Benagil is famous for its sea caves beneath cliffs with amazing ocean views. The villa is a stone’s throw away from 2 golden sandy beaches. Beautiful cliff top walks. Golf enthusiasts can enjoy many courses: Quinta do Gramacho and Vale da Pinta, plus Silves and Alvor are all close. For fun loving families both the Slide & Splash and Aqualand water parks are also within a ten minute drive.The village of Benagil has 4 restaurants which serve locally caught seafood, all within walking distance of the villa. Carvoeiro is a 5 minute drive away with an abundance of restaurants, gift shops and bars to suit all tastes.Portimao's Praia da Rocha beaches are stunning;Vilamoura's Marina is great for nightlife;boating trips to view dolphins can be taken from Lagos, Alvor or Vilamoura. Eat al fresco on our garden terrace.The townhouse enjoys the sun from dawn to sunset.

Perfect setting for a beach holiday

Being a keen golfer, I found my perfect Algarve townhouse villa in Benagil - the most beautiful cliff-top location.There are a number of testing championship golf courses within 10-15 minutes drive of my property. I enjoy a very active life both in the UK and Portugal. ETT Brand Delivery opened in 1986.It services and support SME's and large plc groups. I fell in love with Portugal and it's Southern Atlantic coastline because of the wonderful all year round climate, culture, and the safe, secure infrastructure. I love how friendly the Portuguese are.

Perfect setting for a beach holiday
The villa was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well maintained. The shared pool was only 30 steps away and it was always easy to get a sun lounger. It was a two minute walk to the steps/slope leading down to the beautiful beach. The patio area, well-kept garden and the roof terrace provide a choice of areas to relax outdoors in a very quiet location. The air conditioning is welcome on hot days. The showers are good, always plenty of hot water and the kitchen is well-equipped. David was very helpful and accommodating when booking. Highly recommend this property for a holiday in Benagil. Lovely restaurants nearby, particularly the beach bar and Casa Lamy. Cave boat trip was fabulous. A car would be preferable to get out and about and for ease of access to the supermarkets.
Lovely property - fantastic stay
We have just returned from a month on the Iberian peninsula including a one week stay at this property. It is a lovely attached villa located at the top of beautiful cliffs in the village of Benagil. We found the villa to be exactly as described by the owner. We loved the shared pool, the nearby beaches and the tasty food at the Casa Lamy restaurant (don't be fooled by the plastic chairs and tables on the verandah - the food is fantastic and the service very good and friendly).
The owner has a local manager who was always available and very helpful.

Home from home property
We felt most at home with bright and homely furnishings and the beds were so comfortable. A bonus to have air con in the bedroom as the weather was so hot during our stay. Fabulous views all around with a roof top terrace, close to the beach and restaurants. The house had everything we could wish for.
Nearest supermarket approx 4 Km away but taxi is available if you don't have a car.
Beautiful walks along the coast path in both directions.
Note: Check the changeover time and day so that it can coincide with your arrival where possible.

Really nice property everything is as described and the villa lacks nothing.the owner david was very helpful with lots of useful info on the local area.nice development and ideal for couples or families.it would be possible to stay without a car but a car would make your holiday more enjoyable.i would recomend this property to everyone and will most definately go again
A great place in the sun
The villa is a great place for families. We were a party of five, four adults and a toddler. The villa is safe and gated. During our stay we found the villa to be well equipped. In the bathroom there was even a pair of hair straighteners! All the rooms are spacious. During our stay we visited all the local restaurants. Food great especially the fish dishes. We went to the two beaches all in walking distance. We took long walks along the coast line. The views are stunning.The weather during our stay was great the sun shone all the time. If you like quiet not too busy holidays this is the place for you. We did not hire a car. At first i was a bit worried but we soon found a supermarket in Roche Brava about a 40 minute walk.
A wonderful break
We have just returned from a month in this superb villa located in the beautiful Benagil fishing village but set high up on the cliff. The villa is as exactly as described by the extremely attentive owner, who lives in UK, but has a resident manager for the complex who is also very helpful.
The only hiccup we had was with the wifi dongle provided using Vodafone mobile coverage which was totally insufficient & unreliable.
As we were both working everyday the owner agreed immediately to have a proper high speed Internet LAN line fitted so our last ten days were bliss on that front as well. A wonderful addition to the property if one wants a working break as well at this time of year .
We would highly recommend this extremely comfortable Villa & complex to anyone wanting to spend some time in probably one of the finest locations along the Algarve coast for beaches,stunning walks,golf, restaurants,handy shopping to name but a few. .

I was looking for somewhere with safe bathing beaches, uncorrupted by development and with easy access to nearby golf courses. Terracos de Benagil is a small exclusive development with its own private swimming pool in a stunning location on the top of the famous Benagil cliffs surrounded by a conservation area perfect for walks and exploring. The beaches are a favourite of local people and families, as Benagil is a very unspoilt traditional fishing village with a small number of select, affordable restaurants serving superbly cooked freshly caught fish, Portuguese dishes and great wines. There is a warm, friendly welcome in the village to all visitors. Most Portugues speak English”
Activity and Interests
5 minutes walk to two fantastic,safe for bathing, family beaches at Praia de Carvalho and Praia de Benagil. Within 5 minutes by car is Praia de Marina - the most stunning beach area on the Algarve. Beautiful cliff top walks through conservation areas to Carvalho beach and on to the Lighthouse at Rocha Brava. Local shop supplying English and European newspapers and groceries at Rocha Brava.
Faro Airport is a 40ing minute drive down the A22 motorway which has paying toll charges in use. You exit at Junction 6 (Lagoa) on the A22 when driving from Faro Airport to Benagil.
Alternatively, it is easy to drive down the N125 main coast road from Faro to Lagoa and turn left towards Carvoeiro and Benagil in Lagoa at the second set of traffic lights on a roundabout, where brown tourist signs identify your exit route.Take slip road off the N125 into the roundabout.Do not turn immediate left.
You are a 5 minute walk to 2 lovely beaches and a 5 minute car drive to the pictuesque town of Carvoeiro and Lagoa. The local supermarket Intermarche is only a 5 minute drive from Benagil towards Lagoa.Acquaca, another superb supermarket for all your grocery and food supplies, is located on the edge of Lagoa just off the main N125 highway to Portimao and the A22 motorway.
The Times Travel Supplement, Saturday 5/3/2011 stated "Portugal is the best value destination for holidaymakers according to the Post Office Worldwide Holiday Costs Barometer, which shows the cost of a basket of goods including staples such as coffee, beer, water and a 3-course meal for two. Atlantic winds keep the Azores and Madeira cool, so head to the Algarve or other southerly mainland resorts"
Recently, a cliff walk has been established by the local council across "The 7 cliffs" of which Benagil is the centre. This is clearly signposted for walkers to enjoy the rugged coastline safely by foot, and has points of interest with information posted along the route. To the west of Carvoeiro is the old unspoilt fishing village of Ferragudo. Lagoa, the nearest town, offers local shops, fruit and fish market, and restaurants. Inland from Lagoa you will find the picture postcard village of Porches and historical Silves.
Life in Porches revolves around the local pottery industry where crafts have been revived, preserving ancient Iberian and Moorish patterns. Another place that is a must to be visited is the inland historic and interesting town of Silves with the remains of its castle a reminder of Portugal’s historical past.
Portimao, a major city on the Algarve has its bustling streets, modern boutiques, markets, waterside restaurants and stunning wide beaches less than 20 minutes’ away by car. Remember, the majestic coastal cliffs and beach at Praia de Marinha is only 5 minutes’ drive away and probably one of the Algarve’s most famous coastal views.
Fishing, golf, horse-riding, tennis, scuba diving, surfing and walking are all enjoyed by visiting holidaymakers. The Algarve offers a wide range of entertainment and activities, with something to suit everyone.

Properties in this select development are owned privately by fellow English or Portuguese professionals like myself who enjoy the tranquility, serenity and beauty of our surroundings. The house is decorated and furnished to a very high standard in a distinctly Mediterranean style by a talented interior designer, and is well maintained throughout the year. All equipment (including barbecue) is chosen to make your stay pleasurable. There is a good selection of games, books, Freeview TV, DVDs and CDs for your entertainment in the comfortable lounge or outside on the garden patio or the roof terrace.”

Many more famous restaurants nearby in Carvoeiro and Seismarias. A trip to the famous Praia da Rocha beaches in Portimao is very worthwhile as is the new, bargain shopping mall in Portimao.
