Town Apartment in Fuengirola Centre, Costa del Sol - Peaceful Old Town Location, 1 Minute Walk to the Sandy Beach

This town apartment is tastefully furnished to a good standard, with modern quality furniture and comfortable beds and sofas! It is situated in the centre, off Calle Palangreros, and very close to Fuengirola's main Church Square (beautiful Plaza de la Constitucion) In the tree-lined street of Calle Nueva, 1 minute to the sandy beach and the promenade with its coffee shops, bars and restaurants. It has free unlimited internet connection and a telephone for incoming calls. Ceiling fans in every room for the summer and heaters for the winter. We offer a few welcome essentials such as water, tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter and jam for your arrival. The main train and bus stations are 10 minutes walk, ideal for travelling to local villages such as traditionally trendy Mijas, Marbella, Puerto Banus and Malaga’s now world famous Picasso Museum. Ideal for a holiday to relax by the beach, explore the town, do some shopping and visit the surrounding white villages. Also popular with long winter lets and city breaks. Great for people who do not necessarily want to rent a car and would rather have the option to walk everywhere. Easy access to a number of golf courses. Details on request.

Hi Eneida,

We're back from our fantastic stay at your apartment in Fuengirola. We had the best time. The apartment was absolutely perfect for our needs and the travel cot was really appreciated and made our lives much easier. Olga was very friendly with excellent English (thankfully!) and made our first introduction to Fuengirola easy and pleasant. The apartment could do with a few glass tumblers, other than that we found we had everything we needed. I think you could make more of the location in your blurb. We were totally blown away by the orange trees right outside the balcony and the fact that it is situated right in the middle of the beautiful old town. I will definitely be recommending you to other friends with children. The whole experience has been very positive for us.

Great Location. Handy for transport and bars.

The flat was neat, tidy and functional. Beds were above average for a holiday flat. We had free wifi which was great. Bars, restaurants, supermarkets, beach, stations etc are within easy walking distance.

We had a great break in this apartment and would certainly return.

A very nice apartment in a perfect position

My wife and i had a very pleasant week at Eneida's apartment which is perfectly positioned for the beach and Fuengirola old town. It had every facility you would require including satellite TV and Wi Fi.

We couldn't get on with the pillows but this was a minor issue in what is a very well equped apartment and we would not hesitate to return.

Perfectly located for both town and beach

The listing description was perfectly accurate. It is a pleasant apartment in the thick of the town, and very clean.

It was wonderful to just walk out of the building (which was quiet, we rarely heard anyone else), turn right to the end of the quiet road, then turn left for the town, bars, restaurants etc, yet turn right for the beach and its bars.

The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom/shower all one would want. The kitchen was small, but Eneida has made best use of the space - there's even a washing machine - and although we love cooking, we weren't planning to prepare anything beyond breakfast.

Everything worked, from the lamps to the Wi-fi, and Eneida's sister, who showed us around, was diligent in making sure we knew all we needed to.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the apartment to anyone. My own tip is to avoid the British bars on the seafront and head into the old town where the Spanish restaurants were packed. We didn't even bother with the renowned Fish Alley as there were so many other places to choose from.

perfect location

We have just spent a month in this apartment, its location is perfect for the beach, eating,bars, the bus and train station but you wouldn't know that you were so central as the street that the apartment is on is a very quiet street lined with orange trees and is rarely used by traffic. Eneida and Olga were very helpful before and while we were there. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and the television had plenty of english channels and unlimited internet access. We will stay there again.

Fuengirola Fantastic

Can't recommend this apartment highly enough - its very well equipped and all the furnishings and fittings are of a very high standard. Ideally situated for the beach, loads of local bars and restaurants very close at hand and only a short walk to the train and bus stations. The owner and her sister are very helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay there again and will recommend to any friends considering Fuengirola for their holidays.

My partner and I stayed at the apartment in December 2013. The apartment had everything we could possibly need to a very high standard. It was immaculately clean (I am so particular about cleanliness) and in an ideal location for bars and restaurants with just a short walk to the beach. The train station and bus station are within walking distance making it really easy to visit other areas in this beautiful region of Spain. We would certainly consider staying here again.

From the Owner

I am the owner of this property which I bought with my husband in 2004. We live in England as my husband's job is based there but we travel back and forth all the time and also use our apartment when we go over to see the Spanish side of the family. We love the flat. It is really bright and just so handy to go for our walks in the sun. Also when my dad stays with us he can easily walk to the beach front with his crutches as he can't walk long distances. It's brilliant. There is a square 2 mins to the right of the apartment where we tend to go for breakfast as you get the sun and it's a very pleasant quiet atmosphere with no traffic at all around you. It's lovely. Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 35 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Playa Alexandra at 100 Metres Car: not necessary


The beach by apartment (3 mins walk away) is sandy and is a few kilometres long. There are sun lounges and umbrellas to rent or just your towel can do the trick! Great for sunbathing, swimming and lovely coastal walks.


Malaga airport is just 20 - 30 mins drive.


The apartment is about 20 mins drive from trendy sleek Marbella and a further 10 - 20 mins to Puerto Banus (upmarket area with its harbour yachts and boats. Mijas is just about 15 mins drive. You can also make trips to Ronda, an old beautiful rural town, very typical.

The Fuengirola Zoo is no more than 10 mins from the apartment and it's a great place to take the kiddies for a day trip.

There is a small park with a playground for toddlers and older ones by the townhall, just about 4 mins walk

Further Details:

There are a number of shops near to the apartment.

Cayetano supermarket is a few mins walk in the direction of the Castle or bigger Mercadona 10 mins walk behind train station.

The big shopping mall 'Myramar' is about 20 mins walk or a few mins by bus- a big shopping centre with a supermarket, clothes shops, health shops, hair salon, entertainment for children, etc.

As it is in the town, there are numerous different shops moments away.

- Train ride around Fuengirola

-Visit Bio park

-Trip to Mijas

-Benalmadena's sea life aquarium (for children specially)

-Estepona's selwo (specially with children)

- Trip to Malaga's city centre

-Trip to Marbella

-Walk along the beach front and enjoy the sun especially in winter/spring/autumn

-Take your children to the numerous playgrounds on the beach itself, soft landing for any fall as on the sand! Or take them to the different amusement attractions for children near to the port.

To book just e-mail or call me on the number supplied. A deposit is required to block dates, minimum 100 euros or 25% of rental. A security deposit to cover for damage incidentals to the property is collected too which is returned after check out. This is about £100 per booking depending on the size of the party and the length of stay.

Changeover Day:

Clients normally pay in euros by bank transfer but pounds in my UK account can be accepted occasionally.
A deposit of 25% upfront and the balance 8 weeks prior to departure.
