons for children. Again, guests get discounted rates and can book in advance. There is also a children's club run by qualified staff. There are 15 on site restaurants and a new 5 star spa. There is a small private beach with its own restaurant.

Changeover Day:
Preferred changeover day is Saturday, especially in high season, but this could be negotiable depending on length of booking and time of the year.

You will be very close to our swimming pool, very close to shops/bars and restaurants and tennis facilities. Most of all you will enjoy the sunshine all day on our south facing terrace and solarium. After all, thats what you are in Spain for!

  • Notes on accommodation: Fully air-conditioned villa. Car parking space is directly to the front of the villa. Please leave golf clubs in the back of your car they will be quite safe. No smoking inside the villa please! Outside: There is a large terrace off the sitting room equipped with, outside dining table and built-in BBQ. There is also a large roof sun terrace with four sun loungers. The large swimming pool, shared with about 20 other villas, is just a matter of a few yards away from the villa door. It is surrounded by a pleasant, well equipped sun bathing area and is usually very peaceful. Utility Room: WC and vanity basin off lounge area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath, face towels and bed linen provided. Mid stay linen change and cleaning can be arranged at extra cost. Guests will need to bring their own pool towels. Other: All rooms have been recently repainted and refurbished.
