Apartment in Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol - Walking Distance To Beach, Bars, Country Club, Golf Range And Tennis Courts

Our first floor apartment, enjoys a peaceful setting with fabulous views of the ocean and pool. It has a one double bedroom which has sea and pool views and one twin bedroom. It is tastefully furnished in Spanish/Moroccan style. The complex consists of 99 two bedroom apartments sharing a communal pool. Our apartment is on the first floor. Our balcony has a table and four chairs which offers stunning views of the ocean and overlooks the fabulous pool and tropical gardens. The beautiful Cabopino Beach is 5 mins drive away offering marina, restaurants and watersports. La Cala beach is also only 5 mins drive away. Our local beach (Mijas Beach) is 10 mins walk away and offers a beach bar cafe and our favourite Garden restaurant.

Lovely apartment and relaxing stay

We stayed here for a week in September. The apartment was lovely, with a stunning view of the Mediterranean and the pool and grounds.

The apartment catered for all our needs and was very spacious and homely. The pool was lovely and always relatively quiet.

We rented a car from Malagacar.com which was ideal for us, allowing us to get out and about to the shops and to explore a bit.

On our stay we visited Marbella, a visit to the old town is a must! We also took a trip to the mijas water park which was ok, a good day out for families.

Enjoyed cocktails at Max's beach bar and sangria at El Juncal on the beach. Da Vinci's at Dona Lola a lovely restaurant. Pizzas were amazing!

Overall we had a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

Booking this apartment couldn't have been easier, Sam was very helpful and efficient and gave lots of good information.

Peaceful location with stunning views

Just arrived home from a two week stay here (2 adults and two children age 8 and 9).

Peaceful and quite residential hotel noise type location.

Stunning views from the balcony over to the Mediterranean Sea, over towards Africa and Gibraltar nearly some clear days.

Two bedroom apartment - spacious and very open plan, which we liked. Great utility room area with lovely breeze in the morning through the property that was welcoming.

Lots of extra items in the apartment such as books and DVDs that were very useful thank you.

30 seconds from the apartment to the pool....kids were faster than that, normally forgetting their flip flops!! Very peaceful from 9am til around 1pm at the pool, maybe sometimes not even sharing the area with anyone for the first couple of hours. Busy times at the pool from 1 til 5 then quiet again til 9pm, which was nice and suited us to the tee.

Less than10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants, David's bar being our favourite, cocktails, pool table and air con!!

Adam who looks after the apartment was a lovely guy, picked us up from the airport for 45 euros, door to door, and allowed us to stop at the supermarket for a couple of bits and bobs on our way to the apartment.

Places to eat - max beach club, upmarket but not too posh, not too expensive but quality food. Churning units La Lucera was really reasonable and had sardines on the beach, which was lovely.

Korma restaurant for an Indian was very nice, twice we ate here.

Chamboa beach club just under the pedestrian crossing towards Marbella was a lovely location for strawberry cocktails (2 for 8 euros) freshly made and delicious.

The boardwalk to La Cala is a lovely 45 minute walk, passing many chiringuitos on the way for a quick drink, very easy with young children, wheelchairs, pushchairs as all the way is a wooden brilliant.

No air con, ceiling fans, but two were broken during our visit, but Adam sorted a fan and a stand alone unit to cool the rooms down for us, it was around 40 degrees some days and having used the apartment a lot in the day time, this was very welcoming.

Apartment facilities are more than adequate for holiday needs and would recommend to anyone wishing to visit.

A Comfortable Home from Home

We spent 12 nights at Sam's apartment and had a great time. The apartment itself is comfortable and is a good size. We stayed during August and were a little worried that the place would be too hot for us (no air-con), however due to its elevation the breeze coming through the windows at night really cooled things down. The beach is only 10 minutes walk from the apartment and has a few good places to eat and drink. A little further along the coast there are some nicer beaches and many places to while away the afternoon and evening.

We spent a couple of days just at the apartments and used the great communal pool every day.

All in all a great stay.

The communications and arrangements from Sam were excellent, with no unexpected surprises. We would highly recommend this apartment.

Great apartment with easy access to pool

We stayed for four days in July. Owner had been very informative, sending lots of images and info upfront. Really good! Apartment was easy to find and located very closed to the shared pool. Lot's of free space around the pool during the day - and pool had own life guard! Supermarkets nearby and 20 minutes walk to the beach (with little kids).

Great as usual

We have been staying at this apartment since 2007 and has almost become a home from home for us. As usual the communications and ease of booking are first class and the apartment is ideal for either couples or families with a great local pool and nearby beaches. Cabapino is a must!!! The apartment has everything you need(washer,cooker,kettle,etc) Will book again for 2017,18,19......

Excellente apartment

Lovely apartment, well equipped, with a a great pool which is well maintained. Close to all amenities and a local beach with a great boardwalk. Many other lovely places all close by, so plenty to explore. Only spent a weekend but really needed a week :-)

Notes on accommodation: The complex is very family orientated and not suitable for younger groups of people. As it is situated on a hill with some steps it is not suitable for anyone with disabilities. Please email for more stunning photographs of apartment and area. Outside: There is a fabulous communal pool and small baby pool (not heated) surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. The well established, tropical gardens are well cared for and surround the complex which is gated and can only be accessed with a key. Utility Room: We have a utility room which houses the fridge/freezer, electric boiler and offers plenty of storage cupboards. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels and all bed linen, blankets, tea towels are included. Cleaning takes place at the end of your stay. Other: Although our apartment does not have air conditioning we have ceiling fans in each room and because of the location of the apartment we are lucky to have a gentle sea breeze throughout the day.
