This beautifully furnished property is laid out over 3 floors consisting of 3double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room with dining area and fully fitted and equipped kitchen. The outside area has 3 spacious terraces and a large patio area with a plunge pool. All the patio areas have seating and tables. You will get the sun at all times of the day on the various patios. As the lay out of the house is over 3 floors, it may not be suitable for small children.

About Jane Elphick

We live in Bognor Regis on the south coast and both work. Our 2 sons are now grown up and no longer come on holiday with us but love going over the Fuerteventura with their friends as there is so much to do activity wise. For my husband and I we just like to relax, well I do my husband is always doing something to the house, painting, tilings, making things and generally improving the property.

Why Jane Elphick chose La Oliva

We bought the house offplan and it was supposed to take 6 months but actually took 3 years to build. But it was worth the wait, it is a lovely house and and such a great location. We bought it to eventually retire to, not just as a holiday home to rent out, so we look after it with love and are constantly improving it as it is somewhere we want to live eventually.

Our house is in a block of just 4 houses, 2 owned and lived in by spanish, one the owner of a restaurant and our neighbours are an english couple who live there permanently and she owns a local boutique.

What makes this house unique

The weather is great all year round and we mostly go over in the winter. I love sitting on the patio reading and watching Robin pottering around, he is a builer by trade and still loves working even when we are on holiday. The beaches here are great and watersports for all the family.There are some fabulous restaurants and the people here are so friendly. YOu cannot help but want to come back time and time again.

Activity and Interests

Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

Waikiki beach is a 5 minute walk away and is a lovely sandy beach with 2 good restaurants actually on the beach. The harbour area is only a 10 minute walk and the famous sand dunes are about 25 minutes walking along the scenic coastal path, beside the sea, with magnificent views to Lanzarote and Los Lobos.

Travel:

Fuerteventura has only 1 airport which is a 20 minute drive away from Corralejo. From Corralejo harbour you have ferries to Lanzarote and Los Lobos island.

Distances:

The House is in a quiet street just of the main thoroughfare of Corralejo town centre. Corralejo is in a good position to visit the islands many attractions and places of interest if you decide to hire a car.

Further Details:

Within Corralejo there are over 100 bars and restaurants all within walking distance. There are great shops and supermarkets nearby. The beautiful sand dunes play host to surfers, windsurfers and kite surfing and there is also a nudist beach for that allover tan. There is also a newly built water park 5 minutes walk from the villa.

Outside: There are 3 spacious terraces, 2 of which have dining tables and chairs and the third roof terrace has sun beds. There is a large patio/garden area with sunbeds, a plunge pool of 8ft x 5ft and 5ft deep and an outside shower. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towel and linen are included and the property is cleaned once a week. However this can be more often if requested.
