Very private without being isolated with plenty of tapas bars, restaurants, coffee shops and supermarkets all within walking distance. Los Americas 15 mins (where you will find a fantastic water park) and Los Cristianos 10 mins away. Los Abregos and Cristianos have great local markets and bazaars with a sandy beach and kids corner. The apartment also has private underground parking. Only 15 mins transfer time from airport. Next door the Winter Gardens offers world class carpet boules and tennis. It also has an outstanding Health Club and Beauty Spa which is open to non residents. The beach, new marina and San Blas square are a short walk away with plenty bars, restaurants and nightly entertainment. Nearby are 2 golf courses. It is an ideal venue for Golfers or a family holiday.
Hi, Im 45 year old,married & living in Scotland. I used to have my own marketing business which I sold and bought properties. I go to Spain & Tenerife at the beginning of each season to do a complete clean from top to bottom, I prefer to do this myself as no one tends to clean as well as I do. I am a complete clean freak. I make a list of things to be repaired or replaced, this is done at the beginning of a season. I would not rent to anyone less than I would expect myself. I have very high standards & my properties reflect this. I have never had one single complaint & I have people returning year on year (this speaks for its self. I love both places for different reasons.I love the tranquility however like the fact if you want shopping & night clubs you can also do just 15 min away.

I decided on the location because it is more up market then other parts of Tenerife. I like to be able to choose if I want peace & quiet or a more lively holiday & this offers both. The complex is more up market than some of the others & the apartments were finished to a very high standard. Our committee is made up of owners who live there all year round. They insure that none of the standard slip.The complex is in a great location with many bars & restaurants all within walking distance. It is situated in a location remote from the crowds, but within walking distance if that is what you want. The guests return over & over again . All say what a wonderful place it is & after being there don't want to go anywhere else.There is a lovely marina 2 min walk away with glass bottom boat trips.
The property has lifts from street level to all three floors thus is good for people with mobility problems & wheelchair access. It is very good for families. There is a carpet bowls club next door that play leagues. It is also near the mercadona where you can buy anything you need. Has a very well equipped kitchen for those who prefer to cook in, however all restaurants are good value for money. You can get all the sports events on large Screen 2 min away. There is also live music in various venues that you can walk to.The property is spacious with two full bathrooms & although it is advertised to sleep 4 it has an additional sofa bed.It is on the pool level so it enjoys one of the best situations on the complex. I go there on my own sometimes & I always feel very secure & safe.
‘We have been holidaying in this apartment for the last 4 years. We have not found anything better anywhere. Lots to do and see. We just love relaxing round the pool. We can leave our child and watch from our sun lounger when she is in the pool. Its our most relaxing holiday yet. The accommodation is superb for the price we pay. We would recommend to anyone. Stayed as a family of 4 during the first week of April. The apartment is very spacious despite it only being one bedroom. It is well presented and it has a lovely large patio area . Loved the complex for its cleanliness and being very well maintained. It was very quiet and peaceful, hardly any body there! The location of this apartment is perfect as it is secluded but a few steps away from the pool. A short walk over the road and down to the beach where there are several restaurants , we loved Lava Beach and the Mexican one. A half hour hike ( need sensible shoes!) to Los Abrigos is well worth it for fresh seafood restaurants. Would def book this apartment again for a week's holiday.
Initially a bit disappointed no dish washer as advertised, but this was no big deal. This apartment was fantastic, spacious lovely furnishings and everything you could need for a home from home. Never moved for 10 days. The whole complex is immaculate. Nothing to fault. The owner Brigid was lovely to deal with and very informative and efficient. Lots of nice restaurants and also to take away and nice walks and San Blas square only a 10 minute walk with it's nice restaurants and a few nice shops. The whole stay was fabulous thank you Brigid, Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.
The apartment is very clean and has all comforts of home, the complex is very well maintained,and there are plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets within easy walking distance and a good bus service to take you all over the island.

Apartment is clean, homely, well maintained and I love chilling on the patio or lounging by the pool. Great location for nice walks, my husband loves the golf course nearby and the restaurants in San Blas especially Gullivers and the a Tapas are my favourites. Can't wait to return and would definitely recommend to friends.
Stayed here in October for a week and found it to be an excellent apartment in a great location. The apartment and whole complex is very clean and very well looked after.
We had amazing weather for the whole week so made full use of the pool which is heated so is a lovely temperature to swim and cool down. Since the apartment is at pool level, it makes it very handy to nip in and out and go back for lunch.
Apartment is spacious and has everything you need, i.e., washing machine, big fridge with freezer, cooker and a nice LCD TV and DVD player. And the two showers/bathrooms are great. We used the outside table and chairs for all of our lunches and had a couple of dinners at the apartment outside as well… if only we could do that in the UK all year round!
There are restaurants right outside the bottom access gate and also even more down at the sea front just a couple of minutes walk away and every one we ate in, was superb. A 10 - 15 min walk away is San Blas which plays host to even more restaurants so you’re not stuck for somewhere to eat.
We didn’t hire a car as there are bus stops right outside or always plenty of taxi’s about so getting about is easy from Duquesa Del Mar.
Would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family and I hope we’ll be back for some more Tenerife sunshine next year!
We had a fabulous stay at this apartment. It is very well located with all local restaurants and bars a few minutes walk out the front of the complex. Nearby the local marina again only 5 mins walks has some nice places to eat and drink. For a longer walk and to experience some truly excellent local fish restaurants you can go along the coastal path to Los Abrigos. The apartment is very nice and functional, well kept and very clean. The location of the apartment is almost adjacent to the pool so it is probably one of the best situated in the complex, particularly good if you have young children as there is also a nice area for the kids to play adjacent to the apartment. Would certainly recommend to anyone wanting to visit the quiter parts of Tenerife!
