This superb ground floor apartment has a beautiful sunny lounge/dining room, 2 bedrooms, a main bathroom with shower and an en suite to main bedroom. It has a fully equipped kitchen and is air conditioned throughout. Three sets of Patio doors from the lounge lead out to a large 40 foot long sun terrace which is totally child friendly, with a high fenced area and a lockable gate. Beautiful patio furniture makes it a perfect area to dine out in, or just to chill out and enjoy the glorious Cypriot sunshine. This immaculate and well maintained apartment is part of a block of 12 and shares a well-maintained communal area and pool. It is located in the Universal Gardens area, far enough away from the noise and bustle of the bars but still within easy walking distance of the restaurants, shops and the beautiful Harbour Area and World Heritage Site, an ideal base from which to explore Paphos. Local buses can take you to Coral Bay, Limassol, Paphos Water Park, go-carting, the old town of Paphos and many more destinations. Cost for bus journeys are around 2-3 euros. You can also take the bus from the airport which goes to the Harbour Area, again the bus costs 2 euros and you can then take a short taxi ride to the apartment.

2013 - The Fox family said -Apartment was fantastic. Beautifully decorated throughout and everything anyone could possibly want. All equipment, chairs, etc. were of the highest quality and the outside space was superb. A bonus is that beach towels are provided, not many properties include this, so well done Eileen. Although just the two of us, it would be ideal for a family and safe for younger children as gate can be locked. 15 minutes casual stroll and you are in the harbour area with it's restaurants and shops but well away from any noise, it's so peaceful for the older guests like ourselves. Have booked again for 2014 and are looking forward to next year.

Special interest holidays:

Paphos is a holiday resort which will appeal to all tastes from the thrill seeking action packed water sports, and boat hire, to the wonderful nearby archaeological sites of superb historical interest. There is go-karting, golf and a fantastic water park. The beautiful unspoilt Akamas Peninsula is only 30 mins away and offers turtle watch stations, nature trails and stunning vistas of the coastline and secluded beaches.

Coast/Beach:

It is a 15 minute walk to the local beach and seafront and around 20 minutes walk to the picturesque harbour area which has superb views out to sea and a wide range of bars and restaurants. There are also many other beaches along the coastline.

Travel:

Paphos International Airport is a quick 15 mins drive from the apartment. We can arrange for you to be picked up and dropped off at Paphos Airport. Larnaca International Airport is around a 1½ hour’s drive. The apartment is well placed for all amenities and you can walk or take local buses to some of the attractions. However, if you want to further explore the island then car hire is another option.

Distances:

42 miles to Limassol. 16 miles to Aphrodites Birthplace.

56 miles to the Troodos Mountains. 16 miles to the start of the Akamas Peninsular. The old Paphos town with it's daily market is about 20 mins walk. The New town and harbour, bars/restaurants and supermarkets are, on average, about 15 minutes walk away.

Kato Paphos has a superb and cosmopolitan range of Hotels, restaurants and bars with something to suit all tastes. There are some fantastic Cypriot Tavernas (try a Meze to introduce you to Cypriot food) also very good fish, Italian, Japanese & Chinese Restaurants, all within a 15 min walking distance of the apartment. There is a wide range of local shops and boutiques. A brand new very stylish shopping mall with a cinema, restaurants, popular coffee shops, up market designer shops opened in 2014 and is only a 15 minute walk away. Next & Debenhams, Pharmacies, banks, and supermarkets are also fairly nearby. Two well stocked mini-markets are only a very short 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is suitable for couples, families, elderly guests and is very safe for young children. A welcome pack is included for guests at no additional cost. Taxi transfer and all baby equipment, can be arranged through our local property management company, at an additional cost. Air conditioning (hot and cold) units in both bedrooms and lounge/dining area. Outside: The large bright and sunny, south facing sun terrace, around 40 feet long, leads from the spacious lounge and is furnished with a modern large wooden oval extendable table, large parasol, 4 chairs and 4 quality sun loungers and private BBQ, fantastic for cooking/eating outdoors! In addition, stylish dark rattan furniture, comprising of a two seater sofa, two armchairs and a large matching coffee table, with an additional parasol, make the most of the outside space. There is a substantial sized communal pool and outside shower to the rear of the property along with a custom built stone BBQ. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen, bath/hand and 4 beach towels provided. Apartment is cleaned before arrival. If you plan to stay for more than one week and would like the apartment cleaned, this can be arranged at an additional cost which would be paid for during your stay. Other: Underground parking available, perfect for keeping your car out of the sun.

FANTASTIC

What can we say?

We stayed here for a fortnight, beginning 3rd May and we didn't want to leave. The apartment was clean and fresh when we arrived late at night. We didn't get to really see the area until next morning and it was such a pleasant surprise. the welcome pack had all we needed for breakfast and this we enjoyed sitting on the terrace, soaking up the sun. I don't know if we were just lucky but the sun shone continually for the whole two weeks and the terrace got the sun for a large part of the day. We could have lounged about the terrace, soaking up the sun, for two weeks if we had wanted to. The apartment had everything you would need and the communal pool is only yards away from the front door. This was great for dipping in and out of, then heading back to lounge on the terrace again. We would recommend paying the little extra for the TV/Internet service. far cheaper than using phones to call home and you can keep up with the news etc too.

There is lots to see and do in the area. The beach, harbour and fantastic ancient sites are all close to the apartment. There are some fantastic bus tours, available to book in many local shops, which offer sightseeing trips all over Cyprus. We did a couple of these and would have done a few more if time would have allowed us. We ate in different restaurants most nights and could not fault any of them. We recommended a few, leaving notes on menus, in the apartment.Everyone there seems to speak English, so there is no language barrier when ordering, shopping etc.

Eileen had great communication with us, before, during and after our stay and was eager for us to enjoy our visit. Her local manager/representative, Yvonne, popped in a couple of times, to make sure we were alright and no problems had arisen. Yvonne also recommended sites to see and things to do during our stay. It was our first visit to Cyprus, so we found this useful and followed a few of her suggestions.Car parking is under the apartment, so the car was always nice and cool when we went to use it in the mornings, great as it was 25 degrees by 10am.

Would we recommend this property to a friend or relative?...the short answer is NO...we'd recommend this property to EVERYONE! We've already booked again for next year, we loved it THAT much.

Home-from-home experience

The apartment was exactly as outlined. A good-sized apartment with a large patio which we used to eat all our meals, and with all the facilities that we needed. It was spotlessly clean and well-maintained with a welcome pack and lots of extras thrown in.

It is set in a quiet residential area within a few minutes walk of two well-stocked 'kiosks' and about 15min walk down to the sea front and harbour.

The owner, Eileen, was very helpful in making our stay so enjoyable. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Lovely holiday

A well equipped, stylish apartment, everything needed was there. One of the best apartments we stayed in. The apartment is very well located for Paphos town with many restaurants and bars. Eileen was very helpful and supplied a very useful information pack. This was our second visit and we hope to go again next year. I would recommend this apartment to friends and relatives.

Paphos apartment

Lovely,well equipped apt, very comfortable, a lot of thought has gone into decoration and everything has been provided for. All was of a very good quality. The patio area very pleasant to sit on and plants made it very pretty.Near to a bus stop and the bus service was good and reliable.

The only downside was the walk to paphos centre , it was good 15 mins but through building sites and a run down area.

Eileen was most helpful, the booking easy and very quick ,lots of information provided and a taxi to pick you up, being near to airport a bonus.

Fab holiday

A delightful apartment close enough to all facilities. The apartment itself is spacious and well cared for. Eileen was a dream to liaise with and even helped sort out car hire.

It is in a friendly and quiet part of Paphos. Would and have recommended it to friends and family.

Like home from home we will return.

To secure your booking we require £100 sterling deposit which is non-refundable if booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks before holiday start date. Changeover Day:
We aim to be flexible to your needs depending on flight times and apartment bookings. However, same day handovers will more than likely mean you have to exit the apartment at 11am. We may be able to arrange storage of luggage but cannot guarantee it.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
