Apartment Nr. Burriana, Nerja, Costa del Sol - Prime Location, 5 Mins Walk to the Beach

Nerja, a popular resort is readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. It nestles in the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow, vehicle restricted, cobbled streets, and offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the big resorts further along the coast. With small picturesque bays, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, and its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for all seasons, especially for families and the more mature holiday maker. Local excursions include the Nerja Caves, one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions. The accommodation includes one double bedroom with en suite, one twin bedroom, a full bathroom with shower, bath and wc, a lounge/diner with TV/DVD and patio doors to the terrace which overlooks the pool and sea. A fully equipped recently refurbished kitchen has oven/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. In February 2017 we fitted a new air con/heating system.

We are two families from England that have known each other for over 10 years. We each have 2 children aged between 14 & 18 who love spending their time in Nerja fishing, swimming and just relaxing.

Why Sharon Panes chose Axarquia (Costa del Sol)

We fell in love with Nerja during a visit in 2005 and decided that we wanted to buy an apartment. We decided on the area that we wanted to buy and we believe we have one of the best locations in Nerja as it is only 5 minutes from the beach and town, yet tucked away in a quiet corner.

What makes this apartment unique

There are some fabulous traditional restaurants and bars a short stroll from the apartment where you can practice your Spanish. We really enjoy our time in Nerja and are sure you will enjoy this traditional Andalucian town. If you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to contact us.

Notes on accommodation: Travel cot available. Outside: Communal gardens and pool (normally open Easter to October) garden has a small slide and swing for younger children. Private off road parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included, the property is cleaned and towels and linen are changed once a week.

We had a fabulous week in this very well equipped apartment. Beautiful kitchen with everything required and comfy sofas! Pool just a few seconds away! The owners were a great help in making our holiday just perfect! Nice and quiet in a position for shops and restaurants. Definitely without any doubt would go again. Thanks

Beautiful apartment in an ideal location

Lovely apartment, clean and modern, comfortable living room area with sky tv, kitchen has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Bedrooms comfortable, ceiling fan powerful enough that we didn't really need to use the air con. Beautiful well maintained gardens and pool area. Quiet at night and short walking distance to the balcon. Perfect setting right by the beach, lovely view from the apartment balcony. Owners very helpful and always responded promptly to any queries. Would highly recommend this apartment, I only wish I had booked longer than one week, I didn't want to leave!

Good location with Parking near Nerja centre

The apartment is in a block close to the coast, and has the view of the coast shown in the photo. It is a short easy walk from Nerja centre and numerous good restaurants. It is also a short walk to Burriana Beach. In this area, parking is a problem, so the fact that this apartment is in a walled compound with its own free parking is a huge bonus.

The owners stay there regularly themselves, so they maintain high standards and provide everything that their guests are likely to need. There is even heating and air-conditioning.

The only negative thing I could say is that the swimming pool appears to be empty during winter months (I have visited twice in March).

For guests wanting to stay near Nerja centre, this apartment is highly recommended.

Badly managed unable to rectify simple problems.

The accomodation was reasonable,however the size of the shower room was rediculously small.Both showers were unable to deliver a set water temperature,running from hot to cold with no warning.When the gas bottle in use was empty,we found that the spare bottle supplied was also empty.When a new bottle was delivered,the boiler would not ignite.I waited in until 5p.m. before Maria's husband came to reignite the boiler.I lost a complete day of my holiday.The laundry was not exchanged on the promised day and I had to call Maria to find out why.The last two days were spent with no hot water to the kitchen sink,this meant boiling a kettle to wash up.All in all very disappointed with the management,will not be returning.

Lovely homely property, with great views.

So lovely I don't want to tell anyone incase it gets booked up. Great location. Near beach and restaurants also short walk to the Balcon de Europa. Nerja is a great town with great transport links to Firigliana, Malaga, etc. Would recommend the Rincon de ENCARNE on the roundabout in Calle Rodriguez Acosta. Opposite Trebol. The food was delicious each time we visited and order in advance and have the Paella. In a word. WONDERFUL.

5 min walk to the award winning blue flag Burriana beach. Famous for Ayo's restaurant where thier speciality paella is cooked outdoors in a large pan over a wood fire. Burriana has a very pretty bay with a mountainous backdrop, you will find a good choice of restaurants and cafes, the beach also offers sunbed, parasol and pedalo hire and has plenty of space.


Malaga airport 70 kms, approx 50 minutes drive.
